Appreciate the feedback Byron, Saxon goes through the gear he used on the day at the end of the video! Products have now been linked in the description
By far one of the best videos I've seen from you guys - especially for the beginners. A lot of detail and tips in this video that can apply to all lure fishing
This is my local spot, I’ve always been a bait fisher but recently started to try out a few plastics. I’ve got the 2.5 inch grubs like in the vid but I’m unsure what jighead to pair it with I don’t believe I saw the weight or size he was using. I’d be keen to get the same stuff he was using or a selection that would work for that particular spot.
Saxon was using the Bait Junkie Jig heads. Size #1 hook and most likely weights ranging from 1/16, 1/12, 1/20oz daiwafishing.com.au/products/bait-junkie-heavy-wire-jigheads
Hi Daiwa, wondering, will you ever make your own lure scent, I hate the fact everything I use is Daiwa except my scent, stuck with s factor. Please Tom Slater could you let me know. Much appreciated Peter.
Would love it if Daiwa would tag all their products we see in the video. Bag, rods, reel etc.

Love this vid can i ask what jig head size were you using.
Bait Junkie Jig Head 2x Size #1 ranging from 1/16th - 1/6th. Dependant on the tides/current. You want a weight where the soft plastic sinks naturally
is the sugapop mainly meant to be used for topwater or is it designed to be used with plastics and other hardbodies as well?
As I fish alot of land based the bag would be perfect. What bag is that by daiwa?

Daiwa, could you please answer? I'd love to know what soft plastic scent you use or I feel you plan to make one.
Hi Peter,
We are constantly working on new projects and scent is one that we will look into soon.
@@DaiwaAustralia Cheers Daiwa, I'll be looking out for it ! :)
What do you use to carry the second rod with you?
Saxon is placing the rod butt inbetween his back and the sling bag
Anyone know what pliers he is using?
Great video and good tips. However Google earth images are so bloody old, most waterways are totally different to the satellite image.
true, but even then, you get an idea of how currents work and where to look for gutters and washes
@thedonutdiariesfishing972 yeah you're right about that.
Is the sol a 2500d or 2500s
