Awesome breakdown! Those little tweaks to weight can make such a huge difference, especially with changing currents and depths. Fishing Ned rigs in a river has made me painfully aware of that. The Shimano Sedona is a fantastic reel too; I've had them on both my kayak setups this year.
I remember when I first started fishing all I used were paddle tails cause it worked almost everywhere I went . So many lures out there but the basics always work the best
Just started strictly bass fishing this year and paddletail swim baits have quickly become my favorite, best producing lure. I've been using the Keitechs but I'm going to have to try some of these 6th sense in different colors.
Another great video NQ! Noticed you reel with your left hand with the spinning gear and with your right hand with the baitcaster. Any reason, or just the way you have always done it?
I make close to 20 different soft plastics. My 3.2" ripple impact catches me fish in any body of lake or river or ocean I take them to. The only other soft plastic I make that I have caught 20+ species on is a grub. Both stay in my tackle box at all times.
In the video you talk about fishing the swim bait using a bait caster because you can use straight fluorocarbon line. Can you use straight fluorocarbon line on a spinning reel?
No doubt that you know your stuff. Problem is you keep using big words and terminology that us newbies do not know. A dumbed down version would be great. I just dint know enough to understand it all. I will definitely be buying the gear and asking more questions. Thank you
Braid is superior to strait flouro. Why? It's a thinner diameter and cuts the water faster, it has zero stretch, It is more cost effective because braid last at least a whole season and you only need to use rod length leaders of flouro, and flouro cheap enough for fill is generally much lower quality than premium flouro intended as leader. Last but not least if you get snagged you only stretch the leader and brake off the leader where as you will damage your main line with strait mono or braid. 20lb braid has zero issues on any spinning bait caster/ conventional reel. Here we catch Spotted Bay bass ( small mouth on crack ) and mixed in is 20-40lb California Halibut.
So the bait looks like a paddletail, but the video says swimbait. When I look at swimbaits at the store they are huge. What makes a swimbait different from a paddletail?

Thanks for the thoroughly detailed presentation. Very informative! Wow I learned a ton!
Nice run down! Love the divine, but I mostly throw it on the back of the swim jig. Will have to give that 1/4 ounce a try

Most lures catch more fishermen than fish…
@@officialWWM😮😮 really?
@@officialWWMunderrated comment lol
I love the divine swim baits but I primarily use the 2.7 if I’m fishing the river. They definitely last longer than the keitechs too!

I have always done it that way and am not able to switch for some reason
Thanks for details
Finally I found the use for algebra
I've spooled a few of my spinning combos with 10lb mono. I've done away with flouro leaders.

I look like about to bust out in a rap the way im standing up front lol
Fun fact they did a study and bass cant see the difference in chartreuse or white

You sure can.
Yep!
Are you fishing this up stream, or down stream?
Cast upstream and bring it downstream
Do you want to cast into the current so that when you retrieve, your bait is swimming WITH the current?
Correct!
How do you rig it weedless ?
I don’t have a method for that yet
Man ive been throwing those like crazy in sw florida , caught everything but a small mouth and a walleye ? 😂
Might be a little south for that!
I open the gap on my jig hooks.

I will work on that and coming out with some basics of bass fishing videos!
Does that work the same way in the ocean on a bridge
Absolutely!
Only problem with Sixth Sense plastics is they are so soft that need to superglue them to the jig head.
Okay so basically cast and reel cast and reel got it

He already explained why he likes it tho, it sinks
@@MrCalamiteh braid sinks just fine lol I fish 800' no problem. Good flouro leader is about 50$ for 25 yards

It’s a paddle tail swim bait
Paddletail is just a type of swim bait
Swimbait is a very general term and can cover a variety of baits this is a soft plastic one
30000.00 worth of electronics ?
Not as much as you would think!
💤💤💤💤
whoa! you lost alot of weight!
Thank you, 100 pounds!
😮😮😮 NICE WORK!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
