Great panorama but the point of a dash cam is traffic and reading license plates. It's not impractical. In order to capture "events" which could put you in a legal issue. Using what's on the market is like a blind man with cataracts. Asking for something to be better isn't asking much in this technological society.
Police cams don't even capture plates... aiming for plate recognition at present time is simply unrealistic. It's supposed to capture who hit who and when/how.. etc... the nerd-fanstasy of capturing plates under all conditions is just that... nerd nonsense... you'd have to have a cam running at a max frame rate with a max shutter speed in 4k.... battery, cooling, processor size would be limiting and the cost would be into the thousands... possible? Yes. Marketable? No.
This thinkware's color looks way more accurate than the last one. I have no reference to the area though. Is the sand more reddish out there?
It's close... enough to matter to people? Prolly not.... the viofo is closer to what the eye sees in real life out here
