The fish pun compilation didn't have the "dolphinitely" from the synchronized team task so I can only assume alex regularly makes fish puns outside of that task
@@anitagielen6850a dolphin is a fish, tho. So is a porpoise or a whale. I know that, scientifically, they are mammals, but we’re not scientists, and this is not a scientific context. It’s a comedy show. In the context of regular people living or regular lives, we encounter a dolphin much more like we’d encounter a shark than how we’d encounter a horse. The word “fish” in a science context means cold blooded, gill breathing, evolved a certain way, etc. but, the word “fish” in a non science context means lives in the water. So, dolphins are fish.

EricGifford only exception is Ashling in my opinion. She can really grind my gears at some points.
@@awesomechainsaw I'd agree with you. Bob and Sally have been my favorite contestants thus far. I try to just overlook Ashling, honestly.
EricGifford I really Like Bob, Sally, and Nish. As well as Romesh, and Josh for their insane additions to the prize pool.
@@awesomechainsaw hmm, tastes differ I guess. I really enjoy her in this!

I think this is the only time in 15 series that have telecasted so so far that an episode didn't end with the TM theme tune. Truly deserving and iconic song.
And it feels so right to end it this way. Such a wonderful song
37:56 all of them (especially Nish) being so excited that Rosalind was in the audience was the purest thing ever

Granted, if the other team was given 4 points nothing would have changed so they could have broken tradition with no impact on relative scores.
"I'm always seeing you (do cool stuff)" is a song about not measuring up to a person but its fine because they are amazing
and I think that summarizes task master pretty wonderfully
I really love this comment. Surely most of us have admired someone fully knowing they are so many levels above us that we have no hopes to measuring up to them. Usually these people are actors or singers, but why not a Japanese translator?
33:00 When Mark hits the drum fill he's looking so happy, love that moment
“the diverse stripes” is the funniest band name they could’ve come up with lmaooo
this cast might be the cutest one out of all of them. they look like they genuinely love each other :)
I couldn't agree more :)
When they were all cheering for Bob and Sally and the end, it was probably the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time
I totally agree. The other series turned me off because of bad attitude. This one is just so lovely, everyone of them was so nice to each other. I truly enjoyed this series.
Actually at the moment I love series 12 the most. But I do love these lovely people too.
there may have been funnier tasks and funnier comedians in other series but as a group they were perfect, genuine, warm and really enjoyable. Best 5, hands down
My personal favorite cast would have to be that/those of Series 4. However these 5 are an _extremely_ close second!! (I’ll also say that I’ve never been disappointed in _any_ cast!)

Nobody tries harder than mark for the opening sequence and he almost always gets punished for his efforts. Nice to see him win a well deserved task with the bathroom set. (he was completely robbed for points on the puzzle and stealing Greg's pants for example)
The contrast between the songs is incredible, Mark and Nish made a song about how they feel inferior and the other three straight-up roasted her.
This is the most cohesive cast I have seen. Good vibes only.
Seriously. They all had great chemistry, especially Nish and Mark. And they all seemed to just enjoy being there.

I think this is my favorite of the seasons that have been posted on TH-cam so far.
"I'm Always Seeing You (Do Cool Stuff)" is honestly kind of a bop.
"Hello, lady" is an underrated joke.
I rewound that 5 times, I thought it was so funny. Not sure why I found it SO funny, but I did. Alex Horne himself seems pretty underrated too, actually.
Was it even a joke? It was just kind of an awkward way of addressing the "crowd."
I love how after Bob's "Do we strike you?" line the camera cuts to Sally who is laughing just as hard as Nish, even though she was there at the time and Nish is just seeing that for the first time
the group hug with "I'm Always Seeing You (Do Cool Stuff)" in the background genuinely brought tears to my eyes
Three things:
1, Sally Phillips can get it
2, of course Nish made a song about trying his best and not being good enough. Basically his swan song for the series. If he scored ANY points in that last task, he would've won, but he failed immediately.
3, Greg didn't call Alex "little"
Damn it's just Sally can get it lmao

I would watch the heck out of that.
But it would also determine the absolute worst contestant. Imagine being one. I guess only Nish could handle it with a light heart
I suggested this in another video. Would love to see Nish back doing things in his Nish way.
Please. Please make this happen.
Unfortunately, Alex has said he's not going to do it because he doesn't want to encourage people to try and do badly
Nish and Mark's song was such a good surprise.
I'd like to see a separate upload with the song only so i can keep it on in the background.
What a lovely song.

Nice, thanks 👍
The fish pun compilation didn't have the "dolphinitely" from the synchronized team task so I can only assume alex regularly makes fish puns outside of that task
Or it's because a dolphin is not a fish.
They did count Alex's porpoise pun from the graph task so maybe they forgot to include it
@@randomrabbit3161 they did. Its the last one in the compilation.
He said he tried to slip one in every time he saw her, so they probably just picked a few 7 the ones that would look funniest in the edit.

Sally: "I can't sing!"
Nish is always so excited after seeing the other members tasks lol. such a good guy
I think one of my favorite things about this show is how connected everyone gets. You can tell they genuinely have gone through something together and support each other (for the most part) haha
I caught the porpoises one and that was it what a surprise
There's also definitely a scene in an earlier episode where Alex says "dolphin-ately" and looks meaningfully into the camera. It was during the team task where Sally, Aisling, and Bob were doing synchronized dancing.

Amazing how many people her are commenting about Nish's graph being wrong. The fact that we're generally labeling axes from left to right and bottom to top is pure convention and not a rule or law. The one mistake there is the lack of arrows denoting the direction, but it's still a better graph than the others. But that's just me, a maths teacher, talking.

The Rosalind songs will stick in your head for a long time. I love how the weather matched the song's messages.
I was amazed that Nish, who has one of the most nasal voices ever, has a really nice singing voice. Bonus that the song was first class. (I would have split the points 4 for Nish & Mark, 1 for the others. It was that good.)
Probably the "Rosalind is a Fing nightmare" part of the song, gave the other team the extra point. But I agree, the Diverse Stripes were amazing
The song “Rosalind is a F Nightmare” had an actual chorus, so I think 3 and 2 was fair.
@@Brinta3Firstly, ”I’m always seeing you (do cool stuff)” also had a chorus. Just because it is short doesn’t make it less of a chorus.
