  • In this video I will be sharing my final thoughts on my one year mini twist journey. I had my twist in from October 2021 to October 2022 with a small break in between. I have also included a couple of photos to show what my hair looked like before and after the mini twist. I will also link a couple of repeated videos below. Thanks for watching 💕

    May she rest in peace. I see a difference in your comparison pics where thickness and length is concerned. I am wearing twists as well and I am 2 months in. Always enjoy your videos... simple, relatable and you're straight forward. Keep up the good work

    My grandmother passed on Christmas Eve too. She was such a kind believer in Christ and I felt God wanted her to her to spend Christmas with him.💓💝

    I am so sorry for the loss of your grandmother, and all the business you had to handle during your time of grief while starting a new job. You didnt owe us an explanation, but I appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. New subbie here.

    Great progress! You can use your elbows to track your progress. In the July 2021 photos your hair looks to be about 3-4 inches past your elbows. In the October 2022 photos your hair is about 5-7 inches past your elbows. Those are the longest lengths. But the real STAR of your hair growing process are the sides of your hair. Those sides look you've gained some weight 6 inches or more at every layered section. Almost all the hair that was above your yellow sleeves has grown to or past your sleeves. That's a lot of growth. Your hair looks like it is dropping in length in every section of your hair: back, side, top and front! Continued Happy Healthy Hair Growing!

    I leaned into mini twists bc it was the natural style that most closely mimicked my straight hair…literally same ease of styling…but i could blow it dry after workouts and it allowed me to go 3-4 weeks between washes where as straight hair is about two weeks. I install super mini twists (look like starter sister locks) on blown out hair then i curl the ends at the end. I usually keep them in for 4 weeks. Redoing the perimeter every two weeks. Also…yoga can help ur wrist and hands!

    Yes to the hair natural series. There are a lot of us that are transitioning or doing both, curly and straight more often and no longer want to be afraid of hair damage or “texture changes” I just want to wear my hair however floats my boat for the week ❤😅

    I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma 😟I'm glad she got to pass peacefully ❤ For the carpel tunnel you might want to look into some finger & wrist strengthening exercises so it doesn't get progressively worse. It's nice seeing you posting again. Hair looking good as always ☺!

      The cough was the worst part for me. I usually don’t take medicine but I eventually gave in. I was using a combination of Mucinex and DayQuil/NyQuil . I also was eating Ricolas. As long as I wasn’t coughing I was good.
      Thanks 😊

      I think the the product spreads better with the twist. With loose hair I have trouble covering all of my hair.

    If your carpal tunnel syndrome gets worse, you may need to get surgery. But if you stop doing whatever it is that is causing it, you may prevent it getting worse and it may actually go back to normal. I'm not a medical professional, I'm just speaking out of experience.

    • @milami.
      @milami.  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The pain has gone away for the most part. When it was bad I was definitely googling carpal tunnel. Bad idea lol
