3:14: This guy... (Michael Jackson)??
3:14 I assume that's Allen Klein
MrGetWellSoon I believe it was Allen Klein.
no dude, it's their former manager Allen Klein
after the beatles break up:
john: screw you paul screw you george
george: no john screw you and screw you too paul
paul: no screw both of you
ringo: thomas the tank engine was a very happy train
I'm just tryna be like Ringo😂😂
hahahaha
Facts
peachy จูบ lol ringo was just happy to be along for the ride
Imagine a world without Ringo as Thomas. I'm glad they split XD
"who broke up the Beatles?"
Everyone: Yoko
Paul: John
And Paul spoke the truth. Not the ignorant, racist, sexist nonsense uttered by butthurt fans. JOHN broke up the band!
Well, i mean. He let that happen, didnt he?
And Paul is right.
I Love Roger Meddows Taylor people always blame the ‘mistress’ but never the ‘cheater’. Put the blame where it belongs... on John
He doesn't want to say Yoko because she's still alive and they still have to see each other on occasion.
It’s official John and Paul invented the diss track
Classic Guitar thought that too 😂
Yeah... west coast and east coast rappers think they created that shit. LOL
Inuit people invented it thousands of years ago they would basically have public song battles over a lover and the audience would pick the winner but the woman would pick who she wanted to stay with
Nooooo not at all 😂
Lmao! Cladsic!
He didn’t even hesitate “I know, John.”
Lol, straight as an arrow
He’s had so many years for the damage to heal, to not be bothered by those times, amazing really, time does heal.
Imagine how sour they were at the time, writing vicious songs about eachother, throwing eachother out of each others houses.
He even raised his hand 🤚 haha
I love how he didn't avoid the question and went straight to the point at it. That's rare in celebrity interviews.
Stars from the 60s To the 80s have that quality since they're used To these types of questions and interviews, TV was so different back then.
Only because John is dead. He never would’ve done that when John was alive
Stern is a great interviewer.
Howard never holds back
Paul is as straight talking as it comes. Now that I’m much older, I truly appreciate him
“Oh I know, John.” Well, it is strange to see a TH-cam video answer the question in the first five seconds.
And its even weirder that there are dudes rampant on this video pretending Paul doesnt know what he went through, just so they can talk shit about yoko. What assholes
First 10 seconds
@@redicedtea8729 Or at all...
A question that the interviewer didn't even mean to ask!! Even Stern!!!
McCartney’s ego/talent broke up the Beatles.
that last line - that's the key: "that's family for you."
Facts
Love how Howard tells Paul the story like he was the one who was there lol 😂
Lmao right? I was shocked at how much Paul let him be right lol.
th-cam.com/video/1x3r3vKcJLI/w-d-xo.html
To people that don't know much about Howard, that's classic Howard for you.
It's an interview tactic. It's easier to get an answer by saying the wrong one than by asking.
HAHAHAHA Good Ole Howard 😅
John and Paul were writing diss tracks before they were cool?
Underrated comment
I don't know, but John Lennon was T-Posing before it was cool. That's at least what I know😊
Throwback Thursday perfect comment
ever heard johns track "how do you sleep"? john recorded it with george and ringo after the band split and pretty much every lyric is a diss towards paul.
They probably invented them.
..."The guy was totally in love with her, and, you know, you've just gotta respect that." That was a respectable statement. Love ya Paul.
Aint that the truth tho.......agreed on all fronts
That's cool respect it,but when he starts injecting her into band business, that is crossing the line.
She didn't come up with the idea to form the band, she didn't put in the practice, and put up with all
the hardship it takes to get to that point. John selfishly added a 5th member that the others had not agreed
to.
It was a simp statement.
...A liiiiiiiiiiiiittle late though.
Yeah, because you know what they say. "Speak ill of the dead".
He's not exactly going to say anythign else...
"we got it back together, thats family for you."
Beautiful
they were soul mates all 4 of them
Dont care who broke it up, love the Beatles till the day I die
Nearly a thousand likes and have no reply.
@@shahaffiq5860 I still consider it no replies
Same.
We all do
we all do eddie
Paul is at a point in his life where he can talk about the break up very dispassionately , even generously. Yes, he says John broke up the Beatles but he is not bitter. He understands and explains what John was going through.
