That's true my grandma allways said that to me :" Not to leave your shoulders forward but to keep them back. Imagine a string holding your head up and making your neck long". Breasts up ,good bra's help and not look like quasimodo (African grandmothers say that is to walk with a baby on your back).

Allso my mother used to have me walk with books on top of my head &to make me speak in a soft spoken voice& not curse not gossip and learn good posture. Allways helps me, to be unbotherd and keep it moving.☺

Especially when getting older its important to stay healthy, exersize and throw in some weightlifting. All for the backmuscles ,core and posture. And with children its important not to let them sloughs with heavy schoolbags. But to walk up straight when carying too heavy bags. All tho they might think its cooler to lean in a bit and walking up correctly is nerdy. They will thank you later on. Asia Jackson do a video on posture,please? Good and bad examples. TIP: I never iron my shirts... if I put them in the dryer, I fold them straight away and they don't look wrinkled that way, and if I "air-dry" them, I make sure they're super straight so they don't have wrinkles afterwards .... also, that's only when I care, because half the time my clothes are as wrinkled as could possibly be

My rule for myself is if I always need just one of these 3 things to look good: hair, makeup, or outfit. And if one of those things is 10/10 the rest don't matter as much, at least to me.

Very good vid! Most of the tips are similar to mine, but I'd add that well polished/very clean shoes make the difference, dirty shoes can make the whole outfit go down.
How to look good:
1. Be good looking
2. Just breathe. Just exist.
1st step:make sure your clothes are wrinkle free. I died, literally on duty (night shift), and my uniform 😂

My tips :
- Having a BOMB morning routine (skincare + yoga and/or meditating) and it doesn't have to be extra, it's just to have that 'i love myself so much i want to take care of my body and soul' mindset
- Putting a perfume you TRULY LOVE that really represents your personnality and puts you in a certain vibe
- Putting a transparent nailpolish that makes them look like they are naturally polished and shiny
- Put minimalist earings to look classy, i heard that spanish women ALWAYS put earings, like they CAN'T go out without ones

It's more of a psychological thing for me. I used to always aim to look different, when really it's all about putting the love and care into your body, mentally and physically. People will always notice personality first ultimately. But yas I do rely on my signature jacket to give me that extra bit of ooomph also ;)

I love thisss. I agree with all those tips, and I will throw on a nude lip or a tinted lip balm with any outfit to elevate it, and if I'm not feeling my hair (in colder months) I'll wrap a big scarf around my neck and keep my hair tucked in! And I find that having a nice, structured jacket and good shoes will make any outfit look put together :)
also yes I 100% agree with this video! I think also what's important is knowing how to translate these tips into your personal style! And the part about the nails could not be more true. We do so much with our hands everyday...and when your nails are on point you WILL feel sexier/more glamorous about almost everything you interact with.

Beside what you said in a video, I always divide clothes, shoes, socks, panties, bras into sections: 1. going out (where I only wear the best looking new ones) 2. sleep, home, workout (where I wear a bit worn out stuff) It makes me look and feel better knowing I wear the best ones on me

When I do laundry I put an entire outfit on one hanger (shirt, pants, jacket). That way if I'm in a hurry I can grab a hanger from my closet, get dressed and rush to work. It also saves space in the closet.

Tip: Using a matte, transparent setting powder daily (with or without makeup) - i have dry skin but this still changed my life. Also, doing 20 squats before bedtime gives a subtle boost of confidence the next morning (and in the long run).

I always use a hair dryer to take off the wrinkles from my clothes. You can use it with the clothes on your body, it's very nice
