    Suppose if operator is using one hand do the activity and keeping one hand idle but activity could have been done by using both hands then in which category did this activity fall value added or non value added?

      If the output is the same than I think you’re going too far. If output is increased when performed with two hands then you are improving your cycle time I’m not sure it qualifies as waste. Maybe waiting? If quality decreases with one handed operation you may have defect waste

      Perhaps this would fall under “Skills”, the 8th waste category that describes underutilized skills or untapped knowledge?
