I rode the Shinkansen several times, it was great. Their whole rail system operates +/- 30 seconds of schedule, it is a marvel.

Great trip. Sadly to hear that In car service is ended this year, but thankfully the onboard service for Green Class still there. That's mount Fuji without clouds and with clear sky definitely a gift. It's rare to see Shinkansen going late recorded. That restaurant introduction with AI generated video is bit creepy, but nice udon Restaurant by the way, literally above self service, it's DIY Udon Restaurant.

Bit of clickbait. (1) N700S isn’t really “new”, it’s been around for a while now. (2) I wouldn’t really consider Green as “first class”. Gran Class would be considered first class IMO.
