If I break a law of the state I live in, and someone pays my fine, that doesn’t do way with, or abolish that law!! On the contrary, it establishes the importance of that law. In the same way, if our messiah paid our price for sin that doesn’t do away with his law like I used to believe. On the contrary it establishes the importance of it. We don’t keep his laws to be saved. We follow his laws because we are saved. Because it was prophesied that He would write his law on our hearts and minds. That is the new covenant.

All those in the comments taking offense and getting up in arms, making insults, are the ones who don't want to change their lives or how they are living, GOD DOES NOT CHANGE, the laws he out in place, (especially the Sabbath) were meant to worship and glorify him, they all point to the Messiah and "..Are a shadow of things to come"
Its amazing how protestants (as was I) completely MISS that statement is a FUTURE thing and it was spoke approx 30yrs after the cross. Like... duh how do we miss that?
There is not 2 religions separated by a title page. Jesus did not have a denomination. We should live how He lived. People are deceived into thinking Gods commands were only meant for the Jews. The front of the Bible is just as relevant as the New Testament. Before Jesus there was no salvation. People miss that too.
Hebrews 10:1 “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.”
How crazy is it that people use Paul to try to overrule Yeshua? Are you saved through Paul or Yeshua? Thankfully, Paul did not disagree with Yeshua otherwise he must be thrown out as unsound doctrine. If only Paul would have been clear that he is speaking against the oral law, then even the unstudied could understand him. There are two camps: Those who read Paul and believe he's teaching against the Torah and those who read Paul and believe that he is teaching Torah just as Yeshua did. But we don't have to wonder which camp is correct as Peter tells us... He warns us that ignorant people (I'm not calling you ignorant) are misinterpreting Paul unto lawlessness (paraphrasing). He never warned that misunderstanding Paul results in law-keeping. It results in lawlessness. That means anyone who reads Paul and decides that Paul taught against the written Torah, Peter's warning is for you. 2 Peter 3:16-17.
That there is talking about sacrifices, just because we no longer need sacrifices that doesn't mean we no longer have law. STOP TWISTING PAUL'S/SHAUL'S WRITINGS
Are you still making sacrifices for sin because if don't you will die in your sin and be judged accordingly because you did not except the sacrifice that was made for you through Jesus Christ up to you that's what we are here for to make a decision the Lord said all have sinned and come short of the glory of God you need to be saved
Yes, He fulfilled it, alright. He walked it out perfectly as an example for us. Plus, He fulfilled most of the prophesies spoken about Him in the Tanakh. He will be fulfilling the rest of them in the near future. HalleluYah!

Unbelievers leave themselves under the law ,you are right we (believers )are under grace .it is by grace through faith in jesus we are saved not works no one can fulfill the law except Jesus . we are to keep his commandments yes but the law is not what saves us or we all would fail and if we wouldnt fail at keeping it perfectly why would jesus need to come and go through what he did for us . none of us could ever be perfect here and that's why we need Gods grace and mercy.
@@savannah138 It is by grace through faith in Jesus that we are saved. He was the only one who did not sin. Luke 1:6 Also Job "was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil." He did fulfill the law at the cross. That was His words...it is complete...Finished. Man couldn't keep the law; it was a school teacher to bring us to Christ. It is now grace in Christ Jesus through faith of which there is no law of stone, but the Law now fulfilled in our hearts, the Law of Love of God and neighbor. Otherwise, it's not just the 10 commandments. You must keep all 617 laws (depending on who's counting). Remember, break just one, and you are guilty of it all!
exactly! and if it were so, we would still be killing animals and sacrificing them! We would still need to be circumcized, we would still need a high priest.. HE IS OUR HIGH PRIEST to go for us one time a year. none of that is needed anymore! Jesus broke their laws too! he healed on the sabbath, over and over he challenged them, to usher in the SPIRIT of what the law was trying to convey! The LETTER KILLS but the SPIRIT makes alive! Jesus wanted to usher in what God wants written on our hearts! LOVE HIM, LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR as ourself. ALL of the law is fulfilled in that. you do that, you'll be keeping whats necessary! Loving GOD will challenge your morality! It will make your love people! Walk in integrity! ALL OF THAT...
Yeah, this person is Jewish and knows how he could confuse Christians not familiar with Scripture, and especially not mentioning the writings of Apostle Paul regarding baptized Christians not bound by the code of condemnation of the Law!
How can Paul be so adamant against the practice of circumcision in his writings, when it was a fairly major part of the law? Why does he not exalt Sabbath for the gentiles, but say to one a day is special to another each day is the same, let each one be fully convinced in his own mind? It seems to me that Jesus was the reality and the shadows were no longer needed once the reality showed up.
Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" Much of Galatians speaks of the law and grace... I'm learning much as I have started a new walk with Jesus and read my bible, the word of God, and as I understand it, I am saved through grace, not by keeping the law (not saying that the law has no place, but even if saved, we all still sin and fall short of the glory of God...) if I find myself having sinned, I pray for forgiveness and do my best to repent.... All Glory to God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit for that wonderful saving grace, and that his Mercies are new every morning!
Was just having this discussion with my friend, same with the sabbath day God never changed it but the Roman Catholics did. I believe this is what God was talking about when he said they would wonder after the beast. The Ten Commandments should still be followed just as Jesus said. God didn't write it with his finger for nothing. Good job Lex
The catholics are in the bible, their title given to them is "the mother of prostitutes", and also the pope is the beast, the beast is satan in the flesh which imitates the son and the great dragon is satan in the spirit which imitates the father and the catholic church is the bride of satan
John used the same word in his Account: John 15:11 to describe our joy being "filled up" to capacity. Yet I don't hear any Christian teacher claiming that our joy was ABOLISHED. How come? Same word. Great teaching, Lex!
Luke 24:44, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." Jesus is the fulfillment of the law. He is the Lamb without blemish who was sacrificed for your sin, He is the King of Israel, He is the final prophet and our High Priest before God. He is the heavenly reality of what the earthly law pictured. We fulfill the law by entering the new covenant in Christ.

