I gather a bunch of hybrid S, zone S, & run stop S. After a year of off season training move the 3 worst to LB for sub packages. Crazy abilities & speed.

The 98/99 speed elusive/receiving backs are possible with no speed caps and elite dev. Which means they won't come to your school that fast but can develop it after their 1st offseason with offseason training boost.

Ive found the best way to get a high speed(95+) back with good cod and carrying is to draft athlete scramblers and change them to RB. The only downside is they start off with high overalls so you will only get 2 good years out of them. Ive drafted guys with 96 speed, 93 acc, 84 carry, 88 break tackle, 99 cod. His overall jumped from 82 as a qb to 94 as a hb, and this was as a true freshmen. By his sophomore year he was 98 overall. Another downside is the archetype will always be receiving back

My brother-in-law played a guy at QB his FR(RS) year and then converted to HB for So(RS) 99ovr, 93 spd, 98 acc, 99agi, 99cod Elusive back, so they can get elusive, just need to get lucky with a lower catch rating and route running stats.

Most of the guys that have that Reggie Bush kind of athleticism aren’t playing running back nowadays. I think partly due to the way the NFL values them and how short their shelf lives are. Kids are paying attention to that

for safeties you should be recruiting physical wr ATH’s!!!! it’s common to find guys at 6’3+ with like 94+ speed and they’re almost always hybrid prototype and have platinum house call/layout abilities. these guys are absolute ball hawks and develop so good

I’m huge on moving power rusher and run stopper DEs to DT. I only go speed rusher and ATH for DEs. Run stopping LBs might be some of the worst IMO too slow for LB, too small and weak for DL. Occasionally I do find success on moving fast safety’s (90+ speed) over to CB. for whatever reason I can never find enough good fast zone coverage CBs.

I've recruited RBs with 95 speed that still had room to upgrade their speed.
I just recruited a 4* RB, with a star dev, on my Army dynasty that has 95 speed and no cap on his quickness.
He still has 2 upgrades left in it.
The RBs with 98, 99 speed are definitely out there.
On my georgia dynasty a few days ago I recruited a 5* RB, with an elite dev, that has 94 speed and no cap on his quickness, and also still has 2 upgrades.
You can definitely get some beasts.
Best RB I have ever recruited was a 4* powerback that ended up with 98 speed.
There's definitely not a lot that will get up to max speed though.
Maybe a handful in each class could have the possibilty of doing it.
You just cant tell which ones can.
Nothing is worse then getting a RB with 93 speed then finding out he cant upgrade his speed anymore.
94-96 seems to be a number where most end up getting to.

MLB: 4 star Field General > 4 star Ath Run Stopper > 4 star pass coverage imo
Field generals are great LB's but very rare imo

Yeah the running backs all trash besides power backs. I just go get deep threats and physical guys and sit them a year guaranteed. The carrying is bad but I’ve had a guy go from a 70 carry to 94 carrying in 2 seasons and also got up to a 97 overall. I got another guy in the pipeline to replace him that was also a receiver I moved. The RBs are too 89 speed. At that point you’re doing nothing for me.

I have success with Kam Davis from Florida State, dude only has like 89 speed 4 seasons in (ai redshirted him year 1) and almost never goes down to first contact, it takes the second or even sometimes a third defender to bring him down.

I don’t have issues with running backs in game. I like the elusive backs for majority of downs and distances and power backs for goal line and short yardage. Speed to me is a plus but it’s not the end all be all. I just won the Heisman with a 95 speed elusive back. I am more concerned about agility, COD and acceleration. Your problem is you try to out run every one without setting up your blocks. Once you understand the purpose of each run concept you will start to value other attributes than just mere speed.

  • @jolteon345
    @jolteon345 10 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

The fast elusive/pass catching RBs are out there. The thing is that they usually don't start ridiculously fast - they are gonna start with 91-95 speed with room to grow, and it's very rare when you find the kid who starts at 96+ speed. Some of them also come in as athlete QBs who want to play QB - the athletes come in at the position that they WANT to play, not what they are best at (either in the moment or long-term). People need to understand that athletes with iffy skill caps will be better somewhere else. The same thing applies to TEs - most will be in the 80-85 speed range, and it's rare when you find the kid with 86+ speed but those also end up developing into the best TEs.
Also I don't recommend moving receivers to TE unless you need bodies. They won't develop much as blockers, so you'll get a 6'5 lightweight TE with bad blocking stats.

Athlete linebackers and athlete possession TEs are legit. The TEs play great at linebacker (just make sure it doesn’t say speed rush linebacker) and DL.

Lmao not to be funny. But finding an elusive back with 3 talents unlocked is the Reggie bush/jamaal Charles is what you looking for. No matter the speed, once an elusive back attains the shifty ability he becomes those type of backs. And btw I’ve seen 94-97 speed elusive backs, and plus 89 speed in CFB is equal to Tyreek hill on madden.

    • @SmokeNopz

That Reggie Bust/Jamaal Charles type back is a receiving back. Get a 5-star Receiving back on your team and you'll see.
PS ... Vernon Davis was a once in a lifetime type TE, he was faster than 90% of the WRs in the NFL, we may never see another 250 lb TE as fast as he was.

I search individually each and every single recruit I add to my board and sign. I play as Navy with a modified offense, it's not the triple option but a mix of the power spread and spread option, so my rbs are sufficient and serviceable but there almost never is one that separate from the crowd as a clear #1 across the board for any situation...and I still haven't been able to find a setup settings/sliders wise to use for a rb by committee offense. Any tips or advice for what to try or do?