He has a sense of clarity and acceptance that most people don’t have, usually someone who answers a question like that would do it from a place of anger or resentment but Paul did it from a place of truth
Well, thanks god somebody broke up the Beatles too. This way they ended with Let it Be. Else they'd have ended with increasingly embarrassing crappy middle age albums, and still playing on stage in adult diapers.
No one around to question his version also helps
Harry Inkpot Did you have a stroke?
It's like saying your gonna play with the same basketball team for the rest of your life. Or like your going to love the same person for the rest of your life. That's not how life works. You've got to move on. Nobody with a brain on there shoulders thought the beatles were gonna stay together forever.
You can tell he really loved John.
Indeed they were best mates at a very young age 😔😔
Spencer Dobkin
Yes.
Horseshit.This asshole loves himself.
Yes he did ,I think
I think , in a strange way, it's a very good thing the band broke up.
In our days everything seems to be ran to the ground till people are freaking sick of it.
It's noble to go when you 're still at your best.
They were SO young and managed to achieve world wide acclaim.A very difficult feat .Yet they gave us 6 years . We re all grateful for that.
People were controlling them from the start so what the f***you taking about?
6 years? 1962-70 makes 8-9 years in my book
....and it was even longer, if you lived in Hamburg or Liverpool.
They gave longer than 6 years, if you count the years before they broke in the U.S. You must be American.
6 Years? I think its 60 years and counting....as long as there is a World there will be history. Where there is history, there will be The Beatles
"That's family for you" perfectly stated. That is family. Usually families don't have millions of dollars, tons of media, and constant public scrutiny to deal with. It's a miracle any band lasts as long as they do
Unless you're in the royal family and your name is either Charles, Camilla, Diana, William, Catherine, Harry, or Meghan.
@@tammylewis2408 Nah, see what happened to the family today Harry and Meghan are gone.
I would love to see just a 2 hour documentary of Paul telling stories.

They're out there
watch Beatles Anthology...
or inventing them...
Omg would love that
I swear, Howard could get someone to admit to a murder
Incredible interviewer
Dude, is a bloody fuckin' amazing interviewer.
David T even one they didn’t do. And Howard would do all the talking about his knowledge of it.
David T he did that one time haha, with the serial killer guy that called in, the guy ended up getting caught too
I did it!

Damn, Paul was about to tell how he and John patched things up when Howard interrupted with some stupid shit.
Howard likes the sound of his own voice.
Classic Howard. He gets some of the best interviews of all time, but he always interrupts them, and during some great conversations. Drives me crazy.
I can’t imagine ringo coming round trying to demand anything lol he seems too nice like what’s he gonna do go ‘hey Paul please could you maybe not do that’ ‘ringo get out my house’ ‘ok Paul peace and love peace and love’
Then he goes home and makes more MSPaint art lol
Probably that's why they sent him. They probably figured he'd be the least likely to get into a fight about it and that Paul would accept the papers politely.
Ringo was the classiest of the 4
Victoria People can change over time, although I think in many ways Ringo was the most laid back of the Beatles, he also was the first to quit the group (in '68, during the recording of the White album). There are some things Paul doesn't mention to Stern, which I think he should have. Recently, a cassette tape has surfaced of a meeting which John, Paul and George had in early September, 1969, where the three talk about plans for the next Beatles album and the next single for tentatively December, 1969. John suggests that the Lennon/McCartney songwriting credit be stopped, that each song be credited to only the person who wrote it. Paul rejects this idea. John also suggests that from now on, each Beatles album should have four songs each by John, Paul and George, and two by Ringo (if he wants to). Paul rejects this. Paul and George then get into it when Paul claims that George's songs (prior to the Abbey Road album) haven't been as good as he and John's. Paul also rejected John's song Cold Turkey as a possible Beatles song. Maybe, just maybe, if Paul hadn't been so stubborn, maybe John wouldn't have decided (after coming back from Toronto) that he wanted out of the group. By the way, this September '69 recorded meeting was John's idea, since Ringo was in the hospital and John wanted Ringo to hear what the other three had talked about. This doesn't sound like someone who was only thinking of himself and his precious wife. My own feeling is that if they had a manager during their last couple of years together, especially if Epstein hadn't died, he may have been able to get John, Paul and George to reason with each other, but then, maybe not. I don't know how he would have reacted to Yoko's new role in John's life. Who knows.
