Antenna inspection with a mini drone - DJI Mini 2

Robin VA2NRJ and I had a discussion about a useful drone for amateur radio applications, the DJI Mini 2. This small drone does not require a license in Canada, as it weighs less than 250 grams (8.81 oz). It has a 4k camera, GPS, sensors under the device (obstacle detection) super stable and easy to fly. We took the opportunity to present videos of our respective antenna infrastructures. I used my DJI Mini 2 with a payload release to deploy an inverted L end fed antenna between two very tall trees. The drone pulled masonry line with a small weight up over each tree and once over the tree the line was released. Then using the masonry line, paracord was pulled up over each tree to hold up each end of the antenna. As the payload release system added weight to the drone, I registered the drone. It is a great drone!

Thank you for this video. One thing...It looks like if your tower fell in a direction away from your house, it would hit the power lines. No?
