it took me 3 years to incorporate a green coloured aesthetic in various colours to go with my warm skintone. to me greens are earthy and each shade shows the versatility in the colour. green can be happy and green can make you look put together. i just love the colour and i really appreciate how much wear i get from tops, shirts, sweaters, jackets it just suits me very well!

@ThalvePereira awe no problem! Yeah it definitely took time to make my wardrobe how I wanted it to look! Patience is key and you'll get there don't worry! You will find the pieces that you like and enjoy and you'll be very happy with the effort and success!
As a cool-toned gal I love my silver jewellery and my go-to clothing items are: wide trousers and jeans chunky monotone sweaters maxi skirts dress shirts monotone sweatshirts and tees blazers doc martens mules Most of these items I prefer in blue, black, grey or white. I feel most confident in these colours.
A note of caution about the vein trick: my mom and I both have green veins, but she is VERY cool-toned and I am VERY warm-toned. I'm sure the trick works for some, but maybe pair it with another technique to double check your results
I started thrifting a few years ago, bought lots of clothes on impulse since they're cheap, probably half of them I don't have now but that process helped me understand the style that fits and gives me confidence. I discovered I love square/heart shape neckline and fitted tops look better on me.
Yes it’s the best way to actually learn with practice if you can afford/access it!!! There’s so much variety and I don’t have any guilt about waste like I do when I buy something new and it doesn’t work
this is so helpful! i'm truly terrible at fashion, i have no idea what my signature style would be other than leggings and sweaters at this point, ever since the pandemic 😂every time i have to leave the house and wear actual clothes i get stressed out, because i have nothing that makes me feel confident and comfortable. getting dressed (up) stresses me out while i feel like it should be fun. i've been looking for that confidence boost and i just can't seem to find it, but your fashion videos are so incredibly helpful and fun! thank you for helping out us not so fashionable girlies 💅
First of all thank you so much Asia. I’ve realised that last year i studied my tones and undertones and I just realised that I have deep tones with warm undertones and seeing my wardrobe i only choose those kind of colours but at the same time I am experimenting and see what fits me the best❤ I didn’t even finished the videos and your serie on how to build a wardrobe is awesome ✨🎀
@@Sarah-hd2zm I guess it depends on the colour of your veins. If it’s green = warm. If it’s blue/purple = cool. If it’s both = neutral. But you could try the foundation method too by putting sample of foundation on your arm and jawline and see which one fit you well as a base foundation and/or concealer. For me is a brown with khaki pigmentation that embrace my natural foundation. Btw I’m more neutral-warm undertone. Hope it helps
Thanks to your videos, I've been working non-stop on fashion for two months and have taken my entire style to a new level. Zalando should send you a thank you voucher for as much as I've ordered there since then. ^^ My uniforms: For lazy days at home - Mainly sweater dresses with tights (no pressure on the belly, a little oversized, super comfortable and cute at the same time) - For outside: princess cut coat over it and ankle boots - Baggy jeans or cargo jeans (very comfortable) - Tight sweater as a contrast - Basketball shoes - With a puffer jacket - Wool sweater - Tight, black leggings (the all-rounder)
I realise the other day I have an obsession with white button shirts. Whether they maybe crop or regular length, I typically gravitate towards them. I like a pair of light blue jeans, paired with either a classic white sneakers or chunky platform boots. Then I would often switched pants up with high waist trousers, crop plain basic tees, white or black. Footwear style never changes. I like plain gold jewelry, and a clean plain blush pink nail designs, med length. 😉
The second I started paying attention to how I look depending on the color with my skintone I was like OMG this is a game changer. I went from wearing camel/tan to red and dressing is so much more fun now!
