Looks grate. As I've just start with my layout I wanted a yard like the one you made for the same reason to do shunting and have fun doing it many thanks for video
Shunting is the best part of model railways for me. Good luck with your build! Mind you your comment was 7 months ago... you might have finished it by now! Ha-ha!
Great name drops for Jenny and BMR, I really appreciate small but detailed layouts for the discerning modeller. Whilst the Goliath loft layout is still my dream of course, not everyone is in the position to throw money about buying the best of everything. I look forward to seeing more of your channel 👍
Thank you, and absolutely about the big goliath layout! I think we all secretly want one of those, but space and cash is of the essence for many of us. I hope to add one or two more modules over the next five years, so when the weather is nice I can string them all out in the garden and run from one end to the other dropping and picking up goods on the way.
Lovely layout! Im just setting up my first shelf for shunting. I wanted to include a variation of puzzles to keep me buisy.. this gave me some inspiration :) Cheers
You have an Inglenook track work 3-3-5 with a loco waiting to shunt and a Timesaver layout in front 👍 Like how you combined both US and British shunting puzzles into that space
Thank you. Yes, when I designed the track plan it HAD to include a 3-3-5 inglenook puzzle for those times when you just can't think what to shunt! Let the puzzle do the work.
It is beautiful layout and story that goes behind the entire design. Like: - the remote uncoupling pads - how you cleverly hide the switches underneath the creamery - double ended modular fiddle yard. Are you planning to do an update "one year later" video? 😄
Hi. Sorry for the late response. I have missed loads of comments. Thank you for yours. I really should do an update, but really lost my mojo recently. I do have more updates on Instagram though.
Very nice layout! I'm looking a long time for a small layout like this. Can you tell me more about the size of it? I want to build it for a project for under glass operating because I have three Enemies more than other modelrailroaders: Cats I want to use Kadee Couplers, spring bumpers and RP 25/C110 Wheels on german Vehicles. The layout will be installed in a showcase in the livingroom.
Hi just watched your video and I think your layout is amazing. I’ve been wanting to do a shunting puzzle for ages but couldn’t think of a plan. What size is your shunting yard please. 😊
Thank you very much. A brewery will be great for shunting and lost of details. The scenic board is 1200mm x 450mm - so yours will be bigger! The two fiddle yards are 1200mm x 150mm each.
The control box, I like the different colours for each section, very well done. I might need to copy that some day. 😊
Thank you. It does help the half blind like me!

Looks like lots of Funting Shun to be had😀
Absolutely! And I do regularly!
I really do love those decouplers such a great idea
Thank you. They could do with a bit of refinement, though! Maybe on the next module!
Really rather splendid work I think - well done! Joachim
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
What brilliant shunting layout, detail and track looks perfect.
Thank you!
Brilliant start dib well done
Thank you, Fred!

I’d love a track plan of your layout - looks great thx
I'll try and find one. I don't really have one on paper! 😂

It is 1200mm x 450 mm - so very small!
Great idea for the show case. I would love to have a layout in a glass topped coffee table!
"Funting", heh... I like it =)
I do love a word mash-up!

Sorry only just spotted your comment. Mine is 1200mm x 450 mm for the scenic board. Each fiddle yard (one on each end) is 1200mm x 150mm.
Great channel."thumbs up"

@@medwaymodelrailway7129 - well thank you. The content will be sporadic when I get stuff worth putting up. 😁👍
This looks Awesome , could you do a film about how your uncoupling devices were made ?
Certainly, next time the board is upside down, I'll take a few clips about them and try and stitch something together.
And thank you, BTW.
I've made a start, but it may be a week or two before it's complete and up loaded
Hi @Adrian McCarthy. The video is just uploading to this channel now.
Nice one, man. Good layout, nice and cuTTe(!) :3
Thank you!
Happy funting 👍🚂
😂😂 Always! You just can't funt enough in this world!
