Thank you Gary! Though, I doubt I'm the best, I am honest and practice ethically, above the standard of care, which is better than most prescribers can say.

I've been on anti depressants and sleeping meds since I was 14. I did need the meds back then but I wasn't taught how to manage my mental illness along with the medication. Looking back I think getting both of those could have saved me many years of pain

I really like your videos. They have been very helpful. Thank you!
I just heard about an antidepressant that is also prescribed for irregular bowel syndrome. It's called nortriptyline (Pamelor). I'm so curious to know how it can also help with IBS because I am someone who suffers from IBS, depression and anxiety. Is this a medication you use in your practice? and of so, can you make a video about this medication?

Glad you find the videos helpful. I do not prescribe Nortriptyline very commonly, it's used as last resort due to many side effects. As far as IBS is concerned, depression and anxiety are common with IBS and there is a strong association with dysbiosis. Have you worked with a provider to determine if you have leaky gut, what is causing it, then fix it? That is what I would do.
