I don’t fault anyone for liking the show. It just wasn’t my kind of series. I am a little annoyed that it was cancelled, but maybe we will get a novel or animated series (doubtful).
They managed to squeeze in so many pieces of 600 years of High Republic information never introduced to live action, and did it well, mostly subtley. The haters should crawl back into their holes, enjoy what they do, ignore what they don't.
Revan didn’t wear a mask because it looked cool. He wore it to revenge the genocide of a race by the Mandalorian, as well as the slaughter of a mandalorian that tried to save that race. The helmet belonged to the latter.
Revan wore the mask after an atrocity of the Mandalorian Wars pushed him to devote himself wholeheartedly to the violence/justice - which is pretty cool if ya ask me
Hi, Alex! A symbiote is a biological life form that lives on another life form. Since midichlorians live in beings, they can be classified as symbiotes. Since the actual genetic material of the symbiote is different than that of their host, even twins shouldn’t have the same number of symbiotes. That would be as odd as twins having the same number of colonies of staph on their skin.
I think you are confusing two different words, symbiote vs. symbiont. Who have the correct, real-world definition of symbiote, but I believe the word used in the show, symbiont, has a whole other meaning - which they haven't fully explained.
@@dramaturge231 Yes, midichlorians do seem like symbiotes. Star Wars never likes to fully explain it's "science". They also have a habit of taking real world vocabulary and tweaking the spelling just to make it more Star Warsy 😁. They will explain what symbionts are whenever it suits their storytelling.
4:00 the real question about Master Torbin is, how did he go from Padawan to Jedi Master in 6 years? For the last 10 years he has been in his meditation.
Maybe he went into the meditation as a knight. Then after years and years of being constantly connected to the force the other Jedi were so impressed by his dedication, they decided to grant him the rank of master and were going to reveal that to him when he came out of it

It seems like it's a thematic, rather than a direct, connection. Vernestra probably failed Qimir in some way which led to his fall to the dark side, like how Luke failed Ben Solo which led to his becoming Kylo. This is also a major theme in Osha's story because Sol's actions on Brendok and his lying to her about it led to her embracing the dark.
In terms of Basil, after a rewatch of the show, it seemed like another case of a character not having all the context. I don't think he saw the fight on Kofar (I could be mistaken). So all he knows is that something went wrong, but not what happened. He could tell something was off with Mae (when she posed as Osha,) but he doesn't have anyone to translate for him after Yord's death. And then Sol all of a sudden stuns Mae. And then he later chases her through the rings. He doesn't seem to know much about what's going on, and he sees a Jedi acting very un-Jedi like. My thoughts on this aren't super organized but that's the type of stuff that came to mind on the rewatch.
Yeah I think it's one of those things we don't necessarily need to know. There's a lot if context missing, taking into account his species, what he knows, and probably tons of other things I can't think of. It's like when in 1977 we heard about the Clone Wars. We didn't know anything about it besides it obviously being an important event that defined some of these characters we were learning about. I'm fine with it.
That and what Sol was doing was borderline suicidal. Crashing through a planetary ring is not good for the health and safety of the ship and its occupants. Since he couldn't fight a Jedi and Sol didn't know Tynnan, sabotaging the ship was actually a pretty reasonable and sane option.
The more important question is what Sol was trying to do to Mae's ship? If he was going to kill her, that's a major change in character motivations from when he had just said that having both Mae and Osha alive was key to proving the force vergence. Going from "I need both you alive" to "I'm going to kill you..." is pretty drastic. I think it's more likely he's trying to recapture her ship with some sort of tractor beam; look how close he gets to her ship. Might have been good to actually tell the audience what is going on when a character has a major change in motivation.
Thank you for this video. It is painful listening to some of these TH-camrs who claim to know everything about Starwars and their ridiculous criticism which can be easily debunk. What I'd like to know is how the Nightsisters can be considered as "not training children" when they clearly raise Force-sensitive children and teach them to use magic(k). I understand why that law was introduced in the context of this story, but it directly goes against what we know of the Nightsisters.
@zerolegacy7821 No one would automatically attribute those deaths to a Sith, though. It's been at least 800 since the last sighting. Jedi could have died in many ways before getting to Sith.
