Hey guys,
Today I'll show you how to sublimate on 100% cotton shirt. No glitter HTV needed! After watching this video you'll be able to sublimate on cotton and dark colored shirts you normally wouldn't be able to. Thanks for watching.

so what things i need to buy to use my same printer and sublimation paper to print on cotton tshirts? i mean how that vinyl work with sublimation?
Hey. Great questions. So quick answer is you can’t sublimate directly onto cotton. Which is why ppl sub on glitter htv or other htv and put that onto the cotton shirt. You also found my channel just in time as there’s a sublimation camp coming up that can answer the many questions you may have and help you find alternative solutions.

This was just a regular cotton shirt.
What was the paper called that you put on top of the image after you taped it and it was on the heat press. That protective paper stuff.
Butcher paper. It protects the press from any blowout that could transfer to other projects.
Love the design. And this technique! Can you do this on colored shirts? We're can I purchase the design?

You have to cut the white vinyl first with the shape of the design you are going to sublimate (press it) and then you line the design with the vinyl (press it)

Top tool bar and hit flip. You can’t flip text though only images.

Png, but it doesn’t really matter.

you probably ratchet and use ratchet words like cappin or whatever bs it is.
How does it wash? Does it stay on
5 washes and all good so far. I also hang dry.
Can you tell me what print settings and ink you use?
I use Cosmos ink. Printer settings are a little difficult because they vary for each computer and printer

You can, it just won’t be vibrant and will wash out

Yes.
I have sublimated on cotton and they always fade.Can you give me some feed back?
Sublimation won’t last in cotton because there’s no polyester. Sublimation bonds to polyester which is why it becomes permanent.