I gather it wasn't so much Ringos manner but more that Paul saw through it, they always sent someone to do the dirty work for them
John Lennon's failure to seperate his work from his personal life, that's what broke up the Beatles
True artists dont have that seperation.
Blurring the line between his personal life and his work(which includes his songwriting) is the reason why his songs are so intimate and close. Although he wasn't the nicest in the room he probably was the most honest. He was always real and for that he comes off as an asshole. There were no lines separating his life.maybe it was a bad thing but sure was instrumental in the way lennon's songs hit so close to home. Any way that's just how I feel about it. Peace, love and have a good one
just like a marriage...money,sex,family interference..it all fucks shit up
He loved one more than the other. It happens. They all respect his decision (maybe not George I don't know), who are we to say shit
John's writing was so fantastic because he used his emotions, but as time went on his emotions became more of a rage than a depression. Yoko Ono also continuously pushed him to work harder, all that made the other band members want to work harder too, which is what made the white album so chaotic.
Paul is someone not to be messed with--but he always comes across so poised, respectful, and kind. How can you not love him?
Paul has been so forthright in the past decade about his experiences, his feelings and his love for the Beatles. I think it’s a concerted effort to give people facts and set the record straight for history so there’s no questioning later on. Pure gentleman.
He is re writing the Beatles History because John and George cannot rebut his viewpoint.
@@zman3351what exactly is he rewriting? Which points exactly? And if you know factually what is the actual truth do tell.
"We were weaponising songs" you mean inventing the Diss Track, Paul
"We we're weaponising songs" - is more poetic. Goes to show the man's lyric development.
But with something called " subtlety"
jake paul mccartney
99.999999999999 percent sure he did not invent dissing in songs

Paul’s finally not mincing his words about the Beatles and what happened. Great interview.
It's all disinformation.
Exactly
I hope your joking. When a guy puts his hand over his mouth then he is very careful in what he says. John had already made his mind up to leave some months before, but he just didn't know how to tell the others. That was until he had enough of the stalling and then it all came out.
Paul was the one who officially ended the group and it was fucked up on his part. He asked John to not tell anyone about the Beatles breaking up and if no one knows they are broken up then they are still together basically. Paul made it officially news that the Beatles broke up making it seem like he left the band
Install a Friend even on Marc Maron’s podcast he’s just been giving straight, honest answers to everything
The Beatles are so amazing and innovative, they even invented something AFTER they broke up - the diss track.
haha true
Before ice cube and NWA
Paul is such a powerful man with crazy memorization skill. He’s 77. I guess those are worthy memories cuz it’s The Beatles lol
I believe Ringo carefully orchestrated the whole sad saga so he could jump ship and begin Thomas the Tank Engine.
It was time for Lennon to leave, he had seen everything
Fucking Lol!
LMAO
Thank god he did, some say his voiceover completely changed western culture
I agree - that theory certainly has legs...well, wheels any way.
3:38. Paul's Ringo impression, lol.
Nice. Ringo the less smart, John and George knew Paul would be so fucking angry
Jesse Cole FUCK OFF GET OUTTA MY HOUSE
@@carlosvelasquez3279 not "less smart" - Ringo was more steadfastly nice so John and George (and probably really crooked managet Allan Klein) used "nice guy" Ringo to do their dirty work.
And hits it on the nose immediately, without pause. Who knows Ringo better, other than his wife of course.
Fuck off, get outta my house
He sums it up perfectly at the end:
"That's families for you"
John's wife: "I just want a man with pipe and slipper."
Paul: Be right back...
What does a man with a pipe and a slipper mean?😶
@@keshaveenandan3226 it means he would be a man of leisure. Doing nothing. No stress, no worries. That the woman would do everything for him.