Fire could technically exist in space if there was an oxygen leak, fuel leak and ignition source where the fire was. I doubt it could be as big as the fire shown in The Acolyte, hell I know for a fact it could never be like the fire shown in the show, but while I don't like the show, I will defend that if that fire was over a pipe from the life support system and the fuel lines, it could potentially have provided the oxygen and fuel required to start a small fire. When I say small, I mean very small. This fire could only exist under very specific conditions of a major oxygen and fuel leak next to an ignition source like a sparking wire. Since it's a vacuum, the mixture of fuel and oxygen would dissipate rapidly, so this flame could only exist right at the source where the pressure of oxygen and fuel can mimic the pressure of an atmospheric condition. This leak would need to be major, as to have a concentration that high in the vacuum of space, the ship would need to be losing a lot of oxygen and fuel. The flame would be very small but also very violent as it is rapidly dissipating into the vacuum. The fire displayed in The Acolyte could potentially exist but it would not look like a flame we see on earth, the licks would be faster and more spherical. This could possibly explain the explosions in space if fuel lines and oxygen supplies mixed rapidly upon the destruction of a ship, but still they wouldn't look the way they did in the movies and the fire on the ship in The Acolyte would never look the way it did. Obviously it's star wars and we need to take the physics with a grain of salt, but for those interested in the physics of it, those are the conditions required and the flame you could expect.
It was an electrical fire. The fire hit the panel on the wall that operates the doors. The circuitry for doors would be all throughout the structure. Electrical fires spread inside walls.
No they don't. That is absolutely *not* how electrical fires work. You can even do a (safe) experiment. Get a long piece of wire (say, 20 feet). Wrap one end with paper (doused in WD-40 if you want). Then wrap the other end with paper. Light the paper on one end on fire. The paper on the other end isn't going to burst into flames. The wire on one end will melt a bit. That's it.
@@Cineburk the experiment that you just described is not remotely close to what happened on this show. Your scenario is missing, among other things, the very important element of electricity.
Hi, Alex! How will Vanestra frame Sol for the murders of Indara and Torbin when there were witnesses of Mei at both murder scenes and an official arrest of Osha (when mistaken for Mei)? Did all those Jedi in the series lie for Venestra? And what about the arrest record and prison break record? Why didn’t Quimir’s helmet work against Sol’s lightsaber in the finale?
You're right about the cover-up being terribly easy to uncover. There were tons of witnesses to Sol *not* killing Indara and Torbin. Pretty sure Sol never hit the helmet with his lightsaber.
@@dramaturge231 I think that's what they were showing in the fights in Episode 5. If they hit the helmet or gauntlet, the lightsaber shorted out. Then there's the odd scene in Ep8 where Sol and Qimir lock lightsabers, and Qimir is pulling Sol's lightsaber towards the helmet to short it out. But that means Qimir's lightsaber is on the *other* side, and he could just push the other way and cut off Sol's head.
@@DefaultProphet The part about there being gas lines in the walls. You totally imagined that. I agree it would have been a good explanation to include in the show.
The symbionts are the midichlorians. Normally the dna or equivalent of the midichlorians would be different fro everyone including twins. But Osha and Mae are one person with one set of symbionts (midichlorians) that was split. A symbiont is just a life form that has a symbiotic relationship with another, which is what the midichlorians are. The metal structures that the fire spreads through were full of wires and electronics, which are things that are highly flammable. In the real world fires travel through wires and electronic panels all the time. You have to make specific countermeasures to prevent it like firebreaks that cut off one section from another in the event of a fire.
Ki-Adi Mundi never explicitly learns of the Sith, but he does learn of a dark side user who was trained by another, much more adept dark side user. He may be overconfident and arrogant, but he is also intelligent enough to become a master on the high council. I am not convinced that in the decades he had to investigate and wonder about this dark side user that he never once considered that it may be Sith. His outright refusal to believe the Sith have returned makes little sense when he, in his own lifetime, learns of a powerful dark side user who's identity remains a mystery. With the Acolyte's inclusion of him learning about the existence of Qimir, although not explicit, does make him one of few Jedi who should be curious and sceptical about the return of the Sith, which makes little sense when he is the main Jedi on the high council who outright denies Qui-Gon's claim and implies he finds it ridiculous and unrealistic. He of all people on that council should be the most sceptical given his knowledge of Mae and her mysterious master. His role in The Acolyte could have been filled by any nameless Jedi grunt, so the fact that it was him that found out still feels incredibly careless no matter how hard you try to defend it. End of the day, it was sloppy to include him in this investigation. Just a little side note, I don't care when he was born, that's not the issue.
