A Singaporean here... Just wanna say I like that you guys took some time to introduce each place in such details that you went to, which i do not often see in videos of youtubers who travelled to SG. Good job to the homework done! 👍🏻
Singapore is so gorgeous and cool! The light show and gardens were just beautiful! Loved the murals and the colorful town. What a fantastic 21 hours! Great job!
Singapore is from the future. What a super cool city. I loved 😍 both those light shows, the food at the end of the day looked amazing . You two looked so exhausted crawling out of bed 🛌 at the hote before your flight. Kona is the sweetest pup, so excited to see you guys. l
I so enjoyed your journey through Singapore, Vietnam, etc. Not only was I entertained, but I learned a great deal as well. Your enthusiasm comes across. You must be in the 'pinch me zone' realizing that you get to do this and making it work. I'm looking forward to your next adventure. Roll on.
Hey Adam and Kat from Singapore! Chanced upon your channel when I watched your Vietnam adventures last week. Been binging your Alaskan/Canadian adventures ever since. You guys have really opened my eyes to how beautiful and stunning Alaska can be, and I am so thankful to you guys for sharing your adventures with the world. Glad you’ve enjoyed Singapore and if you ever come back here, it’d be my greatest honor to show you guys around!
Hello! We're glad we could share our amazing Alaska and Canada adventures! We had a blast out there and can't wait to go back one day! We also really enjoyed Singapore! Thank you and thanks for watching!
From its stunning skyline to its diverse cultural offerings, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Whether it's the bustling city life, the beautiful gardens, or the delicious food, Singapore has a lot to offer
Oh my word, Gardens of the Bay looked amazing! We have lots of 'English Gardens' here in England (funnily enough!) and I am impartial to visiting them, but these gardens in Singapore were on a whole other level! The price felt pretty steep, but I guess there's an awful lot of technology, it's not just the plants. The Spectre light show reminded me a lot of Christmas at Kew that Kew Gardens puts on - very cool that it's free as Kew certainly isn't! I hadn't realised just how cool Singapore is. We're flying Singapore Airlines to Vietnam, via Singapore, and now I'm regretting now giving us a longer layover. Maybe next time we head east we do it then!
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the experience. Singapore is indeed a vibrant and modern city with a wide range of attractions and activities to explore
That's awesome! The tree forest was incredible. Just added singapore to my bucket list. You guys packed in a ton in that layover! And your dog was soooooo happy to see you!
Your bloops just crack me up!! “See our pours”😂😂! Thanks for taking the 21 hour tour WOW you covered a lot. However, Kona stole the show what a happy pup!! Great video guys! ~Cara ❤
Your adventures in Mexico and Asia are absolutely amazing and we’ve enjoyed them so much! Glad you’re back home with your Kona and I hope you get rested up. ❤
Thanks for purposely choosing a layover in Singapore. Such a wonderfully done video! Even though you only had a day but you guys still took effort to research a bit of history and background of the places you visited. Awesome! Your dog is so cute :D
I am opening up a satay restaurant in rural Malaysia and couldn't think of a good name for it, but you've given me the perfect one - "Satay Roulette". The logo will be a roulette wheel with different sticks of satay instead of the black and red stripes. Thanks!
That is awesome! Glad we could help! We'll send you our address for royalties! 😂 totally joking! The best of luck with your satay restaurant. We hope we can visit one day!
You guys are so underrated!!! You two do an amazing job. I genuinely enjoy your videos. Your videos are informative, entertaining, with great quality videos. Thank you!!!
I will plan to go to Singapore, I've chosen Singapore as a country for my project. This is because Singapore is my dream destination within SE asia. Adventures of A+K, please visit the Philippines, my home country when you revisit asia in the next following months, and years.
Fantastic video. You two are so well suited for each other. You both are up to trying all kinds of food and love hiking and taking risks. You show us a totally different view of all the locations you visit and this makes us fall in love with all these fabulous places. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures. 🌻🐕🥰
This video brought back so many memories of my trip there in 2008. I stayed on the street where the first mosque was, and also had murtabak at Zam Zams. But much has changed as well - it was great to see, thanks, Andrew
hi guys, so enjoyed your excursions though out asia, that was incredible, so enjoyable, the scenery, the exciting crazy moments, WHOW, what else can I say. The lay over in SIN, words cannot describe the beauty of that city...And now your home, Kona so happy. Time to rest and gather. Looking forward to the next!! Enjoy being home!!!
