I have been talking to Bonvent today and they are planning on releasing a new version of the seat and rack that doesn’t need to have the new mudguard and lights, so you can keep the original ones, which is what I want to do as I have painted those Matt black already. They were really responsive and easy to deal with today. I can’t wait to get the new seat, it should be released in around 2 weeks!
Can’t wait to see that short seat. I’ll be right up for one of those as I plan on shortening the rear frame and can’t find a shirt seat in the aftermarket with the RE fittings. 👍
Just found your channel! Love the kit, it’s seems very good quality! I must admit I am tempted by the tank cover, to add to the changes I am already making, but it would need a paint job to match! Looking out for more vids! 👍

Absolutely. It's just a matter of taste. To be honest, I fell out of love with the tank cover quickly and rode it with the standard tank and the other mods. Was much nicer. I sold the bike not too long after this though, maybe a few months. Had a Tiger 1200 Explorer for a bit. Not riding a Himalayan. Cheers
@@Fergutron Front is 110/80/18 rear is 140/80/18 which is one oversize no issues with clearance, might need to trim your plastic chainguard if you keep it, i run an ally one from Hitchcocks fits fine buddy..

The seat and tail mods look interesting, however the tank cover is pretty ugly, in my opinion.

That kit looks brilliant! I especially love that headlight grill and cowl unit as well as the modular carrier and pillion assembly!

Sold Out Motorcycles do a short seat and rack kit too, really nice if you're looking.
Everything looks great 👍. I would imagine the tank cover will protect the paint from dents, scratches and the sun, it also looks awesome.