Yes, that part doesn't make sense, but it's also hard to make sense from the perspective that the Sith are not just people but a philosophy. For example, all the adherents of a particular religion could die, but anyone can pick up the mantle at any time if they find a copy of the sacred text of the religion. (In the case of the Star Wars Universe, to truly pick up the mantle, the person would have to be a force user, but that's just a question of probabilities - it's going to happen at some point. And in some stories, just touching a Sith relic can influence someone towards the dark side.) One might even see the various witches as embodying some of the beliefs of the Sith.
Same thoughts here. The overconfidence is a best explanation - although it is so unclear that keep asking same question: why not a nameless master? Why specifically him?
Symbionts are actually a real biological term. They refer to organisms that are in symbiosis with each other, in other words, they live together in a way that benefits all the organisms (think the little birds eating at the teeth of rhinos). Originally, when the term was mentioned by Qui-Gon, he was referring to how living cells and midi-chlorians live together is symbiosis... here with the twins, IDK, but I think that one cannot live without the other (?)
The fire in space question reminds me of the videos of how there should be no sound in space even though is but if you think about it. Star wars has ships that are alot better and faster and more powerful than ours so they might break the laws of literal space cs of high tech
I actually think Bazil planned his wire-pulling. He knew it would distract Sol and stop him from firing, but it also threw the ship off course. I think Bazil guessed this would happen, which would obviously send their ship into Mae's, stopping her, and then they figure it out from there. I don't think he expected them to crash.
That scene was so strange. Sol has spent over a decade regretting the fact that he couldn’t save May. He is taking May to this planet and apparently needs her to prove the Vergeance (so) of the force. Then she escapes and he is about to shoot her down??? And Bazil, who has no love for her and was fighting against her in previous scenes, wrecks the ship and endangers them all in the process? It’s just a weird, weird sequence. I guess you can say it just shows that Sol is a nutjob who is under the sway of really violent and unpredictable emotions, but I don’t think that’s very satisfying as an explanation either.
@@zerolegacy7821 Well, the characterization of Sol is kind of confusing. Much has been said already about how the Jedi in this series are morally compromised, and Sol is stuck in the middle of that moral fog. It was his impulsiveness that contributed so much to the destruction of the witches and the resulting mess, and May's revenge plot, etc. Yet the actor (I forgot his name) makes the character so likable--he is probably the most likable character in the show, for me. The way that the sequence is set up, he has that targeting reticle which reminded me of any number of sequences where similar reticles are used to blast spaceships out of the sky. We have the fact that Bazil apparently thinks Sol is up to no good and so wrecks the whole ship. The way the sequence is staged makes it seem as if Sol is trying to kill May, and the show ends with the Jedi coming across as pretty nasty and corrupt. Yet... it also feels ambiguous. To me at least, from the way the sequence plays out, it doesn't seem as if Sol is trying to just stun/disable the runaway ship. But perhaps there is some wiggle room for that interpretation. I appreciate your question.
@@zerolegacy7821 I assumed Sol was going to lock on a tractor beam of some sort and retrieve her. If you look at how close his ship gets, it's *way* closer than any ship has ever needed to be to fire. At the very least, the show should have shown him firing a few shots so it's clear what he's trying to do, and then Bazil freaks out that he's shooting at her and pulls the wires.
@@zerolegacy7821 No, the *REAL* question is why did Sol leave the helmet laying on the ground at the end of Episode 5? It's literally laying right there next to dead Jecki and he looks over at her and then walks off. You'd think the lightsaber-nullifying piece of armor that someone who just killed 8 Jedi wore might be a good piece of evidence to have and study. But no, let's just leave that and a bunch of lightsabers laying on the ground where the local jungle folk can come and get them.
Or maybe there's something in-universe that can burn in space. Such materials do exist in reality... I just can't remember what they're called off the top of my head.