The Lord has been opening my eyes to the lies, and I'm learning so much! I just am confused about which of the laws, how do we differentiate between the 10 commandments vs. the ceremonial law, etc? It is clear that we no longer sacrifice to atone for sin, because of His sacrifice...but how does scripture clarify the ten as opposed to others of God's laws?
@@Ashley-id2cb same, because I keep watching these videos instead of learning from the Holy Spirit , I am being confused. I don't really know who is speaking the truth because both sides sound convincing and are making good points. One thing I'll continue, it is to have faith in Jesus Christ and obey his teachings in the new testament and keep asking the Holy Spirit for guidance when reading. I'm tired of watching youtube videos about whether to keep or not keep the old law because it is confusing. If we keep it , what part of it or is it all 600+ laws which includes the justice and ceremonial laws including the dietary laws? Sounds impossible in the present age, will we still have animal sacrifice and grain offerings? Not wear different fabrics? Not have tattoos? Isn't these for the theocracy of Israel? Aren't we not bound to the laws? Then why would we still follow the old laws and if we do why not all of it? Confusion to the highest order, I'll stick with the Holy Spirit from now on.
I thought the whole purpose of the law was to show our need of a Saviour, because we could never fulfill the law in of our own selves perfectly. Even today, are you saying we are expected to walk out the 600 commandments of the Torah by the power of Jesus Christ in us? Or JEsus fulfilled the law for us and we who are in Jesus, are made perfect by Him? We now have the commandments of God written in our hearts through Jesus, and the greatest one is to love which fulfills all the others the Bible says because that is the Spirit of the Law...not the letter which I am hearing from you is what we are suppose to be doing?
It is not impossible to follow the laws of Yahweh. they were perfectly crafted to be easily followed. many of the commands were just for the priests. also many laws were given to help us stay clean before entering the temple of the Lord. all of those laws can no longer be followed as we have no temple and no priesthood. but when they did exist people were following them and being found righteous. John the Baptists parents for example. Jesus took away the need to sacrifice for Sins, as He is the perfect sacrifice. and He Moved the laws inside us, made it a heart matter more than just a set of laws to follow. When we accept the need of a savior and accept Jesus sacrifice, Yahweh gives us a heart of flesh and fills us with His spirit which then gives us the ability and desire to obey His commands. The more we obey the closer we get to Him. The laws will be written on the hearts of our new bodies in the resurrection so that we will no longer have this earthly struggle of having to teach the laws to each new generation. It is a freeing thing to throw your life into the hands of your creator. To truly say Yes Father, I will obey! nothing like it in the world.
Only the ten commandments did NOT come through Moses. ALL 600 plus laws did, thus Mt. 4:4, 19:17, 22:36-40. Only the ten commandments are good, valid, and holy. Only the ten commandments were heard by the entire 12 tribes, by the voice of God, thus Mt. 4:4, thus at the very end of the Bible, blessed sainthood is of those who keep the commandments of God. Rev. 14:12, 22:14.
@Gee Cruz “old covenant” is not a set of books or laws. The old covenant is simply the blood of animals, as seen in Exodus 24:8 and Hebrews 9 There is nothing hard about resting on the Sabbath, not cooking, not buying or selling. New Covenant is the law being placed on our hearts, does that mean only parts of the law? NO. Jeremiah 31 says YAH (God) that he will write HIS laws in his peoples hearts and minds. And Yahshua(Jesus) said “pray that your flight be not on the Sabbath day” in Matthew 24, so why would he say that if the sabbath was going to be done away? Also Luke 23:56: And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
Hebrews 4:1-11 God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. 2 For this good news-that God has prepared this rest-has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. 3 For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said, “In my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest,’” even though this rest has been ready since he made the world. 4 We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh day: “On the seventh day God rested from all his work.” 5 But in the other passage God said, “They will never enter my place of rest.” 6 So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. 7 So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” 8 Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. 9 So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. 10 For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. 11 So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. So if you think that the commandment to keep the sabbath day holy is about the day, you have not studied your scriptures enough! Colossians 2:16-17 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. I know it feels good to think that you are putting in some effort to earn your salvation, but it’s all a waste of time! We are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. The thief on the cross did not know or practice any of the things being preached here yet when he believed, Christ gave him a pass to paradise! Hebrews 10:16 “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the LORD: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” So trust the Holy Spirit to convict and correct you… not your own understanding! Hebrews 7:11-12 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood-and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood-why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. God bless🙏🏿
Romans 7:6 “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
HE fulfilled it when he died in the cross and said IT IS FINISHED, FINALIZED, FULFILLED. Because no one can perfectly keep every commandment cuz no one is good, every man is a liar, so we NEEDED HIM.
He did not fulfill it to “finish or finalize it” therefore we need not worry, he walked it perfectly because it was a requirement for being the spotless blameless sacrifice that we needed/need, if following it perfectly would have been his purpose why would he need to die, he “followed it” perfectly because he was It, it is his nature as God to simply be that way, he instructs us to do as he did, be set apart as he was set apart, in gratitude and love for his gift, and to love each other as he loves us, and as love me and love each other can be somewhat abstract, what better way to love Him and love each other than the way he literally gave man in scripture, the law that is not some arbitrary set of rules, but the very essence of His holy and righteous nature. He did not say follow these commandments that I have given you that you may be saved, he said follow these commandments that I have given you because you are saved, for in this we know the love of God, the follow his commandments. Following “the Law” doesn’t save no one here is saying it does, “following” the “Law” brings blessings and the greatest blessing is that it is a clear literally black and white blue print for showing our love to Him that loved us first though we weren’t worthy, observing the law doesn’t make us worthy, but he is worthy of all the praise, glory and love that we can consider ourselves blessed to express to the him by doing that which is pleasing to Him because it is in line with His very nature. God bless you

