Thats great it worked for you. I have just removed the pivot bolt from an '02 xr400 which was stuck fast. I just tapped a M10 thread in the bolt end of the pivot bolt and inserted a M10 bolt in through a spark plug socket and tighten up the bolt and the pivot bolt will slowly come out. This method seems to exert more pulling power on the seized bolt than bashing from the nut end. Try it yourself as most of the pivot bolts are hollow - with the Honda the hole was already the right size for the M10 tap. It works a treat 😅
That’s cool. I’ve heard of that truck. These bolts on these particular bikes are solid. It was just easier to beat on it with a brass drift and big hammer. Hope I never run into that again, sure wasn’t fun haha!
