This effect is very complicated. Not for you, obviously. Greetings from Apulia, Italy.

You can replay, pause, decrease/increase video speed and rewatch over and over again. If you are new to Affinity Photo it may take you 45 min to and hour to actually repeat the tutorial. But I will say this, it is about the only way you will learn how to use the program by actually doing tutorials like these over and over. Spend 6-8 weeks, every single day doing 45-hour long repeats of the tutorials. After that, you will have a pretty good idea of the the many tools, effects, menu, their uses as well as many, many techniques. Tutorials will start to go faster and you will even know how to do certain things in the tutorial without even watching it. Then you will know you have a very strong foundation in how to use Affinity Photo. But you need to spend the time and the effort.

Excellent comment, I can tell you sometimes it takes me 2h to teach something in a classroom setting but a video tutorial about it will be only 15 minutes long o.O because, in a video tutorial, I don't need to repeat hard steps every viewer is in control and can reverse and re-watch hard parts multiple times.
