As a C7 owner, I’ve never had more fun in my life, and it’s easy to keep in good condition, and believe me when I say it’s fast. You’ll not be disappointed with a C7 of any trim.
The c7 is an incredible car for the money, even now with COVID prices. I loved both the Stingray and the Z06. Those were actually one of my first reviews haha
I 2nd that I love my C7 but I damn sure love the C6 Z06

As an owner of a C7 Z51 with a Supercharger , Kooks long tube headers , catted X pipe and a tune, I still think the C6 is much more fun to drive. I'm actually thinking about getting a C6 Z06 in yellow. My C7 is yellow also. Great color on these cars.
Need to have an option on the c7 to have circular tail lights and full panel in rear painted one color
The 7 liter LS7 is a beast of an engine, even before mods.
On the C7 M7 Z51...if you put it in track mode, you can keep the gas pedal pinned down,slam the clutch and shift at red line, it will not over rev...no lift shift is built in. The person driving the C7 lost time on those shifts no lift vs that shift in the video is a huge difference. 😬

I owned a 2006 c6 Zo6 and they are fast cars..3rd gear is nasty.I now have a c7 stingray that I procharged..it’s a beast 592 at the wheels...

My brother has a F1A procharger on his c7 just like yours same color everything hes at 610 to the wheels.

The C6 Z06 is Lighter in Weight and has more Horse Power and More Torque. Aslo the price is about the same for both used Vettes.

Jeff Zahnd no it’s really not now unfortunately:( I’m currently on the market and the C7 is actually a bit cheaper... the C6 Z has gained a lot of clout making it may more expensive. A youtuber made a video how it’s average price has gone up 13 K on the used market since 2016, it truly breaks my heart as I really want a C6 Z

Sweet runs! I am getting ready to get a C6 or C7. I Have been leaning towards a C6 and then just add the Radio and Camera along with the performance Mods. Wish they let the C6 Z06 top come off. I am probably going with a Grand Sport, unless I don't do a StingRay. I like the smooth look of the C6 a bit better.

That's a tough choice! I'd take the Z06 for power and weight, but the c7's immaculate interior/exterior design is tough to beat. From what the owner of the C6 has told me, no he hasn't.
The C-6 Z06 is much lighter plus your 70 hps over the grand sport from the start, you'll pay a little bit more but its the best bang for the buck!

From the sounds of his shifting it probably was an auto with 7/8 paddle shifter...my guess.
Not sure what’s in this guys tune but no one picks up 75rwhp from a tune, CAI, and headers on a C6Z. My car had a nice cam, full exhaust to include long tubes, CAI intake to include a FAST and I made 563 on the dyno during tuning. My guess is with your models… you made maybe 510ish. Probably a little less.
I find a lot of bullshit comments too, there’s always a few motorheads, rather knuckleheads who’s always selling wolf tickets about some modifications they have done, such bs and exaggeration .
Both are sweet rides. On the flyby shot taken from the roadside, the C7 sounds better in my opinion unless the C6 driver had already let off of the gas. I was expecting the LS7 to sound better.
I think he still has the stock mufflers on his car, I was expecting it to be a lot louder tbh.
C6z are to goood for the price & keeps up with a lot w a great driver!

Shit the c6z06 beats on the c7z06 too. I’m seeing a lot of videos and it’s winning almost everyone of them. The c7z06 is 300 lbs more and the gears are shorter that must be causing it to be slower as I thought it would be quicker buy alot more but it’s not.
I can confirm this! We never got to put the two Z's together, but after VERY high speeds the C6 would just bust on the C7.
The driver in the C6 shifts early every time. My C5 Z06 stays with C7 GS's stock for stock ffs. At the last half mile event I trapped the same as a new C8 too. The C6 Z06 is faster than all Corvettes except the C6 ZR1 and C7 Z06.
No way a C5 Z stays with a C7 stock for stock.

Can anyone tell me please? Because I was gonna originally get a C6Z but hard hitting acceleration is the most important factor to me.... so might as well just get a C7 stingray being as they’re lower priced on the used market than a C6Z is now
I'm debating between the two as well. The C7 probably picks up faster because of the closer gear ratios meanwhile the C6 Z06 has a wider powerband, its 2nd gear goes up to about 90MPH. The C7 second gear I think is around 70MPH depending on the final drive gear.

A year late with this response but the C7 hits harder at 20 if both are in 2nd gear. The issue here I think is that the guy in the C6 should be in 1st for better response. I've owned a C7 with z51 and now have a C6 Z06. At first it feels less snappy until you realize you just need to be in a lower gear. The C6Z definitely pulls harder. More wheel spin issues can also make it slower. Mine spins at full throttle in 1st up to 50.

HCI C6 Z06 is about 630-650hp, lighter, more aerodynamic and higher top speed 200+mph with tune. Stock C7Z06 will be left behind.
