Mini Twist Pros & Cons

In this video, I will be discussing the pros and cons of mini twist. I have had my twists in since October. Overall, I have been loving them but there are a few things I can live with out.

I have been wearing twists primarily for about the last 6 months. I agree the style lasts me for about two weeks as well and is very versatile

Do you wash them in the minitwists before refreshing/retwisting. I'm so scared to wash them in twists. Trying to get as much advice as possible.

When i washed my hair with mini twist, once dried.. it matted so bad. it was a nightmare taking them out.

I started doing mini twists as well. Which led me into getting sisterlocks back in March. I really enjoyed my mini twists but the pain in my wrists would lead to several breaks which made a long process even longer.

Braids looks better longer but just harder to take down and less volume

@@milami. You're welcome! Another request or should I say more requests... Can you please show us the different styles you're able to do while in mini twists? Also, you mentioned the method you use to put your hair in a ponytail. Can you show how you do that too? Of course, that would probably be when you take you mini twists out, so whenever you get a chance would be great. Maybe you can do it when you're showing us your length check. Thanks hun! I’m on a mini twist journey as well they helped me grow me hair to mid back length, I let mine stay in up two 3 months 😮 I treat them as if I don’t have them in ( wash & deep condition) , so when I take them down my hair is extremely long and they thick ❤

You mean to tell me you retwist all that hair 😳. Girl get a spray bottle with your preferred amount of leave-in and hot water, apply oil from root to ends, then wrapping foam from root to ends…put on wrapping strips, or a scarf , and sit under the hooded dryer, if you have one.

It wod take you more time but if you do them much smaller they appear longer 😅

I actually did them smaller this time around but it just seems thicker. There not micro but they’re definitely smaller.
