Just something I’ve noticed where you put the mobile over the cot is fab but I’ve learnt from my grandson camera they are super sensitive and the mobile will trigger movement even when the cot is empty, just something to be aware of. Beautiful nursery and your little one is going to be one very loved little boy 💙 x
I'd recommend a baby changing station - just makes changing a nappy and dressing so much easier - then as the child gets older it can be repurposed into something else
You might replace the toy chest for the upcycled dresser changing table until the baby is old enough for more toys. The dresser drawers are great for storing changing supplies.
The nursery is so lovely and the bird theme is peaceful! I am so happy for you! As a great Gram who has helped with the littles on my family, please consider a diaper changing area that would include space for diapers, wipes,& ointment. It would be a great convenience if there were also receptacles for used diapers and for dirty/ used clothing…newborns require frequent clothing and bedding changes. Your upholstered rocker looks so inviting, but on those long nights when baby needs much holding & rocking, a chair with a tall back provides a place for the caregiver to rest their head & snooze a bit. Babies spit up a lot in the beginning and a washable slipcover will help keep the upholstery looking good. Enjoy these next few month and years…they fly by swiftly!😘
A changing table is so easy to turn into a dresser! Even can be toy/book storage, excellent for off season clothing storage. A place for cherished items! He could be a collector of weird stuff that as a parent, you might not want to see, like my daughter became a sock collector😂! She couldn't pass up odd/unusual or holiday socks. Odd at first but I got used to it❤!
I love your comment that giving the baby fewer toys will stimulate his imagination/creativity. I agree completely. I believe it also trains children to be self-starters and to come up with solutions rather than to wait for an answer to be fed to them. Congratulations. Your child is, indeed, a lucky boy.
I agree. So many children today need constant entertainment. They have too many toys, too much screen time and not enough time by themselves to entertain themselves. The old playpen has gone by the wayside. You could put your infant/toddler in it and know they were safe and could entertain themselves for short periods of time.
My high school art teacher told us that his children had never had coloring books! He also didn't have a TV😢! As kids of the 70's we thought that was cruel & told him so😂! He said that it stifled creativity! As an adult, he was right, kinda. But kids need to fit in with their peers, or they will rebel, there has to be a balance❤!
You need a changing table. You can store nappies, wipes, bed linens, burb cloths, etc. You won’t believe how much you go through in a day. Just remember nothing needs to be perfect, love and consistency is what is really important.
Sooo true! The boys haven't realized yet, but soon will.... that their first year will be an endless flow of pee, poop and milk puke. 🤣 Their OCD tendencies are in for a big shock to the status quo! As I'm sure it was for most of us! 😎
The nursery is absolutely beautiful! It’s definitely giving off a very peaceful and tranquil vibe. This little one is so fortunate to have you both as parents. Your love is coming through all the little details ❤❤
I think that it's perfectly comfortable❤! Maybe when he starts walking you'll put some corner bumpers on the bricks on the fireplace? One of my three was extremely dopey until he grew out of it at four. Oh my was it worrying😢! We had tests run & they said he was just dopey & they were right, scary though! Your new son is just Beautiful❤!!! I'm sure he'll love his room for a very long time!
When my children were growing up and they got so many gifts at birthdays and Christmas, I would split them up into 2 or 3 batches and then rotate the toys so they always felt new to them.😊
I use to do that too. I also use to set up a small world in a builders tray. The tray could be moved indoors or outside. So if it was outside I’d put water in the tray, then add marine animals, shells and boats. Or soil or leaves. By providing the resources (ie blocks/figures/small world animals ie farm animals or safari animals, marine animals/shells/cars/tractors/diggers/police/ambulance etc they create their own imaginary world that keeps changing and learn through play. You rotate the resources accordingly and keep enhancing the accessories. I’ve always worked with primary school children… it’s how the learn through play at school. Brings on language too. Then they tidy the resources away when it’s bedtime. Put it all into the builders tray or sorting boxes.
