These are great videos. You show the trails really well - great editing, not too much talking. Helps identify which trails are realistic for skill level. Thanks for your efforts.

@@offroadhub.official i think those fj,s need a low range, like the old f100,or my super duty. 6 cyl 4.2 tdi. brazilian.. zf 5 sp. 4.11,35.s. first low is stupid..a manual is safer down hill than auto,no brake with auto. runs away.. never,,ever touch the brake down hill, you die. with auto, you have to accelerate & brake at same time,to keep the torque converter working. dangerous, but nesasery some times.
Ran the trail a couple of times. Fall of 19 the Grand Cherokee was just stuck, but was blocking the trail a little so had to go around it. Looks like someone or a number of folks decided to "move" it a little more out of the way. It was actually coming from the backside though so it did not even make it to the hill.
Well, now I don't feel so bad when you and I started the Smiley Rock trail and I was in 4high. Great video Ken. One quick note I've shown your Busy Wild video to a bunch a friends they love it. Many own Jeeps and couldn't believe an FJ could do what you do with it.
@@offroadhub.official No unfortunately I haven't. I've been waiting on expedition one to send me the windshield wiper reservoir. They're waiting on the brackets that are being power coated. Ordered the shocks as well and those are also delayed. Patience is a virtue!
One of my favorite trails, and very close to home so I run it a lot. I surprised you didn't mention the sharp right you need to take at the top of the big hill, were you can't see where the road is. Even though I know where it is, I still pucker up every time I get there.
Just got my new front axles yesterday. They are from RCV. Stupid expensive but they promise me they will not brake. They say these are as strong as a Dana 60. Time to pull some Axels. Fun time.
Another great one ! The real question is, was Brian brave enough to run a third one with you? Sure enjoy the contrast between your build and Brian’s. Lucious is outrunning both of you and he is totally stock! Enjoy, Happy 21 !
Never forgot to shift to 4x4. But once I forgot to air down my dirt bike, and wondered why I couldn't stay upright. Airing down is even a bigger deal on a bike.
I'm not sure how the Cherokee ended up there, but it had been there awhile. The horn on the FJ can be triggered by the entire center section of the steering wheel, so it's pretty easy to accidently toot! 😄
It happened to me once, my Raptor bogged in the sand in a beach in Saudi Arabia, and I spent around half an hour digging and removing sand around the tires. Until I realised that my car was not on 4 WD, 😅😅😅
it would seem you friend was in 4H maybe I am wrong but, if I am not you should have him try 4L. So much more control in my opinion and I drive a manual.
I'm sure he was in 4 low. But like I mention, he is driving a manual, so coming to a stop to control the descent is much more difficult. We had a good time! 😄 Thanks for watching!
@@offroadhub.official it looks very cool. I’m itching bad to wheel! I hate the winter. Been thinking about a trip down somewhere where it is warmer for some good wheeling. I’m looking at the drone you have or the Skydio but I don’t know what to do. Any issues with yours? Does it track you pretty well?
I'm about to head down to New Mexico and Texas for some warmer wheeling! I should know dates soon if you want to join. The Mavic Air 2 hasn't had a single problem. It tracks very well. I don't have any complaints about it.
@@offroadhub.official thanks for the info. Where are you going in NM??? The only trails we’ve hit there are in Red River and we used to live in Farmington but those trails are pretty intense there. Not sure how much snow Red River has. My buddy went to the Chili Challenge a couple years ago and said it was cool. Let me see what’s going on. Can’t go this weekend 😭
I appreciate that you don't add music. Love to hear the engines, tires, rocks, etc. Great videos!
Thank you!

This trail seems pretty easy compared to lower terminator which I did this weekend just north of this trail.
Indeed. I've been back and did both Terminators, very fun.
Lol, I wonder how long that ZJ was laying there...
It's hard to tell in that dry environment. It could have been a week or 2 years... 😄
Just subscribed. Great channel.

Got a new front tube bumper. looks great on the FJ. Less weight I bet. What make is it? I gotta do this trail now. HAHA.
This bumper is made by Metaltech. It's really great! Check out the install video!

Looks like a great trail for these FJ's ....Cheers .....what tires does the red FJ runs ?.....air down?
Brian is running 285 70 17's, Nittos as I recall. I was aired diwn to 15psi, Brian was as well I think. Thanks for watching!
Red FJ is running nitto ridge grapplers 285’s on 15 psi
Great video! Do you remember if you went clockwise or counterclockwise on this trail?
I THINK We went counter, but I'm not positive.
Any word on the upside down Cherokee? Didn't look too bad !!! And, where exactly is the horn button that there are so many inadvertent toots?

plenty of jeep jokes to be made at 12:50 thanks for refraining 😜😂
it looks like that Jeep was trying to climb the hill possibly
Oh yeah I have no idea how that happened. 😄
Quick question on that steep downhill with the dropoff could you have went hard driver to take an easier line down? Thxs...
No. It was to steep to safely turn, and you have to drop straight or you'll roll for sure.

I know you aren't much of a "Mud" fan... But I know these FJ's are very Mudhole capable.... MORE MUD!!!!!!
I've got a couple good mud videos. Busywild and June Creek were pretty muddy... 😄 Thanks for watching!
