How to build a double gate for wood fence

I don't know much about anything, and what you're doing is gonna take me two days.....but...
Shouldn't the bottom of that brace be into the hinged side of the gate and not the bottom?

How wide is this gate by chance? Could you do this method with a 11-12ft double gate?