I used to think of myself as someone who had a personal style. Then I moved to a different country with a different climate and I’m only dressing for survival and it honestly has created me many frustrating moment because I miss the days where I could look and feel good. Please please can you do a series on hot and humid weather outfits that are not short shorts ? 🤯🫠
Actually for this year, one of my goals is to incorporate more of those "special occassion" pieces into my signature style! Probably will only be in the form of accessorizing, as that's easiest (also, most appropriate for all occasions haha). While I have been working towards creating uniforms to quell that decision fatigue and overwhelm when I open my wardrobe, I found it has taken the joy of getting dressed sometimes. Maybe it's just a current phase, but I'm gonna wear my shimmery purse to the grocery store sometimes because it'll make me smile more that day!
Love this video! I figured out that my style is pretty much similar to the “clean girl” -trend. So that’s what I’m going to be wearing more of, even tho it’s trendy. It works for me 😊 thank you for this information 🎉
Your video content is on point. I was working on my signature style for a while now and your video confirms I am on a good path. I really appreciate all of your content 🫶🏻
Funny enough I remember seeing your 2018 video and realizing I also hated all of my sweaters because of the boat neckline and I haven’t bought another one since then 😅 that video really made me think of the necklines that actually look good on me and I enjoy!
It's crazy cos I think those necklines are actually the ones that look the best on me. Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine! I’d be sooo grateful if you swung by and took a peek. 🙏 Stick around if you like!
Hey girl, I just discovered your channel and your videos are so helpful and amazing! One of my goals this year is to be more intentional with my style and I have been learning so much from your videos! I would love it if you did a video describing your process of getting rid of old clothes? Like do you donate them? Do you give them away or what you do to fix them up if they are wearing down etc. I think that would be cool 💕
Omg when I found out that I *only* like sharp contrast and stiff, thick fabrics my life CHANGED it's so easy to shop now and I always look good bc I only have clothes that look good!
You look very comfortable. Also, I really enjoyed your old video guide to shopping in New York - it would be great if you continued the series elsewhere. For example, I'm in a suburb of London but I'm new to *luxdups* shopping so I don't know where I'm going or what to buy in my city.
Asia, I'm a big big fan of yours. It's been a year since I'm following u and yes, every time I get such a boost of confidence and positivity from watching u. Girl, you're slaying! Sooo good 🤍
my fav go to uniform is just a fran fine™️ : black turtle neck, black tights, black boots or mary janes and either an interesting mini skirt or an interesting mini/maxi dress on top + gold jewelry & a deep red nail 🙂↕️ and in summer i just do a princess diana™️: big athletic sweat shirt/oversized tshirt, bike shorts, crew socks & a chunky white sneaker + sunnies & a bandana OR the camp counsler special: oversized tshirt/tight tank top, dark wash denim shorts, crew socks, chunky sneakers/converse + bandanda/baseball cap love my uniforms very much 💛
I loved the way you explained all the details to us! ❤ I've been goth since a very young age, but I've kept 1 or 2 other "aesthetics" to change between for fun (steampunk, coquette-like, etc.). Yes, one person can OWN several styles and aesthetics, and feel genuine in them. I'm also a minimalist, and in order not to have an entire wardrobe of clothes for that one specific style, I keep lots of black and white-coloured yet unique clothing which I can mix and match together and accessorize to create different outfits. And it just happens so that any pieces I place together will match 90% of the time. Also, if you belong to a specific subculture too, it's fine if you don't dress like that subculture all the time! What matters is how you feel on the inside ❤
My autumn/winter signature this year (and I'm pretty happy, as it seems I've finally found a silhouette I like!) has been high neck sweaters in vivid colors (cerulean blue, yellow, red) + a skirt (pleated, A-line) OR straight/wide jeans and boots/converse. I have an unnecessary variety of coats thanks to my siblings, so adding those and accessories I can create a nice amount of different outfits ❤
Interesting video and great tips. For those watching and are curious of what color that suit them, please don't rely on vein test. It says nothing about UNDERtone but more about OVERtone, 👍 Think more about if a soft (greyish) pink makes you look pale/grey/sick, etc. There are great videos from professionals and they never look at your veins.
i wish i hadn't grown up believing that dressing well and looking good meant you were vain; this makes a lot of sense, and helps build your confidence and you can have fun with it - nothing wrong with wanting look good; it's your life etc. etc. and your body is a big part of your life
my staples are cargo (wide leg), gold jewelry, and Crocs are my go-to's, either a cute mini or a tote bag, depending on the day it's a graphic tee or any of my green/brown shirts!