@@jexodustalks Jesus said to "make no covenants (vows)" whatsoever. Since God is not a hypocrite, this implies that The Covenant was never with God The Father in the first place. It was with an entity calling himself "Yahweh, who in Exodus only steals, kills and destroys. "Yahweh" never spoke of having a Son and Jesus never called his Father "Yahweh." Jesus came to free us from "Yahweh" and his Covenant, not by abolishing it through force, but by fulfilling its (impossible) conditions and nevertheless suffering of the curses in it upon himself (being hung upon a pole at the crucifixion), thus making "Yahweh" in breach of Covenant and therefore freeing Israel from its onerous, odious and accursed Law (which includes things like, or example, stoning people to death for picking up a stick on a Saturday)

I used to teach this as a leader in the Black Hebrew Israelite movement. It is a wrong interpretation. The Holy Spirit will guide you after Ephesians 2:8-10 occurs. Legalists will run into many problems in the NT, such as Gal 3:10 and James 2:10. You can not put new wine into old wine skins. Christ fulfilled the Law (Deut 18) and Prophecies of his death and resurrection (Isaiah etc). Luke 24:45-49
Very brave choice of topics. Totally agree. If you are willing to let the bible translate itself and throw out any denominational or dogmatic preconceptions, all other scripture where Christ is speaking are in total agreement with this understanding of his position on the status of the law. Have been saying this for years. Not what many Christians want to hear nowadays though unfortunately. This interpretation has brought about the hyper-grace position in it's defense as an antithesis to the alternative interpretation - once saved always saved. In fact, this has been the understanding by most of this passage/concept until recent human history. This is my $.02 worth on this topic anyways...
Are you observing all the 613 laws from the Old Testament? Because if you are not, you are in trouble! You have chosen to be saved by the law… ensure to observe it 💯. There’s a reason why Moses did not enter the promised land… the law cannot save you! The Israelites needed Joshua (Yeshua) who represents Faith and grace, to enter the promised land. @@unlearnthelies 21 Tell me, you who want to be under the law,are you not aware of what the law says?22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. 23 His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise. 24 These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar.25 Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. 26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. 27 For it is written: “Be glad, barren woman, you who never bore a child; shout for joy and cry aloud, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband.”[e] 28 Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise. 29 At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. 30 But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”[f]31 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.
@@unlearnthelies I see that you are an awesome man of God; making strides for the faith, but I also see that you hold on to the legalistic system of the law. I understand your reasoning, after all the bible does say that "If you love me you will keep my commandments", but there is more to it. If you have the time I suggest reading the book of Galatians all the way through in one sitting. It's only six chapters and it tackles the subject of Christians keeping the law. I think it will be a very fruitful study. God bless
Excellent confrontation of antinomian or anti-Law heresy. While the Law does not make us righteous, keeping these commandments gives us discipline for Growth!!
I love this channel and unlearned so many errors that are taught in the churches today. I learned so much from you, Lex. But let's not forget that under the new covenant We are to worship God in spirit and truth. Christ has fulfilled all the law and the command he gave his disciples is to love God with everything they have and love your neighbors as yourself. Love is the fulfillment of the law for a believer. Listen and obey Jesus words. He said his words are spirit and life. Futhermore, since we do have this great being in us, the Holy Spirit, we are to allow him to make us holy. He is far better than the law, being God himself in us. He WILL NOT lead us into sin but make us holy. He will do it. God has and is changing me from the inside which is reflected in my actions. I don't follow the law and I don't live in sin. God has given me new desires in that I do not desire to do sin. Anyone that teaches people to sin (which is a violation of the law) should not be listened to. Many people place more emphasis on the Law of Moses than following the Spirit and Jesus Christ. Who are we to follow: Moses or Christ. Furthermore this is what is written when God gave the law to Moses to just ISRAEL at that time. Deuteronomy 5:2-4 ESV The LORD our God made a covenant with US (Israel) in Horeb. [3] Not with our FATHERS (or the world for that matter) did the LORD make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here alive today. [4] The LORD spoke with you face to face at the mountain, out of the midst of the fire ***Note, this was a different agreement he gave then the one he gave to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Those in the book of Genesis and Job were saved apart from the law of Moses and so are we today if we have faith and obey God through Jesus only. Reading the book of Galatians has freed me. This book expressingly says Galatians 2:21 ESV I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. Galatians 2:16 ESV yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. This is what it says about new covenant believers in Hebrews Hebrews 8:8-10,13 ESV For he finds fault with them when he says: "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, [9] not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord. [10] For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [13] In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. ***Note: Now he says this Covenant is not like the one he gave Moses. I hope I didn't cause offense. Please humblily consider what I wrote. I wish everyone well on this journey of learning about our Lord Jesus and worshipping him in truth.
I really appreciate all your videos, but there is one topic I have not yet seen you cover. I have read Paul's writings about circumcision and I still do not feel like I understand why this part of the Law is no longer required. How does that jive with "not one jot or one tittle... will pass from the law"?
