I really enjoyed watching this. I really love that you are doing this with “a vehicle to expensive to off road” lol. Were you in 4 high or 4 low most of the time?
Thanks for your happy comment... definitely 4L in 1st gear... that will give you an idea of how steep/slow some sections are... when I speed up I'm in 4L drive.... on the obstacles, 4L 1st gear 😃
I hear some squeaking from (I think) the interior of your GX. If that's coming from your rear barn door, let me know. I can PM you an Amazon link to an aftermarket striker that fixed our GX460's rear door squeaking... and it took less than 5 minutes to install.
Cooool!!! Cameras smooth out eveything. I'm surprised you don't have cameras all over your ride with monitors. 360 cameras would be nice when a guy is alone. 🍻🇺🇲
Great video. Thank you for sharing the pointers. In West Africa, people are taking the Toyota Corolla and Nissan Sentra off road, into deserts and rain forests, stock tires, suspension, bumpers and all. You have no idea how capable, off road, a Corolla is until you've spent some time with it alone in the rain forest. You will be amazed! You are correct, off-roading is what you do - not the car! I, too, from time to time enjoy those Subaru Outbacks in the outback.
Nice Video! I have a 2019 Sport 4wd, with a 2 1/2 inch Bilstein lift and 32 inch all terrains. I've been offroading for the past 5 years on sand dunes and desert trails , and have never needed any lockers, KDSS, Atrac, crawl control, or any of that stuff. If I get into trouble I just back up and take a better line. But, also I dont rock crawl. Its not my thing. Most of the time I'm just in 2wd but 4wd has been a must for the harder stuff.
@LEXUSGX460-OFF-ROAD
He doesn't just talk about it, he stares the rattle snake in the eyes and he does it
Great ride along!!!! Keep Grinding!!!! ✌🏾👍🏾
Heck yea! Taking a real gx on the trail! Love how you push your machine brother!
So many Rattlesnake canyons..where is this trail you’re on?
Rattlesnake Canyon California USA
@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD Thx!
Have you added the MTS module to your GX?
Hi we have a 2021 so the MTS module add on doesn't work on 21 or newer... unless something has changed?
How will the mts module improve the vehicle?
@johnrolf4952 by making it easier on the driver to get through difficult terrain. Think of it as cruise control for off-roading.

Thank you. I figured it was pretty steep.
Very nice. A GX that doesn't go offroad is a waste of talent. It's like inviting Lionel Messi to your kid's birthday party to play foosball.

Oh that's all the aftermarket junk on it... likley the sliders/bumper 😆
Beautiful drive and great hiking in that area too. Oh and live music over at Pappy n Harriet's.
so true! ❤️ 😍 💖
Dame bro! I wouldnt def do that alone. Brave man!
Been there twice, not a hard trail. Seen a sprinter van go through their.

I’m getting a lot of confidence and knowledge from your channel 💪🏻
In Dubai we have a better opportunity to go dune bashing! Any tips?

Thank you for your kind words! Sounds like you have a blast offroading ❤️
The GX460 is full-time 4WD.