My staples are heavily influenced by the fact that I work an office job that requires a pretty high level of skin coverage. My staples are those fp happiness runs "compression" athletic tanks (these are terrible as exercise clothing for us larger-chested people, but I use them exclusively as either bras/undergarments for work or casual, form-fitting crop tops outside work), white button-ups, cropped button-up cashmere cardigans, high-waisted trousers to go with said cardigans, relaxed fit and lower rise pants to go with everything else, satin scrunchies, and turtlenecks/mock necks. I only really got into white button ups last year (increased my number from 1 to 5), and now I have a *very* good idea of what I like, so we'll see how that pans out this year. I just might figure out how I want to tailor the one white collared shirt I'm less enthused about. Since my realization that I am a cool color season, I have also started looking at silver colored jewelry, but the only thing with that color that has the same durability as gold is platinum, so I suppose I'll just have to start saving, haha...
Wow I gotta say I really love her videos. She just randomly was in my feed today and already watched a bunch of her vids haha I was so convinced that I don't have a signature style even though I like my style and am sure I have one. I just didn't feel like I had a *signature* look. But figgured out: I do have one. I basically always wear a flared jeans, medium rised to low rise, with a thight fitting long sleeve in autmn/spring or baggy shirts in summer/winter. And on top of that I always wear a watch my parents gave me literally 5 years ago (yeah I think I should get a new one but I love my watch hahaha). As jewelry I wear gold medium large earrings, a braclet my boyfriend gave me for my birthday (he's got one too, its our type of a friendship bracelet). And whenever I wear a V-cut shirt or a turtle neck I wear a necklace. For shoes I wear either my plateau converse or my brighter ones from fila. I really had fun analyzing my style (well its a hella long text so of course). Oh and don't mind my grammar or spelling, my German ass is struggeling rn
You are fabulous and have great advice! The only thing I would push back on is the vein test for determining your undertone: you're far better off comparing cool vs warm colours on yourself to see which way you lean. Colour analysts tend to agree that using a vein test to determine undertone does not work. You can google 'colour analysis: cool vs warm colours' to see what colours to compare.
Mine is a henely shirt, muscle tank, petite fitted jeans, and solid gold jewelry (specifically a mood changing one)! I'm partial dark autumn + jewel tones as well
Lovely entertaining video. You have managed to give me some clarity as to what my style is. I've always been drawn to a slightly androgynous and neat way of dressing in my personal style (think blazers, crisp shirts and jeans) - whereas my signature style is lots of floppy linen pants, singlets and loose shirts. In fact I reckon I was dressing coastal grandma before it was a thing.
turtlenecks, suit pants and boots are my go to pieces. I love to wear colors like beige, brown, cream, grey and black honestly and silver jewelry is a must.
Love your videos!! Looking at the color of your veins doesn’t really tell whether you’re warm or cool. Mine are blue but I’m a warm spring :) I really recommend a color analysis it changes everything
it's even worse if you're not white, i spent my whole life thinking i was warm because of my green veins but i'm just chinese lmao i figured out i was a winter by experimenting with what clothes and eyeshadow shades look better on me, i wouldn't say it's necessary to get a colour analysis unless you've taken a good hard look at yourself but are still unsure
I love this video so much! I feel like I was implementing some of this subconsciously and this video was like an aha moment. I used to love silver jewelry and have switched to gold not realizing it’s because of my warm undertones and it genuinely looks better on me. After watching this I know that I will never do a strapless top or dress again because I have really broad shoulders. Skinny jeans are a no for me and I feel less guilty about that. Straight leg or palazzo only. Sandals and shoes are a yay for me but never ever ever flip flops. So interesting analyzing my preferences! Thanks for this vid🫶🏽
mostly i am grabbing for oversized blazers of any texturen and color, dressed - wide leged pants or jeans. t-shirts (neutral, grafic oversized or crop) schunky sneakers, loafers or sandels. in the winter i love cardigans or comfy oversized sweaters. for accesories mostly simpel and gold but i do like a statement gold earing. thank you for the video, i love your style
I just love your styling video. At a time where everyone is over complicating it with 25 different body types and seasons and spirits and what not you keep it simple and we like it!!