A change table and a night light. It will provide enough light to change the baby while the bottle is warming up. If you organize it just so, you can change the baby - even bathe him and change the sheets if necessary - without hardly opening your eyes!
when i saw the finished nursery i burst out in tears..i was so happy.. i don't want be a mam anymore..i have my 37 years old son.. but i feel like, for you two, with you two, like a becoming grandma 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Bless the child that has you two, such beautiful, doting fathers (what the hell …you’re both mega cute). Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together with baby. Zoltán
The nursery looks so great that I began to tear up. That will be the luckiest baby in the world. Can you imagine when he’s grown and see this video, his dad’s building the perfect nursery for him. He will cherish the videos of the building of the nursery forever. Good thing you have a few years to edit all of the short videos into one long one, start to finish. The baby is coming!!!
I've had four kids and id agree with everyone who said changing station and also with the need for a co sleeping cot beside the bed because you need to be able to just turn over to see to the baby at night and then lie down and go back to sleep. A bottle warmer too in your bedroom and cool bag with ice blocks for pre prepared bottles...
@@mytinyestate I forgot to add... Fill your freezer up with healthy ready meals so that you have lots of easy meals you can reheat in the first few weeks.... Also both soft and structured baby carriers so that you can carry the baby hands free and soothe them when they are feeling unsettled. Google to see the safest... 😊😊
Perhaps you’d need a “changing table” with one or two drawers at your comfort height to be able to change diapers and dress the baby comfortably… you can put it in what will be a bathroom one day… The nursery IS beautiful!!!😊😊❤❤

The nursery is beautiful! Changing table is good idea but remember that they roll over at about 3-4 mos of age so make sure you have sides on it. The other thing you will want to be super careful about is stairs - you will need gates!!!
A changing Table with storage for wipes, etc. Maybe a piece of furniture to upcycle. That is sturdy and a great height to change the baby's diapers. But honestly I can see the Love from family and friends all over the Nursery! I'm a gay man and I always dreamed of having a child. Well he is now 40 years old, married and I have a grand daughter! The love you'll have for him will blow your mind..........and Heart! So happy for you guys!
Don’t stress about the toys. One day you won’t have any to put away or pick up. Enjoy every single messy baby moment filled with toys given with love. Get a bigger box lol congratulations the room is just darling!!
WHERE is the baby's CHANGING TABLE??? Such a great room for a baby boy...your son will not live in there when he's walking, but sleep there mostly while young. He's got the great outdoor gardens to explore, but he'll NEED some swings on the lawn, and from the 🌳 trees! Blessings from TEXAS, USA 🇺🇸
There is nothing wrong with being a perfectionist. Are there any skills you two don’t have? You turn a hand to anything and it is perfection. The room is beautiful. I love the carved wooden birds you bought too.❤xxxx
You guys had me laughing so hard with all the holes in the wall LOL ..... I'm with you, can't stand to look at cords! Congrats on your new baby son .....!
You guys are unreal if I was younger I think now my husband and myself would have had a child together. He says its the one thing he wishes he could change in his life. God bless you both and enjoy your son as they grow so very fast. Take care From Canada
I agree with everyone. You need a changing table otherwise you’ll be changing their diaper on the floor. Beautiful nursery! And I also love the acorn. The tree will grow along with your precious child 🌳
But the most important thing for the nursery you already have and that’s lots of love. You can tell by the care and thought you put into the nursery that’s going to be one loved little boy and his crib can be passed down to future children well done dads.
You have created a cozy warm space for your son. It is beautiful. I totally agree with you on the amount of toys. If there are too many toys to choose from children can get hyperactive. Their eyes go in too many places. The babies room is soothing because of the soft colors and minimal decor.
Look amazing, guys - the crib is just stunning! The one thing I learned I needed: A footstool of some kind for the chair. You end up spending more time than you'll think in that chair, and being able to kick your feet up a bit for comfort is so nice!
