I just wanted to give you props for this video. I am 44yo and started in the 80's Sydney Australia and was lucky enough to join some very well respected artists along my journey. This video is a great example of respect , admiration, transparency and visual appreciation for the aerosol arts. I don't have to convince you that making videos like this is something you should keep doing though....I just hope artists up and coming see this video for its many angles. Solid list, adding your reasoning for each artist definitely made the video more interesting to watch. I personally find it hard to find a writer dope if I haven't seen there work in person, unless I see their pieces online and it blows my socks off

Bates, Mode 2, Daim, Loomit in the international arena. As far as 3d stuff, Ernie and Delta were the first ones I can remember seeing back in the day.
I met SEEN by accident in 1984. We drove 2 hours to the Bronx to take graffiti photos and he was walking down the street. Saw a lot of GES/GESER stuff in Hartford CT. Have many pics of his stuff but never met him. HUGE is just crazy art. Never seen anything like it.
Graffiti is letters. Characters would be whatever thebartform isbdone in so if say someone draws a cartoon then it's a cartoon character, if they do a portrait then it's a portrait, not graffiti
My favorite names I’m fond of during my writing days which are 72- 74 in the Bronx NY. We’re to begin with are the original Crazy 5 these cats were cool Blade One - VAMM 1 - Crachee 11 - Mario - Death - Sabre115 - Blade One turned into the king of NYC , few books and Videos. Crachee 11 won a Pulitzer’s Prize for a book he wrote about a Green Baret 🇺🇸 USA fighting in the Vietnam 🇻🇳 war. This was nearly 50 years ago but I still look up to those guys and miss them, be well Crazy 5 we got over and over .

Yeah. He was a huge inspiration for my change in pieces and work some years ago. But not that slick, but keeping it more raw and basic like the 'Z to the Anamorphic' typograffiti

Thats only subjective perspective but theres a lot more just to name a few: TKID, CES, REVOK, SKEME, DONDI, PHOS4, INKA, DRIK, AKUT, SKIM, ODEM, POET, DEJOE, SWET, DARE, BATES, APER, CREME, SKERM(ABC), DEKO... and so on, the list is endless, a lot of graffiti artist are pretty sick....
I think not Daim, but DELTA inc/msn did bring that 3d graffiti to an higher level!! And also I would add Shoe, Mode2, Bando to that list . all did make a huge influence on Europe scene...
Wow... There are some serious heavy hitters getting shown no love.. Whether it's all time or just 2016, I don't think my list would have much variation.. All time in no particular order: JURNE TGE HM, TRAV MSK, POSE MSK, NMPH HM (absolute BEAST THE last few years), RIME MSK, AUDIO57 TSTL/IBD, GREY PVC, MATE1, MUCH HM/IBD, GESO PVC/IBD and honorable mention cause their work is clean AF, and they rock pretty much my all time favorite style (that late 90's SF funk mixed with the wildly dope euro colors and connections) CAN2 and ATOM1. They go together because they paint together, A-FUCKING-LOT..