My go to uniform pieces are: my Citizens of Humanity horse shoe jeans (I have 3 colours), with a racerback vest & / or jumper, an interesting belt, adidas sambas / pointy boots and bold earrings. I can create so many different looks with this combo - it's a no brainier for me and feels lived in and authentic to me. It took me a while and many bad purchases before I finally figured out what works.
My uniform is - black/grey/white skin-tight tops (tank tops, short sleeves, long sleeves) - wide leg high rise jeans (grey, dark blue, light blue, white) -black low rise cargo pants -open cropped cardigans and cropped sweaters -denim jacket and leather jacket! And a black puffer one too -black boots and black converse sneakers
Amazing video, but I was distracted by your hair most of the time 😅 it looks amazing! Can we get a hair update? What are you doing? It looks so healthy.
Variety of dress styles and materials for different seasons (all vibrant colours with the exception of light blue or light pink), typically with flats after I sprained my ankle. I'm moving away from flats to more comfortable or more stylish shoes depending on the occasion - running shoes or thick heels.
I really need to get a uniform again! Back in the 2010s it was a skater skirt, a jumper or tshirt, and boots. Or sneakers/sandals but usually boots. I wore it no matter what the weather was, even in winter I’d wear it because it gets muddy where I live and it was much easier to wipe mud off my legs than clean it from tights or pants. I just added my winter jacket and I was ready to go! The versatility was amazing and I need something like that to suit my current style
I can relate. Even though this is Eurocentric beauty standards (it helped me to know that) and it was repeatedly brainwashed on us (oh, and also is fatphobic, so you can address these things as a problem with our society and nothing is wrong with your body- you can literally wear whatever style you like). They now make clothing that fits in the same way, you just have to get the right cut. Usually if you see pleats at the top of pants. I hope this helps ❤
you look gorgious in this video :-) actually, to me, i don´t want to paint a picture of myself, i want to feel it every single time and this can change from time to time. this is important when it comes to buying clothes because it might happen, that i need space for something different and only have the same items and get bored. when it comes to trousers it is hard for me to not stock up.
Hey i watched one of ur videos and totally loved it and i really want to watch a video on how to dress for an apple body type i just want to watch your video and no ther persons Will be very thankful if u make one Keep doing tbis awesome work !!❤❤❤

Green is my color too. I love this content!
As a guy I must say: this is next level & there is so much left for me to learn here. I love it.
As a cool-toned gal I love my silver jewellery and my go-to clothing items are:
wide trousers and jeans
chunky monotone sweaters
maxi skirts
dress shirts
monotone sweatshirts and tees
blazers
doc martens
mules
Most of these items I prefer in blue, black, grey or white. I feel most confident in these colours.
Long sleeved sweaters/shirts + straight leg jeans+ loafers is always a slay.

Personal taste not matching with the body type/personal color… the biggest struggle ever😂
So true. My pear-shaped body and short height can never fulfill my personal taste. .😂

Louder 😢😅
Want to be a casual goth, but have a warm skin tone that makes me look like I drown in ink and fabric when I wear all black.

The veins thing itself is life-changing
Amazing video!
turtlenecks, suit pants and boots are my go to pieces. I love to wear colors like beige, brown, cream, grey and black honestly and silver jewelry is a must.
Love your videos!!
