Man that's almost exactly like my old Vette. I had 12 reliable, grin-inducing years with that car. To each his own but it has always been cheaper, stronger and more reliable to a mod a GS to outperform a Z plus you get a more rigid frame and targa top! Even brand you, it was cheaper AND faster to drop off your GS at Katech and have them build a bullet proof 600HP+ 427 LS3 than buying a stock Z06. No dropped valves either! That still applies now. If you wanna go N/A, the LS3 is a stronger block to build up and STILL costs you less in the end than a Z. I can totally understand why someone would still prefer a Z06 despite that. Do what makes you happiest but no matter what you spend on your Z, you will ALWAYS go faster by spending the same total budget on a GS if you include price of the car. If 1/4 mile is your thing.......you can build a solid 9 second S/C GS for the price of a bone stock Z06 of the same year.

Great Vid KUDOS to the emphasis on engine sound,You jus made my idea complete of a super car for the "low" tickets do not care wat ppl say soooo imma gonna build one like this same EVERYTHING!
Right now, I am trolling in the C4 man. Definitely dream of a C6 no doubt.
A 427 and a tremec six speed, what a machine
You need to make your harnesses tight brotha.
A stroker c6Z putting down 850whp all motor sounds like alot of fun
The LS 7 motor was probably the best V-8 muscle car engine Chevy ever made. He's right, it's the one motor that sounds so freaking good just as an N/A that you almost don't need to do anything with it. It's pretty bad@$$ just the way it is...and the sound is legendary.
Guido sitting position...you look like you're about to take a nap vs positioned to drive a sports car.
I have a 2008 jet stream blue love the car head done Katech Lot of up grades
My 2007 Z06 LS7 is loud but not that loud. Sounds sweet
Man that's almost exactly like my old Vette. I had 12 reliable, grin-inducing years with that car. Sadly after the top-end build and big cam just like this i became dependent on my tuner who decided to leave town. Nothing but trouble after that and I got tired of constant niggles and dodging the smog guys every couple years so I sold her. I sure miss that car though..:)
Yellow is the best color. What you mean you don't like yellow
Love that clip in after the Viper stuff of you going to hyperspace. Crazy!
The sound of all sounds on this thing!
By far the best looking vette ever made and a true driver car compared to the other vettes
Thank you for skipping the whole new balance/jorts boomer thing. Great review! Sounds amazing and looks like such a blast to drive.
Nothing beats the sound of an American V8.
Based on the sound alone. Gets me thumbs up….finally a rowdy. Nasty sound you can hear on my crappy speakers, in person? Good lord. ………..ty. Algorithms
Looking to get me a c5 in a year or 2. One of these would be great though
You guys don’t know what that chop does to me, I can’t even explain the feeling I get lol
Glad we could fuel the addiction
Luv it 4 daily driving but the2019 zr1 for investing and prestige ❤❤❤❤
How can anyone talk bad about a c6
I trust me, i love my C6, the interior just sucks and wish GM made it look good like the same gen camaros in its year
One word. Interior.
@@lrballistics its my only pet peeve about my c6 lol, very outdated compared to its competitors
I love the interior. Everything now is just computer screens everywhere 🤢
Idiots that complain about the C6's interior have NO clue what owning and driving a C6 is all about. You want a nice interior, then go buy a Lexus.
Nice sled, 600 WHP, the engine and suspension have been tweaked just s touch, well done
Nicely put together car. Can tell its a reliability build, you can definitely make well over 700hp in a 441 LS7 with h/c/i
But 700 is plenty for a c6z. No need to push it to 800 or 900 hp
Got scat rods and Mahle pistons in my 2110cc vw bug. 😝
American Beauty, American dream.❤ love the NA.
C6 = My Fav Generation of Corvette
100% chance any C8 owner would just love to see this build, too.. hard to troll vettes with vettes, just makes us happier ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not everyone will agree, but I'll put the sound of an LS7 with exhaust right up there with the 5.2 Voodoo.
11:47 I was going to get an M5 but realized they need new main caps after 120k miles. Nothing beats built over bought. I have seen C3 Vettes come back in modern style however sometimes get tired of the same ol same ol factory cars still trying to wow us. 11:47.
they'll either run out of balls or run out of gas at 140, "then you let the big dog do its magic " bubbles from TPB
This thing looks better than c7 and c8 wow
This is my favorite corvette.
Soon as he said "bilschtein"... i was done🤣
Sounds sick, very nice build.
na ftw. have a built 6L with fairly aggressive cam in a holden ute. love it. next time it’s getting stroked
Which recaro seats? Which model/part number?
It's just laughing so menacingly at idle. Fuckn fantastic
Insane!
I’d buy this and put the little boy pissing on a Porsche sticker on the back