Les, really appreciate your videos, as I was listening to your video, it one thing that I do, when I try to share with folks, as that I say, that Jesus kept all the law that was written of Him. For He was not a farmer, He was not a woman, He was not a priest, so there's are laws that did not apply to Him, but yet He did keep and kept all that was written of Him. But as a community we can keep the majority of them as they apply to the individuals, and in their Community's. A big shout out to you from Gettysburg PA, again thank you very much for your videos, and you're really encouragement to the body of Messiah.
Amen to that. Hence the need for Yeshua. If there's no Torah then we're all perfect and have no need for redemption. Nonsense. The problem described in James 2:10 is not solved by removing God's perfect Torah. It's solved by Yeshua. And what a great chapter you chose. Read it till the end. Faith without works is dead.
Context also said our righteousness needs to exceed that of the pharisees and the scribes. How do you suppose such a standard of righteousness is achieved? Through perfectly obeying the 10 commandments? The fact that no one can attain to it is the perfect evidence that this passage is not commanding believers to fulfill the law just as Jesus did, but to abandon all pretensions to righteousness and trust solely in the finished work of Christ, that is his fulfillment of the moral Law and perfect obedience to God. Christians do not obey the 10 Commandments like it is a demand imposed to us by God, but live out the purpose by which the law was given, that is to love. A mother does not need a commandment to love and care for her newborn son, it is accomplished naturally through her love and desires for the best of her child. Likewise Christians under the new covenant are not bound to 10 commandments, we are bound to the holy spirit who transforms our wills to conform to the desires of a new creation, to live out the love and life that is through Faith in Christ. Heart Transformation through Faith is the New Covenant. Behavioral modification through dead works is the Old Covenant. Learn to rightly divide the word.
I understand it as meaning I did not come to attack (destroy) the law but to complete (fulfil). It was prophesied that Christ was bringing a law (Is 42;4).
@@weobeyjesus4565 the law was indeed fulfilled by Christ since he is the only one righteous enough to do so..he paid the debt that we are unable to pay and redeemed us from the curse of the law..we are no longer under the law of Moses..the law that was prophesied and which was to come in our new covenant with God is faith since it is by grace that we are saved through this gift of faith..to follow the law of Moses is to reject what Christ did for us on the cross..if we are busy trying to keep the law then how can we follow Jesus..it is not Gods will that we follow the law..we are to follow our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ..we are to walk in the Spirit and do Gods will, God bless you.
Im assuming you’re referring to the Law of Moses. Paul’s letters make this very clear, I highly recommend everyone read them for themselves. When you keep all Scripture in context everything makes sense and coincides. Paul clearly says in Romans that even Abraham was made righteous through his faith and not by following the law of Moses. No one would be saved based on following the law of Moses so it is important to make that clear, especially to new believers. So that they are encouraged instead of discouraged. This is also reiterated in Acts 15:10 “Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?” No one was or is able to keep the law of Moses to 100% fulfillment, which is what God demands, except for Jesus Christ. Is the law of Moses still in existence, of course. But it serves as a reminder of our desperate need for faith in Jesus Christ. Because no matter how hard ANYONE tries, they will not fulfill the law of Moses. James 2:10 “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. “ It is impossible for us to be made righteous by our own doings, we MUST have faith in Jesus Christ. This is meant to encourage us, so that we can go out and spread the good news of Christs’ sacrifice for us and the fact that we can depend on Him. And give people a message of hope, so that they turn away from their lives of sin knowing that there is hope in Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear about the principles and guidelines a Christian should live by, the 10 commandments, among many other moral principles, etc. But salvation is through Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. I pray that we all begin to focus more on those unbelievers that are lost in the world and use our knowledge and wisdom to bring them to Christ, instead of spending time and energy arguing with one another. I love you all HalleluYah, and God bless.
Gotta realize that to think Christ was doing away with any of the law except blood shed to seal the covenant is non sense and something is being taken outta context.
Thank you for this video, from reading the bible itself I really don't believe the Law of Moses is done away with, when I keep reading it's as if the Lord points out a new thing for me to understand and follow, I recently started wearing fringes and it's a joy! I have heard a lot of people teaching contrary to this and saying its the law of moses that is done away with and not the 10 Commandments, and whilst I wholeheartedly agree we must keep the 10 Commandments I do not for 1 moment believe the Law of Moses is done away with!
There’s so much i want to say i don’t think typing will enable me say it all but let me just try to summarise. The old testament law is divided into 3; the moral law (the ten commandments), the dietery law and the ceremonial law. The moral law is still very applicable to us today because it reflects the person and character of God, which we need to emulate so that we are perfect like our father in heaven. On the other hand, the dietery law and ceremonial law is no longer applicable to us and that’s why Jesus okayed the eating of any food, saying “Nothing that enters your body can make you unclean, it’s that which comes from your heart that makes one unclean”. Same thing applies for the ceremonial law… when Jesus was confronted by the Jewish leaders regarding the issue of healing on the sabbath (which was considered work as per the law), He told them that he was the Lord of the sabbath! In Mark 2:27 It say the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath. Hebrews 4 gives better insight into the whole sabbath concept. Study it please. Colossians 2:16-17 Says; Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.” Please read Colossians 2:16-23 to get a clearer picture. God bless 🙏🏿