@@keshaveenandan3226 I'm not British so I'm not sure 100% but a pipe is something you smoke out of it. It's classy or whatever. And if you're smoking a pipe while walking around slippers, you're probably pretty chill
@@keshaveenandan3226 im assuming it means like a simple man
Keshavee Nandan it refers to a simple bourgeois home life with traditional gender roles....woman stays home, is a housewife and looks after the kids, and the man goes out to work, and when he gets home, he sits in his chair with his slippers, the paper and his pipe, while his wife looks after him... And no drama
John was obviously a bit too rebellious for that kind of traditional lifestyle.
Paul is right. John broke up the band, with his refusal to establish proper working boundaries. Yoko had not place in the studio; John wouldn't make her leave, everyone else resented it, John chose Yoko over the Beatles.
Preach it! The Beatles might have motored along till about the mid 1970's had that idiot Yoko not come into the picture but you're right, she had no place being there at all, especially in the studio. Apart from that when I hear bullshit like this here I'm reminded of just how annoying she truly is and how much I hate her! th-cam.com/video/HdZ9weP5i68/w-d-xo.html
Yes, and the band suffered due to John's refusal to heed the Beatles " established " rule...No Women...were allowed in the recording studio.

Dontvote ForAnybody he chose Loco over his own son too
I have several mutual colleagues with Yoko from her days in Japan and after she met John. To man, every single one of them, has said she is a massive bitch.

@Waldo Rojas lol I love the beatles but you cannot possibly believe George Harrison was less talented than Ringo... unless, of course, it's in reverse
Waldo Rojas damn thats messed up
Waldo Rojas so very true
I agree. I was at his concert last Saturday night. He has amazing energy, touring around the world at 77 and performing a full 2 hours and 45 minutes without taking a break. I totally would love to see him live to be a centenarian. He’s got the Vegan diet for him, he’s healthy. He could do it.
My god howard, LET HIM ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS!!
stfu he did. Paul is very shy and he likes others to do the talking. Howard is the GOAT.
I totally get where you're coming from, but I have to say there's an excitement coming from Howard that you normally don't see. He was kind of falling all over himself. You can tell what the Beatles mean to him. After all, many (myself included) regard them as the greatest band of all time.
That's Howard. Always
As Paul said: John needed powerful women and he fell in love with one. At the time, that close relationship between John and Yoko was odd for the other three. There was also the management issue that put Paul against the other three (Paul was right in the end...). The fact is that all of them needed a break. They were all recording their own material. Maybe Paul was the only one who at the time understood that The Beatles was their lucky break - and throwing that away for good would be wrong. All too complicated for the boys, but today it is so good to see Paul talking about these sad times with such generosity.
Howard: "The Beatles break up. Who knows who broke them. Everyone has a theory..." Paul: "I KNOW!" Howard knew exactly what he was doing. That was the best way to ask without asking. Brillant interviewing.
Paul is just honest
He doesn't want to hide anything
It's has been a while
Ardeth Bay reverse psychology
wrong. simple shit.
Although i assume everyone who is a Beatles fan already knew that, right? I mean that's all i ever heard growing up or whenever the question was asked. I think the better question would have been is what if Paul had actually hooked up with Yoko instead? She went for him first after all lol. Well, messes and band break-ups aside, such is life.
Honestly,if you look at the history of the breakup, they actually started breaking up after the end of their last tour.
See,with no longer needing to tour and all that, there was a decreased need to spend time together, this lead to the individual members doing things on their own and discovering that they didn't need to be Beatles to be fulfilled.
Paul is actually a amazing guy.I met him in Atlanta at the W hotel..We talked about random bullshit for over 2hrs. He even paid the bar tab. Thanks for the history P.M.

Paul, member of the Beatles who was there when it all happend: Yoko didn't break up the Beatles.
Random internet person: I disagree
It is called Semantics, wise ass. Did you listen to all of it? John was the tip, Yoko was the dick, and you are the ass hole
Johns obsession with Yoko did? Then Yoko broke up the Beatles.
People who understand the situation: Yoko was the cause. John chose her over the band. Very simple fact
Axel Bergström he said he wasn’t used to her sitting in on the studio
I disagree
The Beatles had been split up for ten years when John was murdered: plenty of time for the guys to argue, fallout, make up, argue, fallout again and make up again many times, thank God.
