Hey, just so you know, the deep part of the soda jungle (world 5) is inspired by the Dutch-French painter Vincent Van Gogh and some of his art such as ''a starry night'' !
I don’t like sand, it’s coarse, rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere. Edit: I-It was just a Star Wars quote I don’t deserve this many likes, but now I can provide for my family.
My list (Worst to best): 9 Acorn Plains: Its just a grassland. It really puts the "Plain" in Acorn Plains. 8 Sparkling Waters: It has some of the worst levels in the game, if not THE worst levels. 7 Frosted Glacier: You're just slippin' and slidin' everywhere which is one of the things I hate the most about Mario games, even without ice. But, I do like the feel of it. It's night time, and in the first level there are some stars which I also like. 6 Layer Cake Desert: Same as Acorn Plains. The level is just kinda boring, but not as boring as Acorn plains. 5 Rock Candy Mines: 6-T1 Secret exit, 6-T2. Do I need to say anything else? 4 Soda Jungle: The music is pretty cool, and so is the overall theme. I also like how you go into the deep woods. 3 Superstar Road: I haven't played through much of it yet, but it just looks cool. 2 Meringue Clouds: Nothing much except I just like the theme. Probably my favorite theme in any Mario game. And, the music is an absolute bop, or should I say.. Bap Bap! 1 Peach's Castle: Same reason from the video, its just cool.
I got NSMB 2 a couple days ago. Since i beat DS when i was younger, i thought it would be a cakewalk. I died 3 TIMES on the first level. It may just be because i haven’t played a 2D mario game in a long time, i don’t know
theory: the trip took 2 days. there is night in the frosted glacier, so that means 1 day has already passed, and when you go to soda jungle, there's a deep section, where there's night, and once we exit this section, it's day. so it took 2 days.
Ngl, NSMBU may be the best 2D Mario made from the main series, and I love it! Every World is great at its own way, even the lowest rated ones have a lot of redeeming qualities!
Hey nicoobq you should try one of these challanges. You can choose..... A: beat a sonic game without touching a ring. B: beat a mario game without kiling a single enemy. Or C: do both
W Dude, the Mountain World is one of my favourite themes, I’d love to see levels in the *Precarious Plateaus* and *Prehistoric Paths.* in Mario Maker 2...
Sparkling Waters is my favorite. I don't really care for underwater stages, but I love the Beach levels. 3-1, 3-3, 3-4, and the Beanstalk level. My favorite level in the game is 3-4. I love the Background...
What’s underneath the clouds from world 7!?! World 10 which is a city. The world map are some skyscrapers which you climb, but sadly the clouds block the city view!
My ranking: 9: Superstar Road (Simply too difficult. Level 8 gave me emotional damage. I would have loved it if there were levels with a galaxy background and original obstacles to match.) 8: Acorn Plains (Boring. Just the beginning of the game. No interesting terrain.) 7: Layer Cake Desert (I don't know why but I've always hated the desert worlds. The enemies as well as the terrain are annoying.) 6: Meringue Clouds (In the other NSMB games, the cloud world was always my favorite. It just felt so peaceful. I didn't have that in this game. The music of the world isn't exactly calming either. The levels are decent. The boss fight is great though.) 5: Rock Candy Mines (Has some interesting levels. The level where you have to dodge Porcupuffer reminds me of the Wii game, and the boss fight reminds me of the Monty Tank in the original DS game. Still, this world doesn't feel the same as on Wii and DS.) 4: Peachs Castle (Personally, I don't like that Peachs castle has turned into a volcanic area. I would rather just have a giant green castle again. The levels are very cool though and I think the boss fight is the coolest of all games.) 3: Soda Jungle (I don't particularly like Jungle of the Giants but the design of this world is fantastic. At first I thought the haunted forest was annoying, but now that I think about it, it was a very good choice to add that! Adds a bit of a creepy feeling to the game. Also the boss fight is amazing!) 2: Sparkling Waters (I love water worlds. Like Nicobbq I don't like underwater levels, but the feeling this world gives me is just...refreshing. If you get what I mean :). The world looks beautiful and the idea of adding the ghost ship instead of a house is great.) 1: Frosted Glacier (Looks absolutely gorgeous and has amazing levels. Nothing else to say.) Note: I have never played NSMB 2 so thats the reason I don't use it in my explanations.