Just rewatched episode 3 and learned something, I think about why Mother Anasaya turned into smoke with Mae. It was to keep their secrets from the jedi. Joining the Force, sure. But during the Ascension, which Mae completed, Mother says to her "do u vow UNTO MY DEATH that you (hold all our secrets)?" So the same as why she herself had to go away to keep their secrets, so too did she have to take Mae. Her and Korell talk about how the Jedi wouldn't like how they created the girls. All makes sense to me now. 🤙
Is there a problem with the possession of Kelnacca and the death of the witches? Would they have also died if Kelnacca died in combat with the other Jedi? That seems like a bad idea, so did Indara do something *more* than 'switching off the switch' inside Kelnacca's mind that caused them to die?
That's one of the major plot points that should have been explained. I want to know if Indara even knew that breaking the connection killed all the witches.
I'm gunna be honest. For a long time I thought Qui Gon's line was "virgance" in the force, and was just a thing they made up to describe virgin birth 😅
Yeah about even mauls legends novel confirms it too. In disney it seems like he wasn't an actual sith at first but became one in the clone wars. Then again his story has gaps in disney canon.
I mean, you're not wrong. During Sidious' nighttime conversation with Maul in Phantom Menace, Plagueis was right around the corner, just out of sight. Or at least he was if my memory serves me correctly.
Re: Symbionts: Qui-Gon Jinn explicitly calls midi-chlorians "symbionts," so it seems clear to me that the symbionts that are identical between the twins is the midi-chlorians living in them
First of all, great video. All love. But please allow me to question the take on Vanestra’s cover up. I’ve seen many explanations, but none make sense. If she’s trying to get the Senate off of her and the Order’s back, why would she make the cover up be the ONE thing Senator Rayencourt feared most? Her goal was to keep the Senate at bay, and she did the exact opposite.
Not to mention the coverup falls apart at the most cursory investigation. All Yoda or Rayencourt have to do is check Sol's ship logs, or check to see if he was on Coruscant at the time of any of the murders, or ask the Jedi at Torbin's temple a simple question, or ask anyone at the bar a question, or talk to Bazil, and the whole thing falls apart. It's the worst "cover-up" of all time.
How do you think the Pykes will appear in comparison to their other appearances and their fairly drastic changes in aesthetics and culture? I have guesses for why some questions were not answered. The twins were created with the help of Plagueis, who was there during the fire. Hence the need to keep it secret from the Jedi...being a witch is one thing, but working with a real live Sith to create life...yeah, not gonna fly. Once everything hits the fan, it's Plagueis who destroys the entire fortress, to eliminate the witches. In his eyes, they will not be able any longer to train the twins, so have no further use to him. It's why he's secretly following his apprentice's work in training Mae and later Osha. I'll bet we get even more flashback episodes in Season Two, possible from Plagueis's view, or more likely, from Qimir's. Qimir himself will be every bit as much a victim of Plagueis too. It's one possible explanation for several hints and lines and scenes that were not paid off this season. Too many carefully and deliberately placed clues were not addressed. If there's a Season 2 it will be a continuation of this arc, not fresh adventures.
The issue with Osha and Mae is that life shouldn't be able to be created by someone using the force. As you said, Plagueis and Palpatine attemped to create life and in response the force denied them and instead created Anakin. So if the force denies someone trying to create life using the force, how where Osha and Mae able to be created?
16:27 there were also sparks in the electrical system of the door after the fire. It may also have been shoddy electrical repairs that contributed to the spreads.
What I will say is that the lightsaber duels were fantastic. If I had to speak honestly, at the very core of my being, that's all I really care about when I watch star wars.
Ventress used the term "Jedi scum" in the SW micro series (years ago) among other insults. I never really understood Ventress hatred until the Acolyte series. Also, Mae would used the term "Jedi scum" in an episode.
Exactly. I've mostly stopped watching TH-cam channels which talk about Star Wars because most just do nothing but complain. I enjoyed the Acolyte, but apparently liking something Star Wars is illegal according to a lot of the "fanbase". All that complaining actually has a major negative effect on ones viewing experience, a bit of constructive criticism is fine, but it's gone so far beyond constructive that it's just not sustainable.
By training someone to knighthood and getting promoted. Anakin was 19 when he was knighted, Ahsoka would've become a knight but she had chosen to leave and he became a Council Member by 23. So he went from Padawan to Council member in 4 years. And if he killed Sidious and not Mace, he probably would've become a Master as well.
I am pretty sure the symbiote is refering to midichlorians living within the person, using the real world meaning. And so Osha and Mae have the same midichlorians, or something.