The nursery is truly stunning and your excitement is palpable! Your baby is so lucky to be loved by both of you! The thought and care you put into each detail shows that love. Bird mobile & crib (cot) WOW!!!
A baby bumper around the rails of the cot…a Moses basket for inside the cot for the 1st month or so also with a stand. Changing station with mat & nappies. Baby bath….so excited for you both ❤
The nursery is absolutely beautiful. Love the bird mobile. The only thing that is missing and I hope it is somewhere close, is a change table. You need one for changing nappies, getting the baby dressed, etc. we have a two storey house and we had one on both levels.
A convenient changing station would help. When you are changing nappies in the middle of the night, you will want to have everything close-to-hand, so baby is moved around as little as possible, and changes can be completed as fast as possible. Just a thought.
I think I had the same ambition as a first time mum on the toy front! Reality is family and friends love to give. By the time you have parties the plastic fantastic arrives and we'll be watching you convert a room into a playroom to contain all his stuff 😂. It's such a gorgeous space and your excitement is just infectious. As others have said, save your back and do a nappy changing station with everything within reach. Have a toy handy to distract and play whilst changing. Exciting times for you both!
Honestly! I hear you! We have already been given so many things that we would never have bought ourselves but what can you do?! 😅🤦🏽♂️ so you are very likely right!
Baby changing station at a good height for your backs. Drawers underneath can contain all the changing / cleaning things. But you’re probably planning something like this anyway ! There’s a wide choice of styles out there. Congratulations to you both and the room looks perfect :).
The nursery is gorgeous! As others have suggested, you might want to have a changing table that could be open with visible shelves or closed so you can store diapers, and receiving blankets and other supplies! Looking forward to meeting your little one. ❤
I never got toys for my grandchildren. They had top menu. I opted on opening a saving account for each of them and placerd an amount each month, on their birthdays christmas and for achievments. The accounts were blocked till they were 18. They still use it as savings account and have another one for living. You could ask family and frends to contribute to the saving account. Believe me your child will be thankful. My grand children are.😅 I adore the nursery.
😮this is so cute everything is made of love and everything in his room is so meaningful. I love the idea of the chest you guys are right. Too many toys 🧸 would be too overwhelming. The little protective charm from grandma yess !! Keep the evil eye 🧿 🪬 away. For sure That bathroom definitely going to need a tub for his ducklings 🐥 bath time days potty training days. You do need a changing area you can buy a separate antique dresser that can hold the diapers, the wipes, the AD cream for diaper rash, the nose sucker, the cotton swab to clean his belly button all his little essential. And just have the baby changing pad on top. ☺️ i’m so excited for you guys. God bless
A changing station would be a pretty smart thing to have. Truth be told I have 5 children and never used a changing station even once. I was a nanny prior to having children of my own and I changed the children on the couch, the floor, the seat of the car or wherever! But others swear by theirs! The acorn growing is such a special thing! We have done that with each of our children as well so it really had us tearing up just seeing it. We have a plaque on our mantle that says “Mightly oaks from little acorns grow.” We look forward to watching you lovely family grow! My husband and I have been watching your amazing sympathetic remodeling and just love the videos! If you ever need help that’s what he does for a living.
I know! That’s why we don’t have one yet as we thought exactly the same .. in America we have been changing him in one place though but it is just a small apartment… maybe when we get home it will be different we will see!
You are missing a changing table. I agree with fewer toys. The starry night ceiling! Epic. I used a hanging bag for diapers. Because you use them so often. It was just convenient. But idk if they have them anymore. Congratulations the both of you!
I look forward to seeing how long the toy quota rule lasts. Spectacularly beautiful and uncluttered nursery! Well done ❤. I agree with others. A changing “table” is a necessity. We bought a dresser and put a portable changing station on top of it. When our son got older, it reverted back to a dresser. Something that would match the chest you already have would be great.
