They are rock gods. Their musicianship is unmatched. When Led Zeppelin formed the stars were aligned and the gods smiled. Every song is superbly crafted and performed live they are awesome.
Since you used to do a mostly Elvis channel, you may be interested in hearing that Led Zeppelin met him in the early 70’s. He invited them to his hotel room, I think it was in Las Vegas. Robert Plant said Elvis did almost all the talking because they were in awe seeing him and were too stunned to say much.
there is an audio recording from an ELVIS concert where Elvis talks about Led Zeppelin being is in the crowd, 👇👇👇 th-cam.com/video/Ntpk6YiV1kI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HPvyLJbfk79PS4wk
@@ikeeight8 yes singer Robert Plant was a huge fan of Elvis, the band also had the opportunity to meet him, & spent about 2 hours with him. Plant & Elvis sang Plants favorite Elvis song back & fourth. There’s an interview where Plant or the band tells about it. Elvis wanted to meet the band, that was selling more concert tickets then him.
Bro you need to listen to Celebration Day live "Kashmir" John Bonham AKA" BONZO " passed away years before his son Jason plays the drums in place of him! It's a must see although the whole concert is stellar!!!!!
70s were fun, at least for me. Pickup truck, good friends, some beer and smoke and great music up in the hills. Definitely more simple times than today. No cell phones and information in your face all the time. Led Zep was one of my favorites, but there are so many. Check out Pink Floyd, Stones, Santana, the Cars. Lynyrd Skynyrd was one of my favorites, suggest Gimmie Back my Bullets, Call me the Breeze, You Got that Right, Swamp Music. But there are so many other great bands...keep exploring!
The MSG footage was used in their docu/movie called "The song remains the same" with great behind the scenes footage including the best manager to ever live Peter Grant. (Ex-Wrestler)
The song has nothing to do with a dog. The members stayed at a place called Headley Grange, they lived there so they could eat sleep write & record music. There was a Black Labrador that hung around the estate, they couldn’t think of a name for the song, so Black Dog. Each of the 4 are a GOAT on their own, together they were The GODS Of MUSIC. I’m so glad you are enjoying this amazing journey, we are enjoying it with you. Thank you once again for your reaction, look forward to your next LZ reaction.
^. ^ Im really glad you have become a Zep fan. Their music is hard to analyse .They do that thing where it sounds like they go out of time then they come back on the next bar lazer sharp! If you like them try some of their more ambient "Celtic" songs like the Rain Song The Battle of Evermore Going to California etc. Foxy Love fae Scotland VVxx

Hey, enjoying your reactions : ) For me, I think their live performance of this song is good, but it doesn't quite match up to the studio version, especiallythe guitar solo at the end of the song. Having said that, "Since I've Been Loving You is their performance of a song live, IMHO
@@ikeeight8 their other really amazing live performance is, live at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying. That date is the best version of that song, & it will blow your mind.
@@rodneyfrazer2424 both of them are my two favorite lives, both they have so much soulful passion. Though they are all so damn great, Pages guitar playing on both are really amazing, & Plant’s vocals are some of his best gritty soulful.
Ike, do yourself a big favor and just watch the whole movie "The Song Remains The Same", one of the best Rock movies ever made. And i own many of them on DVD. Some others I consider GREAT, "Stop Making Sense" with Talking Heads, "Rust Never Sleeps" with Neil Young, "The Last Waltz" with The Band and a large group of guest stars, "The Grateful Dead Movie", "The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus", again with many guests, including The WHO, "Little Feat on Rockpalast" , "The Kids Are Alright" with The WHO. This will bring you up to the lead lap of Rock and Roll.
You really need to post Zeppelin live. There are lots of videos of them in the 70s. Black Dog and others. Many. Videos of them from 69 until 79. It's so much more fun to watch the videos and not just audio. Just my 2 cents.
Oh wait! Ike I am so sorry. The video is so obscured by the blocking picture that I did not see the video under it until the end. So sorry. TH-cam has it blocked.

🔥 ass song! Led Zeppelin doesn’t have a bad song.
I see😂🤟🏾🤟🏾
I love watching people discover new music that I grew up on! Sometimes it is the simple pleasures in life that make us happy. Rock n Roll lives on!

Your sound system isn’t set up for High Fidelity Stereo recordings . You definitely need a good set of headphones or by a old stereo off marketplace
Waiting on amazon😂

I heard that black dog was slang for gold digger back then.
