Staying in a hotel, smart move. An enquiring mind would like to know, did Jack the cameraman forgive you for his cold feet? I hope he got a nice cup of tea and a biscuit for his efforts. Great set ups on the bikes guys, all I have on my Trek Marlin 7 at the moment is a pack rack, bike pump mount and pump, drink bottle, headlight and tail light. I am slowly working out what packs I might need, this video is an eye opener. Great job fellas. Always fun with Neil and Blake.

20:17 I rode 10 miles around that velodrome and climbed up the last decent on my Aeroad when bikepacking... Minehead and the surrounding area makes for a great cycling destination, thanks for showing it off
It's great seeing you ride less manicured trails for a change. Most of of us - well, me anyway - can't afford expensive bike parks regularly; we ride trails we have to also help maintain. It is great watching you ride 'real' terrain, for a change. THANKS!
Love Fidlock products, I've been waiting for the 800mL bottle to become available in the US and finally ordered one yesterday! Feels funny to be so stoked on a water bottle but MTB will do that lol
Used to work in Dulverton. Drank in that hotel's tap bar and played for their pool team. Happy memories of biking on the moor too. So much good biking up there.
We did this using hostels on 125 mile route over 5 days in the Lake District in the 90’s. I rode a Raleigh Massiff down the Old Man of Coniston with rim brakes!! 😂😂 ah to be young again but I’m still biking!!! 👍❤️🌎
I have read that Exmoor has the highest concentration of bridleways (and single track) of any UK national park. But looking only at the summit heights it is easy to underestimate how hilly it is. 50k /day is really impressive for Exmoor. My hot tip is to use the steep tarmac roads to climb and save some energy!
Francis Cade is the one who tuned me into the Fidlock system. Got a bottle for my hardtail and haven't lost it yet even after crashing. Thinking now of the small storage case Blake was using to carry food or use as a tube/flat kit.
Awesome video, it's these ones that inspire me the most, dont get me wrong I appreciate all the hard work you guys do to put out so many videos but I do love these epic rides in the countryside. Also congratulations on doing the cream and jam combo the correct way round 😜 All the best guys

I enjoyed your one day getaway as I sat on my sofa watching you climb and climb and it just shows you don't need to pack lots of stuff for an overnight stay I watched it all down to the last latte 🍵 😀

I did a 3 day luxury bike packing in Sweden last year. Easily the most memorable vacation ever. Don't tell my gf. She still thinks that damned all inclusive was lit
It's awesome to see that you two are on this bike packing adventures Too bad you guys didn't decide to actually do a campout but I guess a hotel is okay That way you two and the crew could actually get more work done I guess Next time let's see you to do an actual 3 days with camping out That's three days of writing two nights of camping And I want to see you 2 do it in hammock and tarp setup just to see how you guys pack it and utilize it for me I'm very used to it and yes I do use a stinger seat post bag and a front cinnamon roll bag that opens on both ends same as what you have there Blake just not the different middle piece that holds it on the handlebars unfortunately although I wish I had that it would be a lot easier on me
That rigid lightweight mtb would be a sweet do-it-all bike. Almost salivating... Sadly, you couldn't use it for general city riding though, which it would be ideal for as well as off-road riding, as it'd be stolen within hours.
Take a sawyer mini water filter next time you boys are out! For the weight/size it is well worth carrying. Be warned though the bags that come with it are useless, buy an aftermarket one (CNOC 👍)
The biggest problem with riding long distance on proper bikes for me is finding proper routes. Often you don't know whether this or that road or trail will take you somewhere far or will it end up on pavement very soon ^^

can you guys explain the land use system in Britain. I've heard a little about it but don't really understand where you can and can't ride.