Here, Paul is being asked about a band he was in 48 years ago! Imagine someone asking you stuff about a job you'd done that long ago. It must seem like it was in a previous life to him. Bless us :o)
Sometimes you need ten years apart when you've been that close for so long and fallen out. I think something could have happened in the 80s if John lived.

It's so nice to listen to Paul... I think he really cared for the Beatles...
Oh yeah he cared for the Beatles tremendously, he probably would have kept the Beatles going forever if he could, but when John announced he was leaving then Paul eventually had no choice but to make it official months later. This explains why Paul started working on his first solo album before the big breakup of The Beatles announcement came. Paul knew it was coming and so he was trying to move on although I've heard it was very difficult for a while
He was THE Beatles
FBGOODIE! He did. John represented a “challenge” for his songwriting penmanship
Ringo has called Paul a Beatleoholic. Paul went through a very rough time after they broke up. Started drinking heavily and was quite depressed.
No shit? Thank's Captain Obvious.
"Fuuuuhhhhhhkkkkkk aaaaaauuuuuuffffff get out of me house!"
I never understood why bands had problems, until l was in bands... Then it all made sense very quickly ! Unfortunately..
“That’s families for you.” I’m glad this is how Paul sees the Beatles drama. So many people like to point out the fighting as something wild and extraordinary, more contentious than we could ever imagine, all that jazz, but it really was just family members duking it out like family members do.
kari mcnay: Except that not all families make up after some disagreements, mine didn't and never will.

I love how honest and candid Paul was about it. He knows what happened, but he handles it with grace, he is just incredible. He is also respectful about all of it too!
Love Paul. He has been on both ends of the spectrum: Breaking up of the Beatles and so many fans worshiped John; Paul's beloved wife dies; Paul marries a gold-digger whose sole intent was to marry long enough to get half of his wealth; and now, 50 years later, Paul is sharp, healthy, still performing and setting the record straight with grace. That's how he's handled his life through all the ups downs.
Band on the Run. My favorite. It’s like a symphony and 3 songs in one. Best song writers and melody creators of all time.
Got to be one of my favorite songs of all time!
Written by Paul & Linda McCartney, performed by Paul McCartney & Wings. Hit #1 in 1974.
Regardless of what had happened to them. At the end of the day, they left us with such great music. The song writing machine that they were was extraordinary. 10 years together and the number of songs they wrote were insane, and hit after hit. No one else can do that these days I don’t think. And that’s why most people including myself consider them as the Greatest band of all time.
That was a mean thing to say to Ringo in 1970. I can picture a sad Ringo walking away with his nose dragging on the ground.
PS: Forgive the lateness of my reply.
Yes. Ringo got hurt at that time. He even mentioned it to the judge. It seems Paul still now doesn't know the truth. George and John didn't delegate Ringo to go there. Ringo offered himself to go because he thought it would have been rude to send via the post office and it was the intention. He said it would be much nicer. But Paul could not understand and acted just like he said. Unfortunately Linda applauded saying he didn't have to accept that crap. If I was his wife ( I wish...LOL) I would stick by his side, but then I would suggest him to ring Ringo to apologise, as Ringo was not guilty of anything. He only wanted to help.
oh so like every other day? lol.
kinda cracked me up shyman99!
Ringo denies the whole story, saying that it never happened. So I wonder which version is the truth.
The other day, I saw a bumper sticker that said, "Still Pissed at Yoko".......I've been looking for one.......
stillpissedatyoko.com
While you’re at it, get one that talks about how Eve really shouldn’t have given that apple to Adam.
Sexist non sense. Yoko is not to blame for anything. JOHN was a grown man and responsible for his actions. JOHN wanted out of the band. JOHN broke up the Beatles. Anyone to be mad ad at it is JOHN!
You can always go to a website that makes custom bumper stickers and order one.
timothy kearns I wasn’t around when they broke up. I’m still pissed too lol. My favorite band of all time.
The first "rap battle" ever recorded was actually Paul and John going at each other in songs..
i still remember the first time when the beatles played sunday night on the ed sullivan show they blew my mind!
My wife and I met Paul on a sidewalk in New York City a long time ago. He was very nice and a real gentleman.
Paul looks so much better now he isn't trying to fight his age. For some reason I respect him more for it, he seems a lot more relaxed
Front half of his hair isn't dyed here, that's the only difference ...but: You can still see the rest of hair is coloured, (everthing behind the headphones hoop).
