Mufflers then air intake. OK, but with respect, bearing in mind the RE OEM downpipes have CATs in them and almost unique to RE, extra gas flow restricting sound deadening as well, our priority would be downpipes (which choke the bike to death|) FIRST, then mufflers, then air intake. Almost nobody posting on TH-cam seems to appreciate RE downpipes are the most power sapping downpipes ever fitted to any motorcycle on Earth. All of the RE range, no exceptions. Every Dyno test we have done shows the downpipes are THE choke point for power and torque on RE bikes, all models, everything else comes a long way second.Just saying.
@@danielkerr4100 You have to be either kidding or riding very sedately, I found a world of difference and so does everyone else who has done it. So does any dyno too, not just in BHP, (about 2) but the torque curve.
Curious of why the step down from 18" (the interceptor runs 18s if I'm not mistaken?) to 17" on the wheels? Doesn't that mess with the ABS and speedo? I installed a 120/90 front tire (110/70 stock) on my Hunter and even that sidewall change completely threw off my speedo\abs, so I had to go do down back to 120/70 scorpions (which sadly look like sausages compared to a 120/90 heidenau k60 scout)
I wish you guys had a shop in the US. I'd love to get some of those 17" wider wheels on my Interceptor. The skinny tires are my least favorite part of my bike.
03:59 :) ProTaper Contour Handlebar Henry/Reed (1 1/8) By the way with "Renthal Bar Mounts 1-1/8", which Vehicle Make/Vehicle Model/Offset did you choose because officially doesn't fit RE INT650
The muffler look and sound fantastic! How easy is it to fit them? Would I be able to do it myself or do they need to be taken to a garage? Also do you have any video guides for the fitting process?
That’s wild the exhaust sounds that good with the DB killers on them. What size mufflers did y’all use for the factory pipes? Going to grab some soon for my Interceptor 😎 Keep the awesome videos coming 🤘🏼

Couple of nice, neat upgrades there. 👌
Clean and tidy was the order of the dy on this one, we have a more in depth custom coming later this year.

Beautiful build. Sounds incredible. What helmet are you wearing at the start?

The process is pretty simple. Most people can do it at home.
Nice!
Tip top.
What was the rim size on the rear and did it need any form of modification to chain guard etc to fit the 170?
You can check out our build blog for more info, linked in the video notes.
@@PurposeBuiltMotoUnfortunately none of these questions are answered in the blog.
How much for the wheel conversion?
Please share this video we need more scrambler from interceptor 650

We used the 41-44mm size for these bikes
Those grey headlight brackets need to be black, the silver grey spoils it, but 99.9% looks gorgeous.
