- I will walk you through the steps I took to transform and oversized men's polo shirt into a dress that actually fits me. I thrifted this shirt and transformed it into a cute dress. absolutely fabulous I have been hoping somebody would finally post something like this.
I have huge shoulders and a smaller body, so if I want something to fit it has to fit shoulders and be altered.
This saves 95% of the work 😘

Thank you soo much for this video!! I had an oversized polo I wanted to adjust. I love the simplicity. I didn’t want to put darts and other complicated things. Yes, I use 1 cm seam allowance. (Most of the time)
Would like to learn but not sure how you came up with how you drew the line from the waist did you just guess it or how far out did you go
I traced the shirt that I used as a template adding 1 cm for seam allowance.
What width / length of a zigzag stitch do you recommend for these knits please 😊
I have my zigzag stich setting on 2 and 2. It doesn't have to be that wide of a stich, just enough so it can stretch with the fabric.
I always wonder how well these re makes fit whit no sleeve/arms eye front and back.