@@manonleyaert7909 The Bible is the best commentary on the Bible… I will send you to the book of Hebrews to acquaint yourself with the sabbath and what it means… Also, as you read the Bible, I implore you to keep in mind two very key facts; 1: The Old Testament was a covenant between God and the Jewish people. 2: The New Testament is a covenant between God and the church (the body of Christ) so in which category do you fall??🤔 When God made a covenant with the Jews, sometimes He added the phrase “and it shall be forever”… and I understand that these things are confusing sometimes, but for clarity on what those covenants mean, please study the New Testament and ask God for wisdom to understand what you are reading.
Many of those old commandments aren’t that hard to follow for the average Joe. Since we aren’t in Israel anymore, and neither is the temple or any Levite priests. We also have to keep in mind that some of the things written as law, actually is instructions for priests on rituals.
How many other pastors preach the opposite so they can win the trust of their followers by making them believe they are saved no matter what. Making them feel whole in their faith, yet they are deceived. Thinking sinning is part of normal Christianity and saying God's name right before you die will save you. Wrong... Thanks again for clearing that up.
It didn't take the enemy long to creep in and deceive the masses. But Yeshua knew it would be so all along: For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and FEW FIND IT. Matthew 7:14
The mistake many make when they realize the law is still in effect is to go and try to observe it all. That we can't, nor did Jesus. When Jesus came as a child of God He kept the laws given to the children. Jesus didn't come as king, priest, or judge, but the Son of God and kept the laws accordingly. Many need to realize God does not expect us to do all the laws of the O.T., but we submit to the authorities He placed over us. Remember Jesus told us we would be as children to enter into the Kingdom. Good video Lex.
@@bobbi2235 Did Jesus not submit to the current king? Did He not submit to the current high priest? Yes He did; He didn't take over either job while in the flesh. We have learned that Jesus is now our High Priest, so we don't need to follow anyone but Jesus when it comes to the Priesthood. Although it is interesting to read what others see through Scripture. Look at the Old Testament Laws. Most of the laws do say 'speak unto the children of Israel.' But there are a few that are aimed to a specific group/person. Do we need to know how to sacrifice any of the offerings to God? No, because we are children of Israel, not the priests that made the offerings. We are to submit to those authorities that God placed above us. That doesn't mean blindly, or else David sinned when he didn't allow Saul to assassinate him. People are getting tired of Scriptures being thrown at them. Maybe if we shared some of what we see through Scriptures, we might learn from them instead of memorizing them. Take what one will from it, it really only matters to the one reading, each man has his own decision.
@@bobbi2235 Where does it say that Jesus kept all of the Law? All we can remember is the fact that Jesus was sinless and Righteous. Here's the thing: if you are not a king, you do not have to follow the laws pertaining to a king. Same thing with the priesthood. And most of the priesthood laws were only in effect for those between the ages of 30-50. Think of it this way. If you do not have a car, do you have to follow the laws pertaining to car insurance? Jesus came as a child to be an example to the children of God. Now, Jesus did exist before He came as man, and He did keep the Laws at that time as well. This is why our God is better than most of the other gods ever worshiped. He follows His own Law. We aren't denying that Jesus kept all of the Law. We are saying that He kept only the Laws that the children were to do as our example.
God's Warriors the Bible says, He kept His Fathers law! He never broke one law. Jesus didn’t come as a king, He came being as a man, and was tempted as we are tempted, but never broke the law in anyway. Jesus was 30 yrs old when He started His ministry. He was cut off 3 1/2 yrs later.
Now my question is which law we should observe? This the thing that many people never really talk about into the level of full understanding. Do i have to obey the law in the book of Moses? What commandments Yeshua was talking about?