I knew there was something about him, you are so right.
Most people gray from front to back. It is not unusual to have gray hair in front, and darker hair in back. Lots of people have that gray pattern.
Again, it is the high-grade marijuana that he smokes that keeps him relaxed and looking young!
If I had his money I'd be relaxed too
Interesting
Love how Paul lays it out here, but there are still Beatles experts leaving comments here that want to enlighten us as to what really happened.
John and Paul straight up wrote diss tracks at each other

I don't think I've ever heard Paul McCartney cuss before
In what part did he cuss
Nick Riddle you should watch the George Harrison documentary Living In The Material World, he drops a couple F-Bombs in that lol
He cusses like a sailor in private. I heard his Bonnaroo sound check and he's a tough boss on his crew. Lots of 'cunts' and 'motherfuckers' and such. He hides that side from the public. Not putting him down, mind you, but that tough Liverpool persona will always be there.

It blows my mind that the Beatles were only around really for 10 years and had such an impact
Howard is such a great interviewer, just knows how to find the most interesting threads and open the guest up to telling the story.
Paul just went right to the point. "I know who broke the Beatles" "Who?" "Jhon did"
No apologies, no false shame or anything like that. He deals with this matter very well.
Jhon?
I mean... he's had a few decades to digest it
Lmfao bless your heart dear.
And he did. Paul couldn't understand the refusal of John. and Co. to keep it out of the press.
Amazing that he's kept his Liverpool accent, despite not having lived in the city for over 50 years. Never forgets his roots neither...does a lot for his home city. Nice one Macca!
I couldn't for the life of me differentiate the 'English' accent from the 'Liverpool' accent.
Bunch of nancies
1965MJW bin dippers
Paul is like "dear Lord..... Again that subject"
Nice and candid interview. We love you Paul.
Paul's such a decent bloke, so well spoken. Great Interview!
Fuck offfff
“We were weaponizing songs”
The original diss tracks
There nothing new under the sun😊
Thank you to Paul McCartney for special commentary on Howard Stern's story.
Love that last line. “That’s family for you”
So true. They were just a very very public family
Absolutely incredible. This little band was together for less than a decade and we're still enamored with them.
Wow that last thing Paul said "we got it back together, that's families for you." inspiring... It is.
"I went to see Paul. To my dismay, he went completely out of control, shouting at me, prodding his fingers towards my face, saying: ‘I’ll finish you now’ and ‘You’ll pay.’ He told me to put my coat on and get out. I did so." - Ringo Starr
Always good to hear him sing and speak. He was also on 60 Minutes and that was highly interesting as well ! 👍👍
I bet he feels much better that he reconciled with George. He knew George the longest & that feud was even more bitter.
What was their feud about?
John B. Perfectionism vs perfectionism
And don't forget Ringo as well. He also did reconcile with John at the end before his death. They actually started to make plans to possibly make another album together, but that was squashed once John was killed. If he had survived, who knows. Maybe, more than likely, they would have played together. There was always chemistry between all of them, and, like all bands, including the Rolling Stones and even Led Zeppelin, they finally did get back together. This might have been the case as well with the Beatles. All that was left for the remaining three Beatles to do was to remix and publish the music that John had written and recorded, but was never recorded on an official album.
@@johnb.8687 George felt that Paul and John ignored him and did not give his songs any time. Although Paul worked with George on some of George's songs he tended to dominate. For example, George hated the bass lines written by Paul on 'Something'. He wanted a simple straight forward bass. Interesting to note that when John was alive George wanted to work with him, but never with Paul.
He probably does. Did he ever feud with Ringo? That seems doubtful, considering how well-liked Ringo was by John, George and Paul. But I could be wrong. S.R.
3:40 spot on Ringo impression!! Haha I love it
It is a shame that the 4 of them, childhood friends, were never in the same room again.
So sad the love was gone!!!!!
I bet they would’ve eventually if John didn’t get killed.
Really?!?!
@@evanbelisle8464 I recently heard that they were talking about getting the Beatles back together when John was killed.
@@Atalanta1313 There's no doubt they would have eventually gotten back together for at least a song, seeing as how today they are literal legends.
