    This is amazing. I'm 63 with arthritis in my hips and run ~30 miles/week. This routine has been life changing. Thank you Vlad!

    I've found this sesh extremely beneficial before hard sessions like speed work & longer intervals. It gets everything well warmed up and draws attention to key muscle groups before the run. Normally after a hard run I'm a bit to beat to perform these balances safely and prefer the roll sesh routine. Many of these vids have been really valuable thanks for posting them.

    Hi, Vlad, I love your channel. I like running all distances from 21 to 100 km :), and my legs and buttock are really stiff. Please provide more sessions like this one, or some similar mix of mobility and streching. I'm doing all yout mobility workouts already and they really help. I usually do 2 sets of them and my muscles are feeling great without afecting my runs afterwards. Before I was doing some supersets like 200 squats, 120 burpies and so on, but with all that exercises it was like my legs were getting shorter :). Adding mobility really helps and I hope I'll get rid of this stubborn pain in my right shin. Good luck!

      if you are a runner im not sure burpies are the best value for you - you get a good cardio workout already from running so you rather want to develop strength, stability and balance

    This was really good. I want to focus on my lower back, glutes and hips to get the movement I need for efficient running.

    Found that this yoga for runners workout felt really good as a mid afternoon yoga today. Especially liked the last two/three moves. Sitting with leg stretched out and twisted reach. After sitting most of today on the floor at my laptop, that stretch out and pop felt Awesome! 👍🏼

    Thanks for sharing this routine and all the other stuff. Really inspiring. I found it a bit too harsh for a morning routine (like first thing you do in the morning). Do you have something that you would specifically recommend for the early hours of the day to wake the body and either prepare for a later workout or just recover? Take care!

    • @VladIxel
      @VladIxel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is very basic yoga - im not sure if you have done any yoga before but this would be as easy as it gets. try and do this workout few times in the second half of the day and after few weeks of doing this session it will be easy to do in the morning

    Do you personally think it is better to do this routine before or after workout? Or both? If I stretch before running I feel like my running style is slightly different. If I stretch afterwards I feel like it enhances my recovery. But 30 minutes of stretching for a workout is a lot of time.

    • @VladIxel

      come back every day and do it again and again, you will get 1% better every time you do this video. Consistently is key 🤝

    Do you remember a time when you couldn't do these yoga positions? That's where I'm at. When you first started, did you start with easier positions or just go for the harder things as best as you could? Or maybe you were just always flexible!

    • @VladIxel
      @VladIxel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      i did yoga classes for like 3 years an was really bad at it but with consistency i got better, just dont over push how deep you go into stretches and rather just aim and do this everyday

    I found this surprisingly difficult. But good. My shoulders started to cramp when I reached around To grab my hips. Why would that be? Thank you.

      just underdeveloped muscles in a few repeats you won't have problems.

    • @VladIxel
      @VladIxel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it will get easier with time, even if you just do part of the workout, as long as you stay consistent you are moving forward
