1. I am *genuenly* suprised no RPG that I know of hasn't give us monster races along these line You start off as the weakest and simplest iteration , but through leveling and making certain decisions you unlock various potential evolutions and subclasses but lose certain others ( like how the Prince of Darkness class for Demiurge requires you to have a negative karma rating) 2. In D&D on the incredibly rare occasion a *Succubae* would fall in love with a mortal , used their Draining Kiss on them without the intention to hurt them, and said person is able to survive, they would awaken as not just a *True Vampire* but a *Vampire Lord* . Keeping all the benefits but with none of the drawbacks. 3. Jaldabaoth in some fepictions and views of gnosticism is argued to not even be the real creator of the physical world, but rather simply took credit from The One and is keeping humanity from their true potential out of spite. All the while toiling away and trying to create something of his own, only to keep falling short and finding his own creations very flawed in contrast to that of The One's (which acrually fits Demiurge really well) In some interpretations, he is also referred to as Samael, which is often considered Lucifer's name before he became Satan ( NOTE: this is likely just an attempt at Christianisation, so take it with a pinch of salt) 4. Angels , at least in Yggdrasil, have a passive resistance to non-magical attacks Being Angels and the fact that Archangel is a class ,its also possible that classes like Seraphim, similar to Prince of Darkness, required a specific karma rating to access
I remain purplexed and irritated that not only does this not exist in any video game, it is also not present in any tabletops, and most of all that the only other series I've seen do this were "That time I got reincarnated as a Slime" and "So I'm a Spider, so What?" I hold all three of these Monstrous MC anime accountable for my disinterest in elves and Dwarves. It's hard to hold a candle to a pokemon evolution line that you get to pick the next evolution out of a set and can combo with your base classes.
In theory, yes. It won't help him gain any martial arts and skills though and it would require a new worlder to have a spell which he doesn't already know. So potentially Ainz could learn spells from PDL is Ainz were to kill him.
Isn't there racial classes in Dragon as well? I know Sebas' character profile indicates his racial classes are unknown, but Shaltear has referred to Sebas as a Dragon in the novels.
Yeah, but I think most of his revealed classes are monk/fighter related. We know very little about his racial build aside from the fact that he can transform into a dragonlike form where he becomes equivalent in stats to a raid boss, but loses access to his job classes
The race was there however, players couldn't take levels in regular dragons. Others like Dragonoid are fair game. The reason was that in Yggdrasil anyway, dragons had tons of resistances towards basically every damage type and could fly plus some incredible attacks, they were OP. Shalltear's statement is usually taken by fans as a figure of speech or exaggeration although, the theory exists that NPCs didnt have the dragon class restriction or he just has another final form, perhaps a more draconic one.
The name meaning Devil's Sword, very nice. I like it. From what I can tell, its a magic warrior hybrid with the name of Devil and classes of angels. Quite the contradictory build, Tabula would be proud.
Probably from Aninews, this is true however. He did use some cash shop items to make his NPC, others did too likely and we know that at least two NPCs have World Class Items involved in their design.

Wait.... That's what Dark Wisdom does? That's so broken, does that extend to NPC's and NewWorlders too?
In theory, yes. It won't help him gain any martial arts and skills though and it would require a new worlder to have a spell which he doesn't already know. So potentially Ainz could learn spells from PDL is Ainz were to kill him.
And Demiurge is the only confirmed demon who can give a false name and not disappear

Yeah, his race is called DRAGONOID

@@7111mohamed no problem
The real question is which one wins the race
It was never about winning the race but the friends we made along the way.... ...But Overlord won.

I was under the impression that Dark Wisdom was a cash shop thing he bought? Don't remember where I heard that though.
Probably from Aninews, this is true however. He did use some cash shop items to make his NPC, others did too likely and we know that at least two NPCs have World Class Items involved in their design.
Anyone know what Anime that is at 7:29?
Didn't recognize it.
Succubae🤤
The genuine plural term for referring to multiple Succubus, or Albedo individually ;)