Reading out of the 4 gospels of the Apostles is still in the Old Testament Law. We as Gentiles must live in Grace by Faith. Gal 3:11. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. It is impossible to keep the Law. The Law is only there to show us how sinful we are and to show us we need a savior. If we could keep the Law we wouldn't need a savior. I am so thankful that Jesus forgives me and calls me His child even when I mess up and break the Law. What an amazing God He is.
Not impossible. All those chosen by God walked with God, meaning the where without sin. Even Job didn’t sway from the law with all that happened to him. The Saviour is our blood sacrifice so we don’t need to have animal sacrifices. We ask Jesus for forgiveness and once clean by his blood, what is stopping you from keeping the law? Nothing! You can die righteous by keeping his words, fallowing his example, and if you should fall, try again and start over. Laws by themselves can’t grant access to heaven but neither can just believing he is Saviour. Can you become a doctor without proof of your dedication and knowledge to the field? It is clear in the new testament that we are no longer under the law of the old covenant..we are now under a new covenant since the coming of Christ..there is plenty of scripture to prove this..here are just a few.. "Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." (Romans 10:4) (NIV) Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. (Galatians 3:23-25) (NIV) "by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace." (Ephesians 2:15) (NIV) "do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." (Mathew 5:17) (NIV) The old law still exists..it hasnt been abolished..it is still written but it has been fulfilled, satisfied, culminated by Christ..we are to follow Christ not the law..it is important to look into the meaning of words such as fulfill, culmination..set aside for example when used in law means to anul or negate a court order or judgement by another court order. It is important to have a look what the new covenant is and what it means..there is plenty of scripture to cover it and plenty of articles to help explain its meaning..the law was fit for a time and purpose until the coming of Jesus Christ
So why in Revelation 22:14 (the last book and ALSO in the new testament) that it states that a person will be in the tree of life and will enter the gates of Heaven if he keeps His commandments. What is Elohim to judge if there are no commandments. How can you have true judgement without law? What will be the criteria? This is why Yashua says in John 14:15 that if you love Him, keep His commandments. No law simply means that sin is done away with as well and we can do whatever we want without judgement because there is no law anymore. Doesnt make sense right?
@@wrightrrt86 The word "commandments" (Greek - entolē) literally means God's "authoritative prescription." Under the Old Covenant it was the Law of Moses, designated for a physical nation. Under the New Covenant it is the "Spirit" and "Life" of the words of Jesus (ie. GRACE) designated for a spiritual people. Remember Jesus said... Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Grace is God's divine influence upon the heart (not "unmerited favour" as the false churches teach) and when we yield to it wholeheartedly (faith) then the righteousness of God is fulfilled in us by the Holy Spirit. That's how it works. When people define "commandments" s being the "letter" especially when they focus on the Law of Moses, then they are forcing the minds eye to be looking carnally downward upon the things of this world as establishing righteousness. Our eyes need to be focused upwards to the Spirit of God, in which we are to abide and walk and in doing so we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. We don't lie, cheat, steal, murder, commit adultery, etc. because it is prohibited in the Law, no, rather we don't do those things because we are established in the Spirit of love and love works no ill. Thus the standard under the New Covenant is GREATER than that under the Old Covenant. Embrace Jesus Christ and the Spirit of His life and enjoy the liberty that comes with it, not liberty from righteousness, rather liberty from external conformity to establish righteousness to the freedom of inward established love through the Spirit. Scott.
@@Skinski7 _"(...) forcing the minds eye to be looking carnally downward upon the things of this world as establishing righteousness (...)"_ God created the world, and it was good. @@Skinski7 Having the Comforter aka the Holy Spirit should include doing the laws, anything other is rejecting the law. The gift that Yashua gave us. What's the point of judging us all in the end times? No one has yet to answer the question. That means that not only the law is done away with but sin is too and WE ALL know that this is not true.
Adam Brooks You have ironically defeated your own argument using Romans 10:4 as an argument, especially the NIV's terrible translation. The context of the word "end/culmination" in the Greek is _telos_, meaning "aim", "purpose", or "goal". While ppl who use this verse might believe and claim Romans 10:4 is proof Jesus ended God's laws, it's actually saying the exact opposite: that Christ became the standard by following God's laws the way they were intended to be followed, and therefore those who claim to be His followers were to do the same. Paul leaves a hidden message in Romans 8:6 when he says the carnal mind opposes God's laws. Not only is it an indictment on the unconverted who outright refuse to care about them, but it's also an indictment on believers who try to reason their way around obeying them. Contrary to your summation to what the new covenant is about, it's actually about God distributing His power to ppl who will desire to keep His laws (Jeremiah 31:33) and that we have an eternal High Priest in Jesus who will always intercede for us when we stumble. Jesus was absolutely clear when He told the rich man in Matthew 19:17 that obeying God's laws is how a Christian gets eternal life, not by merely paying lip service to His existence. Thousands of ppl believed He was the Son of God, yet He only had 120 actual followers by the time He died.
Romans chapter 8 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Note -"fulfilled in US"
where do christians get the idea that the law is strictly limited to a framework of a criminal or penal codes? that is such a small area of law. the majority of the time courts are settling disputes, interpreting contracts, probating estates, etc. it's so simple. while you are fixated on who's hollier than the next, you will completely miss the point of legal fulfillment. and that's why the concept of the Gospel of the Kingdom remains so alien and mysterious to christians when it is so simple. Rev chapter 5, when the angel hands the sealed scroll to Yeshua, that scroll is the title of ownership, the deed to the Kingdom of Heaven. Only He is worthy to open it because he paid for it with His blood, the same blood he used to make us.
In the Jerusalem Council documented in Acts, they decided that the Mosaic Law in its entirety never applied to the Gentiles. They affirmed only 4 commands from it that do. Galatians teaches that the Law is replaced with the Law of Christ. You have to read all 4 gospels to understand what that is. Many commands from the Law were actually elevated, a new commandment was given, advice on following the intent instead of the letter of the law, and the heart of the law was summed up in 2 of its commands (Sh’ma from Dueteronomy and golden rule from Leviticus).
Galatians 3:13 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”