Glad you enjoyed the trip to Asia and Singapore. I bought my overseas friend to tour Singapore for 10 days, which was not enough. Though Singapore is small, there are many places to check out. When you are back in Singapore, I recommend visiting the NUS Baba House, Joo Chiat area, and all the Peranakan culture which is a unique ethnic group. There are also many different communities living in Singapore that you can visit.
You continue to tell such beautiful travel stories - thanks again for taking us along in your adventures. For many of us, we'll never be able to visit some of these unique and special places. Yet others will. You make it better for all of us!
This was just AMAZING! It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to watch your videos, but I’ve been binging with plenty of coffee 😂. Have you both thought about what you’re going to after you visit the last 7 states? Maybe revisiting areas you’ve enjoyed the most or more exploring? Or more international travel? I also finally have a potential short bus to outfit!!! I’m hoping the owner will except my offer, then the fun begins! You both are the ones who inspired and opened my eyes to a different way of life ever since I stumbled on your channel 3-4 years ago. I’ll be documenting my build as well (hoping that the sale goes through), but it would such an honor to meet you guys on the road! Thank you for all you do. God bless and stay safe!
A grand finale! Fantastic video to end your epic trip to the East. I am sure you guys will have many more. Glad Katherine enjoyed eating Biriyani. Biriyani has a cult like following in that part of the world. Looking forward to more of your travels.
You two kids are so awesome! I enjoy watching your escapades and traveling through your adventures. Thank you for bringing us along on your journeys!!!!
I'm impressed by all your research shared live during your experiences n not post edited (not that there's anything wrong with that) but most wud jus capture the scenes then add the voice over facts after. Glad u loved my country ❤
singapore's weather is probably one of the craziest...one moment you feel like your skin is burning off and you're turning liquid, and the next it could be pouring for hours. anyways this was a great video! it got me as a singaporean to appreciate the amazing country that i live in more! hope you guys get more time in another trip to explore singapore even more and experience the many different cultures, food and attractions here!!
Kona really missed you & Adam! The Singapore Airport was beautiful. Enjoyed seeing the water shows, & especially loved the tree themed show. Coincidence, my new pjs are made in Vietnam. The nicest material, comfortable. I really enjoyed your Asia trip. Hope you have a nice Memorial Day.
We missed her terribly too! It was bitter sweet coming home, but Kona was definitely the sweet! Comfy Vietnamese pjs for the win! Thank you and thanks for watching, Kimberly!
You guys are amazing! My wife and I love watching your adventures. We have learned so much, and we have used a lot of your advice on what to do on our vacations. We also love Kona! We have a little Yorkie that we travel with, so we love that you say where the dog friendly trails are. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
It was an epic trip! We were very sad to leave, but we know we'll be back! And we were so happy to see our Kona girl! Thank you and thanks for watching!
First time watch your channel. I love your funny presentation. Your commentary about the places of interest are so facts packed, informative as well as educational in a professional way.
Guys! My GF got her next contract and it's in (drum roll...) Redding California! It doesn't start until July, so we set off on an epic road trip from Florida across the country and visited Badlands, Custer State Park and the Black Hills in South Dakota, then headed across Montana and took a detour to (even louder drum roll...) Glacier Nat'l Park, then we cruised into Washington and have been staying in a town called Burlington where one day we visited North Cascades Nat'l Park and the next day we were in a little coastal town called Anacortes and a State Park called "Deception Pass". It has been EPIC and tomorrow we move to a city called Silverdale, right across from Seattle. We will be staying there a solid month, exploring (super loud drum roll with cymbals crashing...) Seattle, Olympic Nat'l Park and Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park! When that month is over we are taking another 10-day epic road trip down the entire Oregon coast, then heading into Northern California to see the Redwoods, until finally arriving in Redding. *Whew*!! We couldn't be more excited! We have been using your guides and of course are always grateful and inspired by your travel lives! You guys set an example of what it can mean to live your best lives and we couldn't be more happy to have changed ours to prioritize adventuring over stagnation. We are so lucky and grateful to be able to do this. There is so much to see and we ain't gettin' any younger! Thanks you guys for all the inspiration!
