How to Lay a Sandstone Circle

This is a project I recently finished. It was meant to be a circle but, they don't do just the sandstone circle any more so I had to change the design of my drystone wall to fir the paving😤

Thanks this is really helpful. I’m in the middle of my project. Can I ask what mortar mix you used? It looks like you didn’t apply any kind of slurry or anything to the underside of the slabs. I’ve heard it’s beneficial to do so. Would love your advice on this. Thanks very much!

Hi, Thx for your comments. I use a 4-1 mix with a mortar plasticizer and I pre-primed all the paving with SBR. You can use a slurry mix but, I find SBR primer just as effective.
