Believe it or not but I hunted there in October '22 and was wheeling in a stock Samurai with 30" tires. Went down that big hill South of Oak flat and clutch cable frayed. Made it back up. I have seen how the rains change the trails too.
I just realized your are from Madison County. I lived and graduated in Mountain Home (Elmore County). I'm now living in Arizona and drive an 2010 army green FJ. AZFJ!!
The FJ350 making it look easy. Lots of great trails in the Superior area. Did that trail in a stock Rubicon years ago...I got my first bumper dent and smashed the steering stabilizer flat on the bottom, luckily that was it😁
Sorry I missed you guys on this run! Great trail always changing! I wheel with those two red rigs and we have conquered some amazing trails, come join us for more!
Haven't been out here in years. we used to run it the opposite direction you guys did. I have noticed in some other recent videos, other people doing it that direct, maybe that's the new preferred direction? I thought the old chevy was missing, then I noticed it in the background ;)
Any particular reason you're not encouraging the "bump it" method? It's super scientific; back up a foot and skinny pedal->->-> I woulda cabled up on the big wall section either way for sure. Awesome videos and rigs of all kinds!! Stay safe..
At 17:45, when you went up the slab, just before Chevy hill, that is actually a bypass. The hard line is on the other side of the mountain running up a wash.
@@offroadhub.official Hey! Actually someone below already answered, I read. A company called GR8Tops makes/sells it. They say it's inspired by the Meyers aftermarket Jeep CJ tops of the '70s. Darn though if they didn't borrow heavily from Land Rover too. Looks great. I'd do it if I had a Jeep. But I have a Scout II. Not too many other options with an old Scout. LOL
Great video, Ken. Looked like a fun trail, is TJ40 a custom build or are those tops made by a certain company? Really cool either way, thanks as always for posting great videos. Cheers
Dumb girl question, myself, husband and friends like the rough trails but after watching your video I’m not sure we can get it done in sidexsides. Is it doable in a sidexside? I mapped a ride to this trail and now I’m not so sure. Thanks sir
You keep mentioning the busy wild as a reference of difficulty,. When aare you going to come back and do it again with the new build? Elbe is my home trail system and I will get some boys together so you dont have to do it alone this time.
I live in Phoenix and haven't been on that trail. Nice! I'll add that to my maps. You guys are bad spotters. Gotta be on the ball.
Was looking hard at a FJ but wanted to flat tow behind RV.... bought a 2000 TJ Sahara , working on mods now for trail use
The FJ cruiser looks like a big rc/car , love the look of FJ 😀😁
Some really odd and rugged terrain! I love the 2DR JEEPS! 💪🏻 🇺🇸
Great run! That "go go" snowy rock staircase was tricky! Great reflexes on letting off the break in time.
Glad your not wheeling by yourself. Nice team work. Thanks Ken
You have to be pleased with the way the FJ is get'in er done.
This is a great one! Loved the tj40.

Fj still looking good. Like to see you do that w your fj, jeeps and compatible fj w 33s or 35s. Bet you’d pick up ton of subscribers and views
A great trail. The FJ is extremely capable.

Arizona is great!
As usual the Beast FJ conquers all. Awesome nice rugged trail. Beautiful scenery.
The detour to avoid the mud looked pretty tough!
Just woke up to a foot of snow ❄
FJ honked it's own horn .... time to boogie ... lol
Back of the Fj reminds me of The Punisher ...

It's a pretty fun trail for sure!
Good job Ken, great video!!
Figured it might have been a bit messy in there. Glad to see you all made it through.
Sorry I missed you guys on this run! Great trail always changing! I wheel with those two red rigs and we have conquered some amazing trails, come join us for more!
I haven't seen that many 2 door Jeeps on a trail at one time since 2006
No Kidding!! I noticed that too ! My wife has a 2 dr 2010 Wrangler that looks like new yet.

People definitely still run it in both directions. The old Chevy is very much still there! Great trail!
Wish I could have made this run Ken, if I wasn't open/open I might have tried. hopefully next time you make it this way.

Oh... Well I'll check it out next time I'm there! Thanks for the info!
@@offroadhub.official let me know when you are going and I will show you the way.
Ken, you didn’t struggle anywhere! Quite an impressive run but hmmm, where was the trail? Lol
It's a pretty rugged trail!
Nice old Dodge!
Just getting broken in!
Where did that Jeep guy get the Land Rover style roof for his Jeep? Looks like something off a Series 3 or 4.
I'm not sure where he got it, but it does look pretty nice!

Found out it's called the "Safari Top". Definitely conjures up and image of LRs on safari in Africa!
Another Awesome video. Are going to Cruise Moab in April?
Most definitely!
Jeep at 19:43 in....looks like to much air in tires ?
Maybe. It was also just pretty steep and slippery. Thanks for watching!
Did you get that mud on the fresh detail? Awesome video.
The detail was after this trail! 😄
@@offroadhub.official Good call but they never stay clean long enough. 😂

@@travisandrewhale Thank you so much for the info.
It's a nice looking top!
Awesome 🔛🔝👍💪
Fun day good time 👍👍
Thanks Allan!
Nice Beard!
she looks a little more rugged now : )
Name of campground? Great video.
Thank you! Mescal Mountain OHV
It's so crazy to see the suspension at 5:29...it's as if the FJ is just floating on top of some bizarre machine. #mrsoffroadhub
Looks like another FJ owner was down there at the pond contemplating life decisions! @3:34
We yelled down to them, they weren't interested. 😄

It would depend on the side by side I think.
Whats your favorite AZ trail?
That would be impossible to answer! Arizona has so many great ones spread across the entire state.
No deaths is good
😆
That trail is sick a little too extreme for me

Soon!!
I’m beginning to think these trucks are 1/6 scale rc. Look at the size of that antenna on that Jeep
Hey Ken, I think you should air down 😉
Lower than 80 psi?
@@offroadhub.official yea try 75 lol
Didn’t realize it was so cold in Arizona.
In higher elevations it is or can be.
The Desert here get's below freezing at night a lot in the winter. and will be 60's during the day