Ah heck yeah! That is an EPIC trip! Y'all really packed it in! We're so pumped for y'all to experience the PNW! It's still our favorite part of the country. Your comment means a lot to us and we're glad we could help in anyway! Thanks for using our guides and watching! You're right there is so much to see and do! Do it now while you can! Thanks for sharing about your trip. If there's two things you do in Redding make it these: hike the Castle Dome trail at Castle Crags State Park and then go eat a burger at YAKS on the 5!
Thank you again for taking the time recording the video and editing given your tight schedule. There is also free admission to the night shows in Singapore. Hope you had a great time in Asia and Singapore!
What a trip! We were amazed by all that you guys got see and do! We are heading to Alaska Tuesday! Crossing the border Mid-Day Tuesday! 😳 You were our inspiration!
Had a very nice tour in Singapore in 1994. It looks very different now, with lots of new stuff. Perhaps it's time to check it out again. Must be n times better than then.
Great video Adam and Katie ! That is the coolest way to make up for a flight layover! Singapore is Awesome! Watching Konas reaction was heart warming ! As they say a Dog is a man's best friend ! 🐶❤
Watched your video. Noticed you were here during a weekday. actually for hawker center options there are a few that is near lao pa sat that are not touristy like lao pa sat. There's even one near your hotel. Near your hotel 1) Albert complex food centre. At Bugis. Right beside Singapore’s most famous and popular Chinese temple. Near merlion and lao pa sat: 1) market street food center. New hawker right inside capital spring tower. 2) Amoy food centre (morning - lunch only )
The hawker centres here do offer food within the $5 range. Most bus interchanges are near the hawker centre. I recommend those near the East side( Tampines, Bedok, etc), the chicken rice and the Mee Soto there are the best.
Hey guys! Just an idea-could you maybe do a vid on how much it cost you guys do to the whole trip like going over the individual items you spent on? Idk if that’s invasive but it could help us get an idea on budgeting a big trip to hop around parts of Asia post start of covid? Thanks for taking us to see some of the fun spots!
Hey Mike! We planned on sharing our budget and how much we spent in some way (video or on our website), but we didn't do a very good job keeping track and spent more than we hoped. So sharing it wouldn't have been very helpful. But we did create two guides on our website, one for planning a trip to Vietnam and another about our top tips for visiting. Hope those help! adventuresofaplusk.com/planning-a-trip-to-vietnam/ adventuresofaplusk.com/vietnam-tips Thank you and thanks for watching!
Reminds me of a combination Disney-Epcot-Las Vegas strip on steroids. Really enjoyed traveling with you two. I also teared up when reunited with Kona. Glad to see you home safely. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
We loved this trip video series! It looks like you all just traveled with backpacks. Is that right? I’d love a video about what you pack etc for a trip like this!
Hi Kim! We created a guide on our website for planning a trip to Vietnam where we talk about how we packed for our trip. It includes a link to our general packing list plus highlights specific items you'll want to bring with you to Asia. adventuresofaplusk.com/planning-a-trip-to-vietnam Hope that helps! Thanks and thanks for watching!
One of your best videos yet! Gave me goosebumps. You honestly picked the best 3 things in SG in the Arabic Quarter, Gardens by the Bay, and Hawker Center. Sunset on the OCBC skyway followed by the light show was one of the most magical moments ever. I'm in the New Braunfels area for the summer, would be amazing to run into y'all and talk travel! Currently planning 2 around the world trips for August-November and it's exhausting lol
We had a great time in Singapore! Hope to spend more time there in the future! So much to see and do! Not a bad spot to be for the summer. Make sure to get on the water to cool off! We actually have already hit the road for most of the rest of the year. But if you see us around some time say hi! Good luck planning your trips!
if you ever travel between malaysia KL and singapore in the future, there is an alternative flight between subang airport in malaysia and seletar airport in singapore. nothing to do in seletar airport compared to changi since it is very small, but you avoid the crowds at changi and KLIA, immigration process is very fast, and subang airport is closer to the KL city center compared to KLIA
I love that you guys showed an older, more traditional neighborhood in addition to the main tourist areas. I recently went to Dubai, which gives me pretty similar vibes, and the modern areas were very cool, but my favorite area was the old part of the city. Sometimes as tourists, it's easy to forget the history of these futuristic cities, so thanks for sharing that with us. Also P.S. I, too, have failed to keep a succulent alive. I'm relieved I'm not the only one. 😂
Love love loved watching you experience Singapore for the first time (this video and the first). We're lucky, being in Perth it's just a 4.5 hour flight so Singapore's a regular spot for us (about to head up for the 12th time). Super cool to see you at ZamZam - next time try their chicken murtabak, it is divine!