Haha right?! It would be amazing, but we already took the hit on the cot 😅 I think we will need to find something more cost effective for the changing table as much as it would have been amazing to have a bespoke one
Hi my loves, I've sadly never been lucky enough to have a baby, but I think you need to have a nappy changing station, love to you both am so happy for you both xx
Hi, Love you guys ! i’m a house flipper in the US. Been doing it for 30 years and a mother of two. You guys are incredible. Love to watch you work. Congratulations on everything especially the baby. Just watched the nursery being done just gorgeous. Please put bumpers on the crib as the baby rolls around he’ll hit his head on the side, I don’t know what they call him in England, but they’re 6 to 8 inch high cushions that go along around the perimeter of the inside of the crib so when the baby rolls he doesn’t hit his head. Again, best of luck great job.
I’m one of those Nannie’s that has access to my grandsons camera. He’s 19 mths old now, and I haven’t missed a night where I haven’t checked in on him and checked his breathing and blew him a kiss goodnight. I feel very fortunate to have this access, but on a funny note, I would suggest you tell them to turn the sound off just in case they hear something they shouldn’t
You’ve created a beautiful space, congratulations. It would be a good idea to have a dedicated nappy changing area. I’m sure you will both adapt very well 😊🇨🇦
This is the most beautiful nursery put together with so much thought & love, from the sweet mobile to the amazing crib, closet and then to top it off with stars! What a welcome home this baby will have❤️
WELL DONE!!!...Perhaps this has been done...be sure the trunk/ chest has the latest safety hinges & decent holes drilled into the bottom...children like to get into things...You guys are sooo talented!
The brick fireplace-the area on the floor-is very scary when thinking of the baby starting to crawl. Hard corners on anything are just waiting for a disaster but you're both amazing!❤
@@mytinyestateYou can also come up with a padded covering for the hearth to prevent him falling and hurting himself against it. We had a brick hearth when our boys were little and we had a thickly padding covering over it.
Guys, as a very clucky grandmother I can honestly say the nursery is perfection. You have both put so much time and thought in to been able to welcome your precious son in to the world and bring him home. My smile isn’t a big as yours but it’s pretty close. 💙💙💙
Have you got a bassinette or moses basket for the first few months? There are some really beautiful ones and you will want one. Get baskets for nappies that you can move around the house with you as you will always want the baby with you and it makes it easy
something light and mobile, not used much after 3 months, but gives you lots of options for work/office, cooking, watching tv. knowing you both work at home you probably will carry your baby around in a sling instead.
It's beautiful, the thought and detail is amazing. Regarding toys, kids do get bored, I always rotated my kids toys every three months. Right up until they were clearly too old for the toy. Don't be so hasty to give them away if they don't fit into your toy chest. Different toys bring different interest at different stages of development. Rotate my lovelies! x
@@mytinyestate lots of books, never enough books! I also have Spanish and English books for my little grandson Gabriel so he is learning both languages as a baby
Beautiful. I love your joy in getting the baby’s room ready. I agree to the change table with shelves/drawers and perhaps another comfy chair, if there is room so you all can enjoy reading times together. 9:44 A diaper ‘genie’ for the used diapers could fit in the bathroom.
Hi guys, what a beautiful nursery. I had two boys, so lots of toys between birthdays & Christmas. What I used to do every few months was sort thru & donate those they've outgrown. The rest I divided into, one pile for the toy box & one box for the top of the closet. After a few months, if they became bored, I switched the toy box & closet box & it was like Christmas, as they had forgotten some of them. Hope this gives you an idea. Bless your little boy. ❤
So much love in this nursery. Your touches everywhere. A safe secure loving enviroment for you little boy💙I did not have a changing station when my 3 were babies but I wish I did have, so yes a bespoke one crafted by Bill would look amazing💜
So nice you had the cot made as an heirloom peice. I am lucky enough to have the cradle my great grandfather built around 1900, for my grandfather. At some point, my grandfather made it into a blanket chest, the rockers are kept under a false bottom. It is filled with quilts my great grandmother made.
