Would probably never happen, but I wouldn’t mind if some of these characters returned one day in a future series or the comics and were properly fleshed out, or even get new toys! I would kill for a highly posable version of Kenzan even if he didn’t combine, I just love that design for a Japanese themed police bot. In fact I would kill for any new toys of the Swordbots, it’s just Kenzan’s my favorite.

Sweet Primus....these guys took lessons from Getter: three guys who could switch themselves around for different modes... I strongly doubt the toys could do that, if Getter itself had trouble making stable toys that could do the same, and at retail prices at that.
Everytime if kenzan or gekisou is the main form, ganoh and senseimaru is the legs and hishou and jinbu are the middle parts. And if jinbu and hishou are the main, kenzan and gekisoumaru are the legs, and ganoh and senseimaru are the middle part. And you know the rest.
This series has some really good animation and some good stuff. I don’t know if it would happen but I wouldn’t mind seeing these characters in another shape or form in another series or comic. Maybe they can uses these characters for a sequel series to RID 2001.
Man, this reminds me of the Unicron Trilogy. So glad I grew up with that instead of that lousy Geewun cartoon, 80's in the US was sooooo overrated lol.

Kenzan kinda looks like chase from rescue bots just because they are police bots.

The CGI on this show looks smooth asf with all those complex transformations and combinations.

ゲッターロボもそうだけど、換装ギミック付きで3段重ねは設計的に難しいのかもですね。
リメイクされるとしたら胴体部がもっと薄くなるとか、アクエリオン式合体になるか、余ったカブトが下駄に変形するみたいな変更はありそうです
