choosing to open this with Bridget implying that Alex has never done anything kinky was a genuinely inspired choice to set the tone for what feels like a serious documentary about a campaign of psychological warfare on a scale I have never seen before.
Rhod Gilbert, before every task, chose chaos. Bridget Chistie, when her agent called her and said the word Taskmaster, decided immediately to spend every available moment that followed in pursuit of burning down one particular man on national television.

I'll be in the middle of an anecdote and she either pauses me in the middle with complete confusion or runs in the complete opposite direction with a loose thread on it. She's extremely clever and sees angles I could never get but completely fumbles on grasping certain ideas or understanding motives outside her own. It was so good watching this season as i have never seen someone get to Alex as much as she clearly did, every second Alex is around her you can see him desperately trying to cling to inner peace :')
Also, i dunno if it was an act or if Bridget is really like that, but man, she did so spectacularly awful at every task! Like she was in a league of her own! Though the highlight was definitely the whole walking/dancing thing, like just firstly, she never walked normally and i have no idea how she ended up deciding on that constituting walking? :') But then when they put it with the song and her dancing matched the walking, i was in tears :')