Babies see black and white at the beginning and then primary colours are good. Have you thought of painting the birds bright colours. Just a thought. Your excitement is infectious. 🤗🇨🇦
Changing table/future Lego storage and display table, more “baby food” coloured clothing (the whites are gorgeous but impractical), safety netting for staircase railing.
I had a beautiful nursery. I ended up co-sleeping with my baby. You may find you all get a lot more sleep that way. Don't worry it's not forever. My grandson now want to sleep with me or in the same room as me. It creates a lot of security.
I love what you have done with the nursery, love the fact that the room can age with your child and i adore that you advocate for not being excessive. Your little one is going to grow up with great values and as of late that is very rare apparently. I'm looking forward to seeing how your son grows up and what a gentleman he's going to be and appreciating the opportunity his parents have given him with the type of life you two are working towards. You're going to be great parents
The cot is beautiful! I highly recommend you look into getting some silicone 'gummi' rail protectors to put along the top edges of the cot once baby starts teething. When they can stand up they will chew on the timber & leave marks all over it. The silicone covers are safe for baby & you also don't have to worry about them 'eating' the cot ❤

But the most important thing for the nursery you already have and that’s lots of love. You can tell by the care and thought you put into the nursery that’s going to be one loved little boy and his crib can be passed down to future children well done dads.
Thank you! Lots of love for sure ☺️
You have created a cozy warm space for your son. It is beautiful. I totally agree with you on the amount of toys. If there are too many toys to choose from children can get hyperactive. Their eyes go in too many places. The babies room is soothing because of the soft colors and minimal decor.
Yes totally or at least that’s what our intentions are… let’s see how it pans out 😆
Your nursery was created with love, and so it is beautiful. On the practical side, a night light would be helpful!
I am going straight to amazing to look for one ☺️
Dean needs to work on his “invisible” wire hemming/threading! ❤ Also, blackout blinds will be the best money you have ever spent!
Yessss! We do have a black out blind in the nursery 😊
Look amazing, guys - the crib is just stunning!
The one thing I learned I needed: A footstool of some kind for the chair. You end up spending more time than you'll think in that chair, and being able to kick your feet up a bit for comfort is so nice!
Great idea!! We want to be comfortable there for sure ☺️
The nursery is truly stunning and your excitement is palpable! Your baby is so lucky to be loved by both of you! The thought and care you put into each detail shows that love. Bird mobile & crib (cot) WOW!!!
Aww thank you!! We are so excited about it ☺️
A baby bumper around the rails of the cot…a Moses basket for inside the cot for the 1st month or so also with a stand. Changing station with mat & nappies. Baby bath….so excited for you both ❤
baby bumpers arent recommended any more due to risk of SIDS.
@@noreenen2347wow, didn’t know that
I think we must go shopping 😜
Yes we read about that! Just a plane cot
You guys are amazing! You are going to be the best parents 💕
Awww you are too kind 🥰
My face hurts from smiling so much. 😊 Thanks for the video. ❤
Thanks for watching! 🤗
Congratulations on your beautiful son. He's so adorable and what a gorgegous nursery you both put together. That cot is a family heirloom!!!!!!!
Aww thanks so much! I know we are so happy with it
The nursery is absolutely beautiful. Love the bird mobile. The only thing that is missing and I hope it is somewhere close, is a change table. You need one for changing nappies, getting the baby dressed, etc. we have a two storey house and we had one on both levels.
Thank you!! I think we will certainly look into that ☺️
A convenient changing station would help. When you are changing nappies in the middle of the night, you will want to have everything close-to-hand, so baby is moved around as little as possible, and changes can be completed as fast as possible. Just a thought.
We managed to set on up but in hindsight we should have set up a proper station 🥰
I think we will certainly need one! Otherwise our backs will suffer 😅
@@mytinyestate sorry just re read last message and I didn’t mean to sound a bit bossy at the beginning !
Good luck. 😊
You're little angel will feel all the love you put into his room. Amazing ❤
🩵🩵💙🩵🩵
Super STUNNING! Super SIMPLE. The cot is just unbelievable. Gorgeous guys.