Great interview. No bull from Paul. Straight to it.
That's hilarious. Rappers are still doing these beefs in musical form now
rappers are inauthentic fake products of the music industry. The music industry hates artists. They figured out how they don't have to deal with them anymore. Unfortunately that means we all get screwed.
I'm not saying rap isn't music, but I'm saying if youre a rapper who beefs, you're not music.
Except that rap is not music...
Mo 2k
yes they do , it wasn't a high water mark in music to copy , its quite stupid and not to be copied unless your a twat with no class at all.
rap sucks.
“The guy was totally in love with her, and you’ve just got to respect that.”
You don't have to respect a completely pussy-whipped guy who couldn't leave his girlfriend at home and just go to work like everyone else does.
I don’t. John was a beta male who liked dominate woman. He had no nuts, so he deserves no respect.
Fair enough. Finally meeting a girl that isn't only a self-whipped worshipper but actually has own ideas and a will of her own, so they could both make stuff and make stuff together. Has got to have been pretty nice after being one of the gods on the planet that everyone would just bend to instantly and keep in the shadow of. Nice for him to meet someone who dared to be more than just another fan. (Even if most of us may not like her or most of her ideas about art and life. Still his choice to be with that specific person.) Cool of him to dare to be with someone where none of them are whipped, after all in the band being used to getting their own way with everything without compromises at all.
@@RollingOrmond i hate that i have to agree with you
I always love Paul's Ringo impression. he did one during the Wired Autocomplete interview too lmao
these people are so old and in such good shape, it is starting to become very notable
Paul McCartney swearing? Wow, I’d never thought I’d see it
are you joking? hahaha
He's a man!💪👍😁
@Troy Staunton It's hilarious as i imagine it.🤣
Mate, you ought to listen to the Get Back/Abbey Road outtakes. He swears like a trooper. C-word and everything. Mind you, George is worse.
It's been awhile... But when did Howard Stern become relaxed all of a sudden. Nice clip. Would love to hear in full.
He always does a professional job with his interviews.
Not sure but it was a great interview and I'd watch more if many more of his were like this. Would love to get the lead singer from Rage on with him to explain why in the fuck he isn't back with them haha. Get a legit answer vs the generic we are all too busy one. Rage could sell out an entire tour in an hour if they wanted to.
McCartney's aura.
Jonathan Riojas like 16 years ago.
The link for the full interview is in one of the comments up top. I'll see if I can't find it ,I just saw it.
I love that even after all that… the fame, the wealth, and everything that comes with it… the fighting, etc. They still had the same amount of love and respect for each other! After so many years of being together!
Clearly everyone resented that John wouldn't let Yoko leave the studio. John chose Yoko over The Beatles, that's why they broke up. Like in John Lennon's song "God", he stated "i don't believe in Beatles, i just believe in me... Yoko and me". That's life, so sad😥😔😭
That's what happens when a man needs a domineering woman. His mother was likely the same way.
She might have used sex as a means to control him.
Then he died young.
I think that he did it on purpose to annoy Paul...
I understand that. I was in a rap group (ok, it's not the Beatles lol) but I HATED when my partner would bring his girl to the studio.
"Fuck offfff! Get out of my house! And he did." "We got it back together again. That's families for you." You are right, Paul. Sounds like my family to me too at times, lol.
We need a "Beatles" biopic movie
Anybody with me?
There are plenty out there if you care to look.
fuck a movie..should be a 5 season netflix special. no movie would be able to cover everything.
+silent phantom Backbeat (1994) is enough. The Beatles Anthology documentary (1995) provided so much footage that another biopic would be redundant.
No,we don't. Biopics are pretty much always vapid, pandering and watered down versions of what are generally already well documented subjects. Make your own version of all the information that's out there, not some committee's idea (because that's what a biopic pretty much always is) of a thing or person. It's impossible to put those things in one place and especially when you're talking about something like the Beatles. A 'Beatles' biopic will pretty much be garbage because putting way over a decade into a compelling one and a half hour or so story is a ridiculous idea.
Unless you do like a TV-series, maybe.
They do it's called Backbeat
1:26 is literally Howard Stern telling Paul McCartney what the song he wrote is about.