Singapore 🇸🇬 is not your typical South East Asia city that you have visited i.e. Thailand🇹🇭, Philippines 🇵🇭, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Indonesia 🇮🇩, Vietnam 🇻🇳, Cambodia 🇰🇭, Myanmar 🇲🇲 or even Brunei 🇧🇳. A combination of Modern Architecture surrounded by old British 🇬🇧 colonial buildings with lush foliage on the skyscrapers. Very westernized and contemporary yet still preserve the old rustic looks of old village settings. The price of accommodation and food tends to be on the pricey side if you dine on a mostly touristy flank. Go to hawker centers for cheaper options in Singapore 🇸🇬. There is plenty of it here and to approximate is beyond comparison. Hope you relish the adventure of staying here in Singapore 🇸🇬. Kampong Glam:- The word 'kampong' means "compound" in Malay, while 'gelam' refers to the long-leaved paperbark tree, commonly found in the area and used for boat-making. Kampong Glam:- Neighbourhood in Singapore, Centred on busy Arab Street, Kampong Glam is known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter. It's 19th-century shophouses have been turned into stores selling textiles and casual restaurants serving spicy Malay and global fare. Notable landmarks here include the golden domed Sultan Mosque and the Malay Heritage Centre, where exhibits focus on local history. Clothing boutiques, street art and trendy cafes line Haji Lane. Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore and a landmark of the city. At its opening in 2010, it was deemed the world's most expensive standalone casino property at S$8 billion (US$6.88 billion). The resort includes a 2,561-room hotel, a 120,000-square-metre (1,300,000 sq ft) convention-exhibition centre, the 74,000-square-metre (800,000 sq ft) The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands mall, a museum, a large theatre, "celebrity chef" restaurants, two floating crystal pavilions, art-science exhibits, and the world's largest atrium casino with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines. The complex includes three towers topped by the Sands Skypark, a skyway connecting 340-metre-long (1,120 ft) with a capacity of 3,902 people and a 150 m (490 ft) infinity swimming pool, set on top of the world's largest public cantilevered platform, which overhangs the north tower by 66.5 m (218 ft). The 20-hectare resort was designed by Moshe Safdie architects. The Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares (250 acres) in the Central Region of Singapore 🇸🇬, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden (in Marina South), Bay East Garden (in Marina East) and Bay Central Garden (in Downtown Core and Kallang). The largest of the gardens is the Bay South Garden at 54 hectares (130 acres) designed by Grant Associates. Its Flower Dome is the largest glass greenhouse in the world. "Lau Pa Sat (Chinese: 老巴刹; pinyin: Lǎo Bāshā; lit. 'Old Market'), also known as Telok Ayer Market (Malay: Pasar Telok Ayer; Chinese: 直落亚逸巴刹), is a historic building located within the Downtown Core in the Central Area of Singapore 🇸🇬. It was first built in 1824 as a fish market on the waterfront serving the people of early colonial Singapore 🇸🇬 and rebuilt in 1838. It was then relocated and rebuilt at the present location in 1894. It is currently a food court with stalls selling a variety of local cuisine". "Lau Pa Sat remains one of the oldest Victorian structures in South-East Asia and one of the first structures built in pre-fabricated cast iron in Asia. It is also the only remaining market left that served the residents in the central district of early Singapore 🇸🇬".

Singapore is so gorgeous and cool! The light show and gardens were just beautiful! Loved the murals and the colorful town. What a fantastic 21 hours! Great job!
We love how the city is so full of gardens and greenery!
Unfortunately due to being sleep deprived I forgot all about the light show in the harbour make sure I see it next time.
Singapore is a country that I have always wanted to visit ❤
Singapore is from the future. What a super cool city. I loved 😍 both those light shows, the food at the end of the day looked amazing . You two looked so exhausted crawling out of bed 🛌 at the hote before your flight. Kona is the sweetest pup, so excited to see you guys. l

Over the years, I have seen pictures of Singapore and it looked beautiful and modern. Thanks for sharing your 21 hours in Singapore; wonderful video!!

There is nothing better than coming home after a long day of work to a new A+K video. Awesome.