Looking at the color of your veins doesn’t really tell whether you’re warm or cool. Mine are blue but I’m a warm spring :) I really recommend a color analysis it changes everything
it's even worse if you're not white, i spent my whole life thinking i was warm because of my green veins but i'm just chinese lmao
i figured out i was a winter by experimenting with what clothes and eyeshadow shades look better on me, i wouldn't say it's necessary to get a colour analysis unless you've taken a good hard look at yourself but are still unsure
Absolutely LOVED this vedio❤❤❤❤❤❤
Please create a vedio on finding the colours that suit different types of people
Oh. Cargo pants raglan sleeve tops and sweaters and trousers. Thanks for the tip on Uniqlo trousers Luv. Oh and Monica Vinader. Keep it coming! ❤
Keep the awesome content coming!
Nails are very important to makes me feel polished. Thank you for pointing out .
Yes, especially when they are well manicured and not too long.
Smart move! I went with roulette and a bit on blackjack. The bonuses make a big difference. What games are you eyeing
Your videos are always so helpful! Please never stop posting
I just love your styling video. At a time where everyone is over complicating it with 25 different body types and seasons and spirits and what not you keep it simple and we like it!!
Oh, the cashback has been a lifesaver for me more than once. It helps take the sting out of a loss
I'm planning to use mine on some cricket bets. There’s a great match coming up this weekend
My uniform is
- black/grey/white skin-tight tops (tank tops, short sleeves, long sleeves)
- wide leg high rise jeans (grey, dark blue, light blue, white)
-black low rise cargo pants
-open cropped cardigans and cropped sweaters
-denim jacket and leather jacket! And a black puffer one too
-black boots and black converse sneakers
This video was so good! Please make one for summer!
This was a really great video! 🩵
Love this content!! I do this sometime styling myself but only thrifted finds but it so fuuuun!❤❤❤
Love this! Can you please do a separate video on colour analysis?
Yes that will be nice
Excellent video! Looking forward to watching more… I just subscribed 🙌🏽
Amazing video, but I was distracted by your hair most of the time 😅 it looks amazing! Can we get a hair update? What are you doing? It looks so healthy.
Your content is gold. You should have at least a million follower!
Variety of dress styles and materials for different seasons (all vibrant colours with the exception of light blue or light pink), typically with flats after I sprained my ankle. I'm moving away from flats to more comfortable or more stylish shoes depending on the occasion - running shoes or thick heels.
With your analytical approach no wonder you can pull YSL so perfectly as on 1:41
Love you loadssss. You bring out the real person in me lol❤❤❤❤
I did, grabbed it the moment I registered. Gives you a nice little boost to explore the games. You thinking of signing up
I used to swear up and down that I was a dark winter. Turns out I am a deep autumn 😂. That definitely helped me let go of certain clothes
The rogue Australian accent on "down below" sent me 💀 Loved the video thank you! ❤
I loved this! You teach me SO MUCH about styling and clothes! Thank you very much 🫶🏻✨
I really need to get a uniform again!
I saw those! Planning to use one on my next deposit. It’s perfect for regular players, right
Please share your lip color!! Im in loveee. Also a new subscriber! Love your videos so much
New fan here. binge watching your videos. this is awesome for me cause it helps improve my clothing style as well as my accent 😊😂
Stumbled upon this video and now you are one of my fav youtube girlies. Immediately subscribed 💜
Your style is preppy and I’ve ALWAAAAAYS wanted this to look good for my body but my thick thighs said no 😭
I can relate.
I love your lip color may I ask what color it is and would it work on a warm skin tone?.
I love the cardi you are wearing here!
you look gorgious in this video :-) actually, to me, i don´t want to paint a picture of myself, i want to feel it every single time and this can change from time to time. this is important when it comes to buying clothes because it might happen, that i need space for something different and only have the same items and get bored. when it comes to trousers it is hard for me to not stock up.
Dude i love all your videos u explain things perfectly and have helped me so much bb ily
Love this! I'm warm undertone and this was so helpful. Thanks!

Blazer, t-shirt, dark jeans, loafers. Casual work + comfy since I have to go office most of the time. Or else it would be hoodie, jeans, runners lol

Asia girl thank you for these bomb videos! I’m going to incorporate these ideas for my husband and his wardrobe too
My selection is based on double breasted blazers, dark wash flared jeans, chunky loafers, small leather crossbody bags and tees with warm tones.
