I watch a lot of numismatic content on y-Tube but this is by far the best. I love the format. Showing the video of the coin before you sent the coins to CAC and then showing the results is terrific. I am a collector and a big CAC fan. I feel I learned a lot from this video. Hope you continue with new content. It was great to see JA show why the coin didn't CAC !!!
The format in which you do this is crazy beneficial for any watchers. The ability to see the before and after, explaining why you submitted or gambled sending, and then seeing the results sets up a little more success for everyone. Thank you for this fantastically put together video.
Really enjoyed this video. I play the same game occasionally albeit not with the same level of coins that you have. It’s like a treasure hunt! Sometimes you get treasure, sometimes you’ve used the wrong map!
Yeah it's just the reality that sometimes they see stuff we don't see, sometimes we see stuff they don't see, and sometimes it's a coin toss (so to speak ;)
A lot really nice coins don't get enough love. I have a 1822 Chile 8 Escudo in NGC XF45. It is a gorgeous coin with a superb strike and fantastic eye appeal. Most would overlook it because of the grade. It is more attractive than most higher grade coins and even more interesting because it actually circulated as real money.
@@Rarity7Coins yes it is just an educated opinion and subjective. I saw a guy on youtube that had some coins rejected. He broke them out and got them regraded. Then he sent them back to CAC and guess what. They got stickers.
The tough part is that the practices of the hobby have changed over the years -- it used to be AOK to clean your coins (if anything else gets dirty in life, we clean it. Why not our coin collection?). Particularly with proofs - they'd get dusty and those mirrors would need some polishing just like the rest of the mirrors in the house. It's only more recently that our tastes have changed and Cleaned became a dirty word.
your point is exactly why the consensus among PCGS and NGC is to call a non harshly cleaned coin "problem free" Unfortunately CAC is being uber anal and making the other grading services appear to be inadequate.
1892 proof set is crazy! Great coins! I still don't like coin grading. It's very subjective. Until we remove the human error and opinions on grading and can't send one in after crack out and get a different grade each time, I won't like it. Maybe one day they will have a computer or something to do the grading so it's more consistent then I may consider it. I will buy slabbed coins but I have never sent one in although I would like to just out of curiosity on a few of mine to get another opinion but I doubt I will. I have some I think would definitely grade higher than what they are but who knows. Awesome coins!!
Uh ohh, I have a 1882 pf gem from MMV. It does have a bit of the “electric blue” but it does have a semi cameo look.. Anyway, just found your channel 👍
That 26 peace dollar in 66+ goes against everything CAC says it likes and stands for they want original coins but yet just stickered a dipped out coin and I can’t get pass the 66+ grade with the big scratch or contact mark rite in front face how they bumped that coin with that mark is beyond me
Hi Noah, I enjoyed this video. The coins are fantastic-just the type of coins I collect. I would like to see more videos like this. I subbed. Sub #255.
They had been to cac one had a sticker and one was in CACG holder but you say no they have not been to cac huh well how in world they get that sticker or the CACG holder make that make sense you just for sure made zero sense
I will also say Rarity 7 coins are way way overpriced at least the ones I see on eBay like 40 percent over retail crazy not sure who is buying those coins at those prices but I can’t why I use great collections it’s the only fair site I found that uses real sheet pricing
maybe due to the internet making the world smaller the dealers now have to compete with collectors at the auctions or buy from other dealers who are paying near market value. I haven't bought from a dealer in many years because I would rather outbid them in auction.
For my money this is the best numismatic content on TH-cam. Super educational and entertaining stuff for advanced collectors.
Sweet! Thanks for the kinds words :)
100%. Just found this channel.

Damn, CAC is cray-cray; that flying eagle cent is the bomb. Grrrr! ;-)
There's a follow-up in the next video (coming next week....)
Great video. I liked how you showed the before videos and talked through why it did or didn’t cac. Congrats on the matched proof set
Appreciate it!!

Totally. But the good part is the more we learn and try the better our maps get :)
That 67 Mercury Dime is fire ! 🔥
I love it. Those might just be my favorite coin ever.
Awesome vid, keep it up! This hypes me up for my CAC stickering return arriving later today!
Thanks!! Enjoy your submission :) And good luck!

Great video. I look forward to the next one.
Really enjoyed! Thx
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come :)
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets really nice coins back from CAC without stickers.

nice to see someone that is not only into generic morgans or modern bullion.
Excellent video. Thank you for showing the coins up close with superb camera work. You've earned my sub!
Much appreciated! 🎉❤
Noah what a great submission. Thanks for all the work and editing to put this together right and proper.
Thank you!! More to come soon....
I feel like I've learned more about coins and grading watching this video than I have in the last 3 years. Thank you appreciate the content!
Thanks for the kind words! More to come soon...
Great approach & video format ! Useful content !
Much appreciated!
It seems like every coin that is over 150 yrs old was cleaned, rubbed, or brushed at one time. And cac was there to see it all.

Amazing content, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
@@NicolasBlouin-s1s thanks for watching!!
That scream at the end scared me-
That 1892 proof with the sticker though is amazing!
the proof set at the end, jesus. Is it bad to say that coins are like my main motivator for working hard at my job to get paid more? lol
Not bad at all! Welcome to the club :)
Great job overall on the video and hope to see more from you
Thanks!! More to come for sure :)
Great content! It is super educational for a newbie such as myself. 💥💥💥🥊
Marvelous Video.
Great images. You have a very nice camera and light setup.
Thank you very much!
Wow that flying eagle cent looked amazing for a AU-58
Agreed! Follow-up coming in the next video (this week). I sent it back to CAC for reconsideration.
@@Rarity7Coins nice! Looking forward to seeing your future vids!