Question: Why is Qimir so in Control and even able to do coherent Conversation when it is always said by the Jedi that all Darksiders, and Sith especially, are controlled by their Rage,Hatred and Fear ? PS: I know the view of the Jedi is not correct...see Darth Bane as an example: He was in Control (when he did not had hie Orbalisc Armor which nearly brought him to kill Zannah) and did not indulge in needles cruellty and Sadism. Yes he was not above killing Children and Innocents when it served a purpose, but he did it not for the sake of it.
I was about to pass Acolyte because of overwhelmingly bad reviews and I'm so glad I didn't. I watched it, really liked it and I'm very happy they made it the way they did.
Most frequently asked acolyte questions: Yord is ok right? He comes from a species that can twist their neck around and make cracky noises, but he is fine right? He gets up and lives a long happy life upstate right? Jeki got better right? She was hurt sure but she got better right? she became a knight then a master and lived out her happy long life before dying a old woman surrounded by friends and padawans who loved her right? RIGHT? Does Ki-Adi-Mundi ever get it right?
I appreciate you answering questions about some of the more divisive things that certain fans have tried to conjure up to get mad about. This show for me is maybe my least favorite of the live action shows but I at least recognize that there are certain things that make no sense in context to the events that this show is making a story out of that fans want to get mad about. I don’t know how you could possibly ever think that this hinders the story of Anakin or his chosen one prophecy it just makes no sense to me.
Anakin was the only one who came into the star wars universe through a virgin birth. There was no father, he was fathered by the force. That makes him special, very special. That makes him unique. The acolyte copied this concept and created a very confusing person (or 2 persons acctually). If someone else is created by the force then Anakin is not that special after all. It's a preety big deal lorewise. It's like making a product for christians and making a copy of Jesus. The target audience would probably be outraged. It's a shame because the star wars universe is full of possibilities for endless original stories. What Disney seems to be doing is copying George Lucas' ideas because they can't seem to come up with original ideas of their own. And they are breaking the lore in the process. Star wars fans are upset about this and rightfully so, but that doesn't really matter. The Acolyte is created for 'new' star wars fans, not the toxic traditional ones after all.
@@vanjahruska5661 lol these characters being born in a semi similar way depending on your definition doesn’t make Anakin not special.
I think you are confusing two different words, symbiote vs. symbiont. Who have the correct, real-world definition of symbiote, but I believe the word used in the show, symbiont, has a whole other meaning - which they haven't fully explained.

i still wonder why they played kylo's theme in episode 5
It seems like it's a thematic, rather than a direct, connection. Vernestra probably failed Qimir in some way which led to his fall to the dark side, like how Luke failed Ben Solo which led to his becoming Kylo. This is also a major theme in Osha's story because Sol's actions on Brendok and his lying to her about it led to her embracing the dark.
In Legends, Plageius was still alive during TPM (until the end), so Maul would've been an Acolyte. I wonder if that remains true in Canon.
Seeing those questions i feel myself more smarter. I mean ,seems people even haven't watched episodes breakdowns at least ,and just asking questions
Good way of looking at it
Yeah I think it's one of those things we don't necessarily need to know.
Or maybe they just used it to further the story and plot without much logic
The more important question is what Sol was trying to do to Mae's ship? If he was going to kill her, that's a major change in character motivations from when he had just said that having both Mae and Osha alive was key to proving the force vergence. Going from "I need both you alive" to "I'm going to kill you..." is pretty drastic. I think it's more likely he's trying to recapture her ship with some sort of tractor beam; look how close he gets to her ship.
Might have been good to actually tell the audience what is going on when a character has a major change in motivation.
Then how do rockets work in space? 3:00

Qimir, yes

@@Cineburk Oh, the lightsaber has to touch the cortosis?
@@dramaturge231 I think that's what they were showing in the fights in Episode 5. If they hit the helmet or gauntlet, the lightsaber shorted out.
Bro, you are getting way too worked up about such a minor character.

That's super reckless and still makes no sense
I loved the inclusion of cortosis, but how did he absorb Osha's stun when his armour is clearly shown to be on his other arm?
@@zerolegacy7821 No, the *REAL* question is why did Sol leave the helmet laying on the ground at the end of Episode 5? It's literally laying right there next to dead Jecki and he looks over at her and then walks off.
