I know you for sure, can recognize those hammer skills anyday. Just came back from my hiatus to just casually enjoy the game's combat, for as little lifetime it has left. Cuz saddly the game is honeslty done for imo. It'd take a miracle for this game to come back from its dead status. For all the flaws the game has I sure had my fill of fun from it so I aint complaining.
Is this build your new go-to for hunting or was it made with the intent of speed running Lurid Soulstalker? I just finished making my Hoard Nodachi: Yaksha build similar to yours and I was curious if the build in this video out performs it damage wise.
Nah this was just a build I quickly put on together, GT Nodachi can outperform fire nodachi on certain matchups, this being one of them apparently. Easily got a 1:05 run using a simple GT build / x3 one stroke: fury + x2 poison wielder talismans (poison is nuts on wolf). Only armor change was chest change to grimstalker chest
@@dr.kleimann Gotcha. Is there a combination of armor I could be using for better damage? I'm currently using Garuda Hat (Kemono), Garuda Chest (Kemono), Garuda Gauntlets, Draconic Legs and V.Grimstalker Boots (Kemono). I was thinking V.Grimstalker Helm and V.Grimstalker chest and after watching this, the Brighteye Archer pants. However, I really like Deaf Ears on the Garuda Hat lol
@@BlackShield24 grim helm will deliver more damage on single life thread hunts (single carts), aka all Deep Volatiles. You can easily block start roars using a crate as barrier at the start like I did here. Midhunt roars will be an annoyance tho, but most monsters don't have midhunt roars (golden/stalkers/chicken do have them)
Wouldn't know, but that's just simply a "katakuri cancel" Cancel any attack from the weapon by sumoning a basic katakuri (this action also has s, more than rolls have I believe).
Not long after this vid an update patched the torch gauge gain a bit, so it's no longer possible to get full gauge from torch. It's still the best gauge gain regardless

Why my gauge is not full when i use torch..

Yep. That claw blade nerf makes perfect sense in light of this.
Sadly torch been nerfed so this is impossible to achieve now
