@@spaman5440 I’ve got an FL1 error on my J235. The number 1 jets aren’t working and it isn’t heating but the number 2 jets all run ok. Does that suggest it’s the flow valve? Or is there some second pump somewhere for the number 2 jets? Great vid thanks 👍
Yes who ever put that second screw in the back of the bracket dose suck that made me laugh it's nice to see a real human being suffering along side with us thank you for making this video
I figured out the flow switch negative and positive connector came unattached.... all I had to do was plug back in. Thank God o didn't go out buying all kinds of parts or pay an service guy 100s for an easy fix
The vinyl tubing on the suction side of the circulation pump should be the stuff with the webbing in it thats rated for a vacuum. If the length of tubing is too long, the hot water will soften the vinyl tubing and the negative pressure will cause it close up on itself.
Hi. We have some issues of balboa jakuzzi. The main board is working, but the little bubbles not coming through water, also there is over heating sign shows control panel. Please help us to fix it.
Hello Spa Man! Thanks for the great videos. Trying to replace my circulation pump but the black box attached to the back of the panel that is connected to the circulation pump via a tube has another opening that was hooked up to a tube (now stripped off). Trying to fix but I don’t know what this black box even is? Attaching photos
The black box is part of the heater and the part that probably fitting that has a hose attached to it they usually brake quite often. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
You should verify that the bare wire is not a ground wire but a BOND wire bonding all metal to ground. The ground wire is green and is part of the cable supplying voltage to the motor.
Thanks for the great instruction on this unit!! Question: I recently diagnosed a bad recirc pump for a Jacuzzi J325 unit. I removed the pump and tested the flow switch. When I restored power to the unit, the FL1 error code came on. I removed the flow switch and manually tested it closing the switch and reading continuity. I noticed that the error code cleared, the heat light came back on, and immediately after that, the GFCI plug used on this unit, tripped. This happened after the 1/4' barb on the C3226-1A heater snapped off and water started leaking out of it. Is it possible that the heater electrical connection box could be shorted out? I appreciate your help.
I've had nothing but troubles with the Laing pumps lately. The first original one on my hot tub lasted a good 10 years. The second maybe 7 years. The third lasted only 1 month. The free warranty replacement just died and it only lasted maybe 16 months. Now I need a new one. Each time you can hear the impeller try to rotate and vibrate then nothing. I watched a few videos where people just change the $95 impeller. Some say the impeller gets out of balance. I've also watched quite a few videos where people just change the Laing pumps out for Grundfos. The Grundfos circulation pumps are a traditional style pump.
Thanks for the video, I just have a question for you. I was looking online, and I noticed that the FLO Could also mean that the circulation pump isnt working. If the jets turn on, does that mean the pump is working? Also, do you have any idea why the jets automatically turn off by themselves?
Thanks for the video. I had an intermittent Fl1 error. I fixed it by replacing the flow switch. After a couple of months, the Fl1 came back and the heating stopped. The flow switch is working so I guess its the circulation pump. The question is my Jacuzzi has two jet pumps, one on each side of the pack. Do I need to pull the jet pump om the right to get the circulation pump out or can I sneak it through.
Hi I’ve got a 2009 led J325 tub, temp fault issue, so I can get a flow switch but I am struggling to get the temp sensor in the skimmer but I can get one for a more recent lcd model that looks a little different, are they interchangeable?

The other day went out and had FL1 again. Replaced filters, used garden hose to purge air, but no sound from circ pump. Tried your screwdriver trick to test flow switch and when I touch both prongs the heater does not activate. Any next ideas?

I have bubbles coming out of the recirc pump outlet so its working. I will try to jump the connections on the flow connector like you discussed in another video.