I find this a coincidence that this video came out, I got the deluxe version of this game for my birthday and I finally 100% the game yesterday star coins and all. I haven’t started Luigi U yet but I intend on 100% it too!
8. Acorn Plains (1) 7. Sparkling Waters (3) 6. Layer Cake Desert (2) 5. Frosted Glacier (4) 4. Rock Candy Mines (6) 3. Soda Jungle (5) 2. Meringue Clouds (7) 1. Peach's Castle (8) I didn't include Star Road because I've never played it myself but that's my opinion. Harder = better apparently
I recognize the clip for the number four! It was two or three years ago the roads were so icy that cars and buses couldn't break. Ps: the clip was taken here in Montreal, STM is the name of the bus company here.
Whatever You know what I'm going to say "Late" and "Ranking" 10: Secret Island Just Stats 9: Layer Cake Desert This Desert isn't as Bad as World 2 from Wii, although I prefer this World in Luigi U. Perilous Pokey Cave is a good Level. 8: Acorn Plains Ironically the World that's furthest away from the Mushroom Kingdom is Easy. Rise of the Piranha Plants is my Favorite because Piranha Plants make weird noises. 7: Peach's Castle I do Love Volcano Worlds, but I just don't enjoy this one. Rising Tides of Lava is my Favorite because it shows that Buzzy Beetles are helpful. 6: Superstar Road Just like Wii, it's a more Difficult World. Fire Bar Cliff is a fun Level, but Fire Bar Sprint... is Evil. 5: Frosted Glacier Love the Background in this World. I like a lot of the Levels except Fliprus Lake. Wendy's Shifting Castle is my Favorite because the Thwimps are "Straight THWINPing" 4: Sparkling Waters Beaches are Fun places to visit, so Yeah it's going to be high up for Me. I do like this World more in Luigi U. Larry's Trigger Happy Castle brings back a Favorite Enemie of mine, Torpedo Ted. 3: Meringue Clouds Why do the New Super Mario bros games have Awesome Sky Worlds?! A quick dip in the Sky is an Awesome Level, but if you're playing as Toadette in the Deluxe version, it does affect swimming in that level. So Ludwig's Clockwork Castle is my Favorite. 2: Rock Candy Mines Again like in Wii, the Mountains are better than the Beaches. Screwtop Tower is an Awesome Level because it has an Original Boss. Also Bony Beetles and Sumo Bros make a return. 1: Soda Jungle Like Nico said, Awesome World. Jungle of the Giants is Awesome. Deepsea Ruins is an Amazing Water Level. Peach's Castle (the storyline of turning the castle into a lava word is cool, but the levels are unoriginal and there are only six of them! The Bowser battle is also pretty lame.) 4. Layer-Cake Desert (yes it has a lot of sand but I felt it had a lot of other cool things like the statues, the cakes/ice-creams in the background, and the ancient sandstones) 3. Frosted Glacier (the background is beautiful, takes place at night, and the levels are fun). 2. Superstar Road (very interesting and challenging levels that encompass all of the themes. Only complaint is that Superstar Road-9 is the worst secret final level ever.) 1. Soda Jungle (a lot of very cool concepts - logs, bramballs, riding a wiggler, jungle of giants very diverse - Includes Haunted Painted Swamp and Deep Woods and there are a lot of levels!)
Notice how nicobbq puts his gameplays from his challanges, like can you beat super Mario bro’s.u deluxe with mini Mario or can you beat super Mario bro’s u. Deluxe while carrying Luigi.
