      There is a very thin line between brave and foolish, fortunately, I have yet to cross it.

    First things first Mr B. Take care of that leg man!!!
    Secondly, I appreciate you showing the small town. I’ve been to a hundred or more in the countryside around especially around Battambang and I love them. What a good feeling seeming it.
    That temple though…..wow!! What a task to reach it. I was out of breath the whole time and itching with sympathy from the ant bites. Unreal that adventure!!! I cannot thank you enough.

    Amazing content! You must be proud for getting there. And did you ask what happened to the guide's leg? If it was really a mine, thats terrible we still have it placed on these people land and home.

      Thank you so much, yes it was a landmine took his leg. I see it so often I just don’t see it anymore.
      One village I went to there was a row of old rusty wheelchairs with people that were missing limbs, it was those very fields I had to walk through that afternoon. That was a bit of a wake up call.

      I do try and take caution, but only the other day yet. Another person has blown up by land mine. My best protection is my faith in the temple gods. I hope life is kind to you.

    17:59, two different brick sizes, was the smaller brick added, built later? Not part of the original temple…

    • @TheMrB
      @TheMrB  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, I think it’s just a case of what was practical, or maybe to kilns were being used. What is known as children would have made bricks, as they still do to this very day in Cambodia.

    Great stuff. Why don't you get a machete or something similar?

    • @TheMrB
      @TheMrB  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I get asked that quite a lot. Quite simply it will not fit in the panniers on my bike. And I am already carrying too much equipment. Many people ask why do I not have a drone, the same answer, I just cannot carry more kit. I do not even carry water, which is got me into terrible trouble. maybe one day I will have an assistant or similar, that would be fab. My very best wishes to you