And heck there are WAYYYYYY more other space rules that Star Wars has ignored so quit saying things like “camp fire in space” now you have me questioning if you even saw the show because she was just doing maintenance on a ship, not a camp fire
And going back to space rules, this is the Universe in where ships straight up SLOW DOWN IN SPACE when they lose power or are turned off. Hell you can go as early as the Malevolence episodes to see what I mean. Even tho in space ships and objects should keep there top speeds until they make contact with something, hell they even accelerate. Another is how literally ALL OF THE SHIPS are terribly designed for space travel. Not a SINGLE Star Wars ship is good for REAL space travel. Or hell how these ships are generating gravity at ALLLLL is another issue. Another is how lightsabers are weightless and yet ALLLLLL THE CHARACTERS WASTE THIS CONCEPT
Swinging a lightsaber is absolutely WORTHLESS. It’s weightless, you don’t need to generate force with a swing, the most effective fighting style with a saber would be Fencing, not the tripple backflip that Anakin keeps doing
Even the sword master TH-cam video has broken down
This has nothing to do with fire in space but it’s to show you that this is LITERALLY nothing new in Star Wars
@@zerolegacy7821 1. So what if it was made in the 80s? It happened and it’s a part of the lore and it can’t be ignored
2. What an entire ships worth wouldn’t make a difference, your grasping at straws here because it still doesn’t explain the NUMEROUS other cases of fire in space. EVEN AS LATE AS THE CLONE WARS SHOW. A SHOW THAT WAS MADE DURING THE MIDDLE OF 2000
And 3. That still doesn’t write off the prequels and THE CLONE WARS SHOW. both came out in the 2000’s and that’s not even getting into games like battlefront and especially THE FORCE UNLEASHED! Also you completely ignored how Star Wars ignores how awful there ship designs are or even realistic ways to creative gravity. You even ignored how I brought up that ships come to a grinding HALT when they shut down. Even tho space objects stay in movement
And if you want more fire here’s more fire, The battle of Corusant, any episode of the clone wars that has a burning Venator. R2D2 repairing the ship during episode 1 when there escaping Naboo and I could keep going
Great video man, keep up the good work.
I didn’t even realize that was Darth Plagueis but of course it is and I can’t believe I didn’t make that connection

Question: Why is Qimir so in Control and even able to do coherent Conversation when it is always said by the Jedi that all Darksiders, and Sith especially, are controlled by their Rage,Hatred and Fear ?
PS: I know the view of the Jedi is not correct...see Darth Bane as an example: He was in Control (when he did not had hie Orbalisc Armor which nearly brought him to kill Zannah) and did not indulge in needles cruellty and Sadism. Yes he was not above killing Children and Innocents when it served a purpose, but he did it not for the sake of it.
I believe Tenebrous trained Qimir. Plagueis was spying on them because he somehow found out and was trying to assess the situation.
Love these thanks again Alex yay Long form content is returning
This is excellent, thank you! Will definitely be watching your other ones and taking your reading recommendations.
Great job man!
"Jedi murder business". Also good to get explanations from the director and not from, you know, from the show itself.
I love this thumbnail LMAO
Most important question is wtf is Bazil's motivation and reason for all the actions he takes.
I was about to pass Acolyte because of overwhelmingly bad reviews and I'm so glad I didn't. I watched it, really liked it and I'm very happy they made it the way they did.
Most frequently asked acolyte questions:
Yord is ok right?
He’s still the chosen one and the one who brought balance to the force. Stop taking that so personally lmao. His name is never once mentioned in the show so no it doesn’t hinder him.
@@juricadogan3870 thats exactly what I meant haha. It would be funny if it wasn't true.
@@vanjahruska5661 Anakin was created BY the force. The twins were created USING the force. Very different. So you're special Anakin is still very much special.
@@zerolegacy7821 not all things make sense. Just gotta roll with it. Maybe it will alllllll make sense in the future.
"force speed, active!" Ahahahagag
I still don't like bleeding crystal scene. It was super shortcut version of something that should be very important, and it looked kinda cheesy. If they really wanted to show it, they could have waited until the last scene. Rite of passage scene would be so much better than holding hands...