He did fulfill the law at the cross.
Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
Much of Galatians speaks of the law and grace... All Glory to God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit for that wonderful saving grace, and that his Mercies are new every morning!

Excellent teaching! Very clear and understandable! Blessings Brother!
Right you are
It is not impossible to follow the laws of Yahweh. they were perfectly crafted to be easily followed. many of the commands were just for the priests. also many laws were given to help us stay clean before entering the temple of the Lord. all of those laws can no longer be followed as we have no temple and no priesthood.
but when they did exist people were following them and being found righteous.
ALL 600 plus laws did, thus
Mt.
This is a correct teaching. May this video be blessed and seen by the many that need to see it.
Finally, someone that knows what he's talking about. He read the bible not only that he understand what he read. AMAZING THANK YOU.
KEEP THE SABBATH DAY HOLY!
@Gee Cruz “old covenant” is not a set of books or laws. The old covenant is simply the blood of animals, as seen in
Exodus 24:8 and Hebrews 9
There is nothing hard about resting on the Sabbath, not cooking, not buying or selling.
Also Luke 23:56:
And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
Hebrews 4:1-11
God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it.
4 We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh day: “On the seventh day God rested from all his work.”
5 But in the other passage God said, “They will never enter my place of rest.”
6 So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God.
7 So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.”
8 Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come.
Colossians 2:16-17
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
Hebrews 10:16
“This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the LORD: I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” So trust the Holy Spirit to convict and correct you… not your own understanding!
Hebrews 7:11-12
If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood-and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood-why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also.

HE fulfilled it when he died in the cross and said IT IS FINISHED, FINALIZED, FULFILLED. Because no one can perfectly keep every commandment cuz no one is good, every man is a liar, so we NEEDED HIM.
How can we trust what you are saying right now. You are a liar
It shall not end until heaven and earth passes.. how simple was it for you to read just what you wanted instead of what Jesus himself said.
God bless you
Jesus didn't fulfill all the laws

When you fulfill a contract/covenant, its legal force is abolished, like when after you've paid off the mortgage, there is no more mortgage or contract that has any effect
You're using the word out of context and that's just how so msny others do. Fulfillment he came to do them in full, not partly, not some.. yet here you are denying and taking things how your tickled ears wanted to be. Heaven and earth hasn't ended, so the verse shows you clearly.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the mysteries of his word, you will be freed!!

27 For it is written:
“Be glad, barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
shout for joy and cry aloud,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband.”[e]
28 Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise.

Deuteronomy 5:2-4 ESV
The LORD our God made a covenant with US (Israel) in Horeb. [3] Not with our FATHERS (or the world for that matter) did the LORD make this covenant, but with us, who are all of us here alive today. [4] The LORD spoke with you face to face at the mountain, out of the midst of the fire
***Note, this was a different agreement he gave then the one he gave to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Those in the book of Genesis and Job were saved apart from the law of Moses and so are we today if we have faith and obey God through Jesus only.
Reading the book of Galatians has freed me. This book expressingly says
Galatians 2:21 ESV
I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
Galatians 2:16 ESV
yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
This is what it says about new covenant believers in Hebrews
Hebrews 8:8-10,13 ESV
For he finds fault with them when he says: "Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, [9] not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.

He is the perfect role model, by which we should follow. Follow the Commandments.
You explained it perfectly!
A big shout out to you from Gettysburg PA,

Thanks for the teaching, Lex. God bless.

God bless you. Some Christians just like to complicate things after Christ has made it easy
Omgosh, I was literally going bonkers trying to figure this out for the past few days, thank you for making it clear!
I understand it as meaning I did not come to attack (destroy) the law but to complete (fulfil). It was prophesied that Christ was bringing a law (Is 42;4).
... and that he would exalt the law and make it honourable (Is 42;21).
This is the truth about the law.

Colossians 2:16-17 Says;
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.” Please read Colossians 2:16-23 to get a clearer picture.

Thanks so much this video this was a huge discussion in my home over the past to weeks.
Sincere question here: what is considered The Law? Is it just the 10 commandments? Or is it all of the hundreds of OT commandments?
He did a good job of avoiding the primary point of contention on this discussion. Everyone disobeys the law if were talking 613 commandments.
God's Warriors wow, where did you get that information, sounds like you added and took away to the scriptures
God's Warriors children are humble and so forgiving, that’s what we have to be to enter into heaven! Jesus said He kept His Fathers law, all of it!

