- Talk about ending on a bad note. The climactic live tasks are stressful enough without one of your fellow contestants breaking down or outright trying to sabotage the game for everyone else - as seen in this montage of some of the more memorable Taskmaster meltdowns.

That 2-words each question task at the end was so hilarious. The team of 2 seemed to be generally on the same page, but the other team was just Dara trying to wrangle two lunatics.
I give John points for "muddy garden" but then he immediately loses those points for "into mountains."

Fern Brady saying "crashes more" is one of the greatest moments in Taskmaster history

The escalation from throwing beanbags to throwing buckets was amazing
Lee even ended up with 3 different coloured buckets in a tower.
John really saved that first question with "muddy garden"
Really thought Dara might stroke out at others' stupidity at times during this season. His looks & reactions of incredulity were so funny!
Absolutely loved when Daisy went nuts, the entire cast knew exactly what was coming, just a human being completely falling apart and it was not a surprise to anyone.
The moment where she knocked the coconut off the pillar was absolutely hilarious
Also because they didn't have an audience, she had a meltdown in a quiet, almost empty room
that was awesome, don't remember that from the whole season

I actually think charlotte should've gotten a point, the bucket was taller than her and also stacked. It's just not on the ground but nothing in the instructions said anything about it being on the ground.
It depends on the wording of the task and I can’t be bothered to check but if it is as you said and it must be TALLER than it was not taller than her because how tall something is relies on its change of latitude from bottom of the item to the top not just the latitude that the top of said item is however if the buckets simply need to be higher than your head as opposed to taller than you then yes it should count.
I also mean altitude not latitude but what can you do with autocorrect I guess.

Someone did that on the Danish version but it was not approved

She may be a woman of limited task completing skills, but when it comes to beanbag shot putting, safety announcements in Scottish accents or arranging shapes with your face, there's no one quite like Charlotte Ritchie.
That was the comedically perfect amount of time between “crashes more” and “into mountains”. I laughed so hard I wheezed

If your biggest problem in life is being thought of as the clever one, so you get teamed up with a couple of dimwits for comedic effect in a show where you're handed a load of cash to pop around a house a few times a month to basically have a right laugh, I think you're probably going to be ok.

To be a bit fair with the dungaree overall bit. They made Greg say Dungarees the first time around... The task was to make him say the word and not give it as an answer..
But then we wouldn't get the hilarious and sassy follow up question on the 2nd attempt..

I think that was obvious to pretty much everyone in the universe apart from John.

@@Matthew-bu7fg yeah... I cannot remember precisely when, but I remember feeling Mawan got less points than I thought he should have got a few times, basically because he often came up with different ways of solving the tasks that might be seen as bending the rules aka interesting interpretations 🙂
Im not a big fan of the contestants that series, always felt wierdly tense to me
@@etherdeef4303 yeah... I think the tension was the result of Daisy Cooper. Remove her from that series and it would likely have been more pleasant. I obviously don't know her well, and she was pregnant during the series, so it's probably not fair, but I think we get quite a good insight into people's personality as it's filmed over such a long time, along with each weekly show.

FWIW, Fern was totally right that helicopters are *way* more likely to crash than airplanes. So much less redundancy. But... it's not the direction I would've gone in for this one 😂
They had to specify not breaking the box because of Jamali's behavior in the previous series.

IMO the OP's comment kinda makes the same point: since nobody immediately thinks helicopters crash more into mountains, neither would John or Greg, unless it was a reference to that famous incident. She is legitimately autistic, but honestly the alternative isn't too far off
I remember reading an article about her being diagnosed as autistic not that long before filming Taskmaster and making a deliberate choice to present herself authentically on the show (rather than masking) to provide some positive representation. That different way of thinking about things definitely contributed to the hilarity in the two words each task!
Apparently she's pretty autistic from what I've read in other comments. And I guess the lighting and noise all distract her. I always thought she was a bit lost