I like it I want more
After she drops the lamp you can see liquid on the floor
You also see sparks implying an electrical fire, which normally move through walls that have electrical currents.
The whole stone castle must have been drenched in oil
@@arrownaut6820 A lot of wood paneling and such on the walls 🙂
@@lunakingsley.7247 That's not how electrical fires work. If I doused an outlet in my house with WD-40 and lit it on fire, it would burn up the outlet and the wall, but it's not like every other outlet in my house would also catch fire.
That is a good take. Learned a lot. So, what do you think about the bad writing, acting and execution? With all this knowledge and backed up by a 180-million budget, we hoped to have a much entertaining series than what was presented. 😢
Thanks for the clarification on some things
I've been respectful about my issues with the show. I don't like it at all, but it has nothing to do with race, gender, or anything of the sort. It never has and never will. People who say that stuff are coping hard and/or trying to paint all of the people who dislike the show or have different views to them with the same brush. There's reasons there are a lot of people badly reviewing the show and it has nothing to do with "review bombing." If you like the show, I'm happy for you. Quit trying to put all these labels on people because they have different views/opinions on it than you. I wouldn't insult someone's intelligence just because they like the show, it's your opinion, and I respect it. I HAVE SPOKEN.
Ps Thanks for the video

Thank you for this positive Acolyte content! Much appreciated!
I think the symbiote is a reference to the midichlorians that live in the cells of all living things.
Re: the fire
I got the sense from the initial fire that it ignited an electrical fire and the electronics were so old and shoddy that it caused a chain reaction. That place was always a death trap
The castle is stone tho
@@arrownaut6820 but not everything in it is stone. Same thing happened in the ASOIAF books with Harrenhal when burned by Dragon Fire because it was all the wood and fabrics all around that caught fire. In this case I think it was a short that traveled throughout the electrical systems and caused all of the equipment to explode
@@imthestein That makes sense. It just visually doesn't seem to be anything that looks flammable in the scene. Maybe they should have put some banners on the walls or something
@@arrownaut6820 yeah, I definitely think they could have done more work to explain some things. I felt it was very up and down for me throughout the season mainly due to them playing keep away with information
@@imthesteinBrother it was a mining facility , I think it's pretty sturdy
In my head canon, even before the acolyte, i imagine a slight oxygen layer within the deflector shields around a ship
@@zerolegacy7821 because the field is only so high. That’s my head canon YOU don’t have to believe it
@@zerolegacy7821 it’s not something i’m going bother arguing with you about. Think what you want to think
Go go Jedi speed run !🏃
00:01 The only question is who the hell green lit this fish-stinking dumpster fire?
Dont forget Young Jedi Adventures. Its goofy but its set in the High Republic.
"I was part of a round table with lesle headland.."
No different than auto magazines and web sites. Write nice things on a platform that is big enough you get early access to say new Porsches in Portugal in February on the F1 track there. Or the wine country in California. A lot of auto "Journalists" don't own cars. They get "Review" vehicles that they use for days up to months. Many times delivered to their front door.
The auto makers will let you diss a previous model if it's being replaced. "The previous 911 while a sublime ride was not without it's issues...." When the same writer at the time praised the previous 911.
Access is everything. Even if not explicitly demanded a certain point of view is expected.
Wait, I thought most everyone arguing for how good the acolyte was are trying to relegate legends to the void? Now you bring galen Marek into this? Well, if you want to use Starkiller as a legitimate character, he is so much more liked than osha and Mae.
“Fire in space”
What do you think the sun is?
The sun undergoes nuclear fusion where hydrogen gets changed to helium under high temperatures and pressures. The result of this nuclear reaction is the release of a lot of energy. And, unlike the burning log, nuclear fusion does not require oxygen. Therefore, the sun is not on fire. Google is such a beautiful thing you should try it sometimes!
A giant nuclear fusion reaction being held together by its own gravity. How does that relate to the fire depicted in Ep1? Are you saying you think the sun burns on oxygen, or that Osha's ship was experiencing a nuclear fusion reaction?
I don't think you understand how physics works... But that's ok 😊
Thanks again, Alex! 🌑
Darth Maul says- "At last WE will reveal OURselves to the jedi. At last WE will have Our revenge." The copium levels are OFF the charts with some of these 'fans'.
Looking forward to that Attack of The Clones video. I've been really enjoying these FAQ videos