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

.Paul followed the Torah (in Hebrew would mean instruction or teaching) through the help of the Holy Spirit (Romans 7:22).
Paul did not teach people to observe the law in order to be saved or justified.
That was not the purpose of the law.
He taught them to observe the law in order to honor God as they walked out the Christian life in the footsteps of their Lord Jesus.
.
Here Are Examples Of Paul Keeping Torah:
* Circumcised Timothy (Acts 16:1-3)
* Took the nazarite vow (Acts 18:18; 21:17-26)
* Taught and observed Gods holy days such as:
* Passover (Acts 20:6; 1Cor. 5:6-8; 11:17-34)
* Shavuot (Pentecost) (Acts 20:16; 1Cor. 16:8)
* Fasting on Yom Kippur (Acts 27:9)

_One example of Paul's words. Galatians __5:14_
Galatians 5:14 For *all the law is fulfilled in one word,* even in this; *Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.*
_Another example of Paul's words. Romans 13:9-10_
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet;
and *if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.*
_But _*_FIRST_*_ note Jesus' teaching about the Holy Spirit;_
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 14:25 *These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.*
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is *the Holy Ghost,* whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things,
*and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.*
_(The words Jesus spoke while he was yet present (on the earth and what he spoke unto his disciples) are brought to remembrance by the Holy Spirit.)_
_Now let us bring to remembrance that _*_Jesus taught two great commandments;_*
Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 *This is the first and great commandment.*
Matthew 22:39 *And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.*
Matthew 22:40 *On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.*

_(2) Jesus taught the second great commandment is to love thy neighbour [...]_
_However Paul does not bring the first great commandment to love the Lord thy God [...] to remembrance._
_Paul only brings the second great commandment to remembrance; to love thy neighbour [...]._
_Paul goes further to say Romans 13:9 ..."if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."_
_...love thy neighbor... is the second (2) great commandments taught by Jesus. So, yes there is another commandment taught by Jesus. (the First Great commandment)_
_...love the Lord thy God... which is not summed up in the second, which is ...love thy neighbor..._
Matthew 22:40 *On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.*
_Paul makes a great error by not bringing to remembrance the words Jesus spoke while yet present with his disciples._
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is *the Holy Ghost,* whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things,
*and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.*

It is impossible to keep the Law. The Law is only there to show us how sinful we are and to show us we need a savior. If we could keep the Law we wouldn't need a savior. I am so thankful that Jesus forgives me and calls me His child even when I mess up and break the Law. What an amazing God He is.
It's not impossible. Tough but not impossible.
God demands proof by obeying and Jesus will wash clean if sincere in the heart and Holy Spirit guides you.
Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
@@KeepingWatch95 I do agree with those versus and perfection and being sinless is something we should strive for but no matter how hard I try I am going to mess up. When I do I confess it to God and He forgives me. Christ's power is made perfect in my weakness and my failings remind me how much I need a savior. This is a tricky subject but I am not going to get down on myself for messing up and I will not let Satan the condemnor bring me down. God's grace is sufficient for me.

Luke 17:4 *And if he* trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again *to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.*
Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Luke 24:48 And ye are witnesses of these things.
Religions of men shall all disappear but the Laws of ELOHIM in HIS kingdom in heaven and on earth shall stand forever.
It is clear in the new testament that we are no longer under the law of the old covenant..we are now under a new covenant since the coming of Christ..there is plenty of scripture to prove this..here are just a few..
"Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." (Romans 10:4) (NIV)
Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. (Galatians 3:23-25) (NIV)
"by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace." (Ephesians 2:15) (NIV)
"do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." (Mathew 5:17) (NIV)
The old law still exists..it hasnt been abolished..it is still written but it has been fulfilled, satisfied, culminated by Christ..we are to follow Christ not the law..it is important to look into the meaning of words such as fulfill, culmination..set aside for example when used in law means to anul or negate a court order or judgement by another court order.

_"(...) forcing the minds eye to be looking carnally downward upon the things of this world as establishing righteousness (...)"_
God created the world, and it was good. God's law defines sin, so that sin may be avoided by his creation - and sin _must_ be avoided, for through sin was the formerly perfect world corrupted. Through obedience sin is purged, and the sinner forgiven. Disobedience is sin, sin is death, and death is the manifest corruption of the world. Choose life.
Romans chapter 8
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Note -"fulfilled in US"
GREAT WORD SIR, THIS IS THE TRUTH OF GOD.
What I noticed is people don’t like to follow the law because it takes discipline and lord knows we all need discipline
where do christians get the idea that the law is strictly limited to a framework of a criminal or penal codes? that is such a small area of law. the majority of the time courts are settling disputes, interpreting contracts, probating estates, etc.
it's so simple. while you are fixated on who's hollier than the next, you will completely miss the point of legal fulfillment. and that's why the concept of the Gospel of the Kingdom remains so alien and mysterious to christians when it is so simple.
Excellent job Lex!
