I’d go an xl or 2xl mate as I’m the same size and wear a 2xl as I like them a little bigger.

What was the rod/reel/line weight and leader weight for the big flatties? Fish there each year but would be crushed with the light gear I run
What are the sizes of the jigheads, swivel, split rings and treble for that flatty setup
1/4oz 8/0 Heavy Gauge
The Swivel was roughly a 30kg rated swivel with spilt rings to match and a 1/0 treble.
Thanks for all the info .. with the heavier leaders and micro guides .. what knots do you use.. does it have to be FG knot .. cheers Steve
We use both FG and improved slim beauty knots for the light tackle stuff. An Albright can also work well.

I'm a Diawa tragic .. love your gear .. but it's getting an easy to tie knot in the wind on the water .. never been able to master the FG .. so with heavier leaders through the small guides I can hear the clunking .. PS love the Infeet rolling cranks .. caught a proper bream .. the other day 38cm .. loving the Diawa jig heads too
What would the cost be for a bait junk set uo like u have? I would do any thing for some that set up❤