Singapore looks so futuristic, but I loved all the nature you guys got to see.
Oh my word, Gardens of the Bay looked amazing! We can’t wait to come back!
Amazing that you guys are also able to include so much facts about Singapore and the individual attractions. 💪
Your bloops just crack me up!! “See our pours”😂😂!

Congrats on a fabulous trip to SE Asia. I must get there someday. Kona sure was glad to see mom and dad. Thanks for sharing.

@@AdventuresofAplusK We will definitely do those things and thanks for the suggestions!
Woohoo! We're so excited for you! Have a great and safe trip!
You guys did such a great job with this video!!! Its easily one of the best Singapore travel vids out there!
Had a very nice tour in Singapore in 1994. It looks very different now, with lots of new stuff. Perhaps it's time to check it out again. Must be n times better than then.
It's my first time seeing one of ur vids and I LOVE IT y'all now are one of my best TH-cam vloggers ❤
I love how big foodies yall are !!! Love all videos A + K
Loved the video!! Commentary, editing, and education were so good!
Thank you!
Great video Adam and Katie ! That is the coolest way to make up for a flight layover! Singapore is Awesome! Watching Konas reaction was heart warming ! As they say a Dog is a man's best friend ! 🐶❤
Singapore was so amazing! We hope to spend more time there in the future! We were so happy to see our girl, Kona! Thanks, Ernesto!
Welcome to Singapore!🤩🤗
Watched your video. Noticed you were here during a weekday.
actually for hawker center options there are a few that is near lao pa sat that are not touristy like lao pa sat. There's even one near your hotel.
Near your hotel
1) Albert complex food centre. At Bugis.
Right beside Singapore’s most famous and popular Chinese temple.
Near merlion and lao pa sat:
1) market street food center.
New hawker right inside capital spring tower.
2) Amoy food centre (morning - lunch only )
thanks for sharing!
Really not easy for you to make such a good quality clip even though you had a short number of hours
Thanks and thanks for watching!
In 5 days I am heading to Singapore for a stopover. Thanks for the video. It’s been really helpful

Awesome Video! Love the energy🤩🙌
Enjoyed the series. Welcome Back to the USA.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Awesome watching your video on SIN, love the reseach done on the history. 🙂👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Another great video ty
Reminds me of a combination Disney-Epcot-Las Vegas strip on steroids. Really enjoyed traveling with you two. I also teared up when reunited with Kona. Glad to see you home safely. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
Yeah we can see that comparison! It was bitter sweet leaving Asia, but we were so happy to see our Kona girl!
We loved this trip video series! It looks like you all just traveled with backpacks. Is that right? I’d love a video about what you pack etc for a trip like this!
SAME! PLEASE TEACH US HOW TO PACK 🥲♥️
Hi Kim! We created a guide on our website for planning a trip to Vietnam where we talk about how we packed for our trip. It includes a link to our general packing list plus highlights specific items you'll want to bring with you to Asia.

Hope that helps! Thanks and thanks for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Fantastic! I’ll check it out. Thanks!
A fast and fun 21 hours in Singapore! Loved it all! ❤
Wow sweet was your reunion was with Kona?!🥰
Thank you!
We were just as happy to see her as she was us! So glad to be back with our Kona girl!
Super cool city!
Well done, yet again! Get some good west and wewaxation!
if you ever travel between malaysia KL and singapore in the future, there is an alternative flight between subang airport in malaysia and seletar airport in singapore. nothing to do in seletar airport compared to changi since it is very small, but you avoid the crowds at changi and KLIA, immigration process is very fast, and subang airport is closer to the KL city center compared to KLIA
Thanks for the info!
Good window shopping in Singapore hey !
I enjoy everything you guys do
I love that you guys showed an older, more traditional neighborhood in addition to the main tourist areas.
We always love visiting the older parts of major cities, probably even more than the newer areas!
Those dang succulents! 😂
You are living my dream life!
Oh wow that's so cool! We can't wait to visit more of that part of the world! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Kampong Glam:-
The word 'kampong' means "compound" in Malay, while 'gelam' refers to the long-leaved paperbark tree, commonly found in the area and used for boat-making.
Kampong Glam:-
Neighbourhood in Singapore, Centred on busy Arab Street, Kampong Glam is known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter.
We shared a lot of this in this video 😊 Thanks for adding more!
Look forward to your return trip