Thanks so much!!
The nursery is gorgeous! As others have suggested, you might want to have a changing table that could be open with visible shelves or closed so you can store diapers, and receiving blankets and other supplies! Looking forward to meeting your little one. ❤
Thanks for the tip! We certainly will need one
You will definitely need 2 rocking chairs.❤
☺️
I never got toys for my grandchildren. They had top menu. I opted on opening a saving account for each of them and placerd an amount each month, on their birthdays christmas and for achievments. The accounts were blocked till they were 18. They still use it as savings account and have another one for living. You could ask family and frends to contribute to the saving account. Believe me your child will be thankful. My grand children are.😅 I adore the nursery.
I adore the nursery.
What a GREAT idea!! Thank youu
God bless
Awww yes thanks ! As we use the space we are learning where to have things to be handy 🥰🥰 it’s working really well at the moment
Aww thanks yes we have one of them setup now 🥰
You new Dads are so adorable
🥰
You might find a shawl or a small afghan comes in handy when rocking the baby.
Aww ok thanks xx
I look forward to seeing how long the toy quota rule lasts. Spectacularly beautiful and uncluttered nursery! Well done ❤. I agree with others. A changing “table” is a necessity. We bought a dresser and put a portable changing station on top of it. When our son got older, it reverted back to a dresser. Something that would match the chest you already have would be great.
Hahahahaha probably not long!
Definitely need a changing station. Why not have your fantastic fine carpenter make one?
Haha right?! It would be amazing, but we already took the hit on the cot 😅 I think we will need to find something more cost effective for the changing table as much as it would have been amazing to have a bespoke one
He’s one lucky boy having you to as parents ❤
Thank you so much 🤎🤎
Hi my loves, I've sadly never been lucky enough to have a baby, but I think you need to have a nappy changing station, love to you both am so happy for you both xx
Thank you very much for the advice! I belive you are very right!
A little worried about those sharp brick corners. Love the birds.
I know! We will have to do something about it when he gets older!
Only thing missing is the kid ! Honestly Its Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yesss we are missing a baby!
Love it! You might want add bumper pads in the baby’s bed.
🥰☺️
Nestor notabilis says hi Borja. That Fabric with the birds is a major score !
☺️☺️
That is lovely to hear!
You’ve created a beautiful space, congratulations. It would be a good idea to have a dedicated nappy changing area. I’m sure you will both adapt very well 😊🇨🇦
Thank you so much! We do need to organise one of those
This is the most beautiful nursery put together with so much thought & love, from the sweet mobile to the amazing crib, closet and then to top it off with stars! What a welcome home this baby will have❤️
Thank you so much! The stars we always wanted that as kids ourselves 😂
WELL DONE!!!...Perhaps this has been done...be sure the trunk/ chest has the latest safety hinges & decent holes drilled into the bottom...children like to get into things...You guys are sooo talented!
A laundry hamper is definitely needed
Oh yes!
The brick fireplace-the area on the floor-is very scary when thinking of the baby starting to crawl. Hard corners on anything are just waiting for a disaster but you're both amazing!❤
Aww yes don’t worry we will alter it once he can move and create something bespoke for him in the space … like a dolls house or a garage or a den 🥰
@@mytinyestateYou can also come up with a padded covering for the hearth to prevent him falling and hurting himself against it. We had a brick hearth when our boys were little and we had a thickly padding covering over it.
It’s a beautiful room. Would benefit from a changing station. A very lucky little boy 👶🏻
Amazed and speechless every time I see you guys embark on a project - and even more so when seeing the result. A million thanks for sharing!
Ahh thank you 🥰
Guys, as a very clucky grandmother I can honestly say the nursery is perfection. You have both put so much time and thought in to been able to welcome your precious son in to the world and bring him home. My smile isn’t a big as yours but it’s pretty close. 💙💙💙
That feels our hearts! Thank you so much ☺️
i like it, that you have now a costa rica nursery ❤❤❤ greetings from Costa Rica KARIN RUTH RIZ, emigrated from Switzerland ❤❤❤ LOVE YOU TWO
Awww love that 🥰🥰🥰
Definitely going to need a baby changing station 😊
I think so too!
A change table will be very useful
For sure!
You guys are so sweet and funny ❤
🥰🥰
Have you got a bassinette or moses basket for the first few months? There are some really beautiful ones and you will want one. Get baskets for nappies that you can move around the house with you as you will always want the baby with you and it makes it easy
We are still looking for one of those 🥰
something light and mobile, not used much after 3 months, but gives you lots of options for work/office, cooking, watching tv. knowing you both work at home you probably will carry your baby around in a sling instead.
Rotate my lovelies! x
That’s a lovely idea ! We will keep that in mind 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks!! Yes we just got one of those! The replacement bags are so expensive ! 🤦🏽♂️
You can use the tall scented trash bags it holds more too and eliminates odors.
Such a smart idea ! I think if we start accumulating too much we will do the same 🥰
So much love in this nursery. Your touches everywhere. A safe secure loving enviroment for you little boy💙I did not have a changing station when my 3 were babies but I wish I did have, so yes a bespoke one crafted by Bill would look amazing💜
So true! We do need one for sure
Such a lovely room, he will be so happy there………Donna in Toronto
He is thank you 🥰
🥰🥰
So nice you had the cot made as an heirloom peice. I am lucky enough to have the cradle my great grandfather built around 1900, for my grandfather. At some point, my grandfather made it into a blanket chest, the rockers are kept under a false bottom. It is filled with quilts my great grandmother made.
Oh wow! How amazing to hear that!
Babies see black and white at the beginning and then primary colours are good. Have you thought of painting the birds bright colours. Just a thought. Your excitement is infectious. 🤗🇨🇦
Aww thanks! We have lots of cards in black and white that we use with him 🥹
Changing table/future Lego storage and display table, more “baby food” coloured clothing (the whites are gorgeous but impractical), safety netting for staircase railing.
Thanks! Definetly we need to up our game 😅
I had a beautiful nursery. I ended up co-sleeping with my baby. You may find you all get a lot more sleep that way. Don't worry it's not forever. My grandson now want to sleep with me or in the same room as me. It creates a lot of security.
We have noticed if we are holding him he sleeps an extra hour
😊😊love the nursery, the acorn is the most amazing gift you could have thoughtbof, l absolutely LOVE it
Ahh thanks we just love the idea of it growing with them 🥰
I love what you have done with the nursery, love the fact that the room can age with your child and i adore that you advocate for not being excessive. Your little one is going to grow up with great values and as of late that is very rare apparently.
I'm looking forward to seeing how your son grows up and what a gentleman he's going to be and appreciating the opportunity his parents have given him with the type of life you two are working towards.
You're going to be great parents
Ahh thank you so much ! Yes he has a pretty room so he doesn’t need loads of toys 😜🥰🥰
A changing station is a must.
Thank youuu
The cot is beautiful! I highly recommend you look into getting some silicone 'gummi' rail protectors to put along the top edges of the cot once baby starts teething. When they can stand up they will chew on the timber & leave marks all over it. The silicone covers are safe for baby & you also don't have to worry about them 'eating' the cot ❤
Thanks for the tip! We will definitely look into them
Wow. That will be the babie's first closet and it is much nicer than mine :-)
And ours too 😂
Essential for a nursery: a baby! ;-P
It looks gorgeous! I think we are all almost as excited as you are to meet your baby. x
Incoming 😜🥰
Good luck with the “limited toys in chest” idea . 😆 By the second Christmas that will be blown out of the water, regardless of Dean’s upbringing. 😎
Oh no doubt but the idea is good hahaha
The acorn omg. That is the sweetest! I love you guys!
🥰
Beautiful!
Thank you!
