Megatronus/The Fallen is one of the Best Villains in Transformers and it would be awesome if we got another Transformers show with him as the Main Villain.
Unfortunately rid 2015 ruined his amazing character from the covenant of Primus not which is canon to rid 2015 and prime dreamwave productions, and bayverse tie in comics are the only ones who did him justice
He wasn't according to the Covenant ,he chose to exile himself to redeem himself to Solus and if they wanted a real menace they should have brought back Flatline from Universe the Decepticon who worships Unicron back instead,or at least Airachnid and her army Fun Fact Universe was supposed to be TFP's prequel which is true but unfortunately the game shut down Thanks a ton Hasbro!!!!!!!

Megatronus Prime who once left his apprentice and founder of the evil faction has returned from his exile by the Dynasty of Primes in search of Remnants and Survivors of the war.......... It should be noted that the Decepticon members presented are: the restructured Decepticon Island (without furry Decepticons), the starscream hunters (changing Razorhorn for Overload), the Cyclonus council and the Stunticons with their respective combiners in season 3 the list would be: Megatronus Confederation: Leader: Megatronus Prime Decepticon Island: Bludgeon, Shadow Raker, Fracture, Shadelock, RoughEdge, Overload, Glowstrike, Nightra, Vehicons. Council: Cyclonus, Skyjack, Cyberwarp, Treadshock, Riotgear. Stunticons: Motormaster, Dragstrip, Wildbreak, Heatseeker, Slashmark Combiners: Galvatronus, Menasor.
Looking back, rid 2015 definitely wasn't as good in quality compared to tfp but I still have nothing but pure nostalgia and respect for this show for being such a prominent staple of my childhood, still to this day I still think megatronus was an absolutely goated villain other than the ogs like starscream and soundwave.
Same, this show is the most over hated and underrated thing in transformers history besides age of extinction, rotf, and animated 2007. This show deserved better.
So Megatron was done dirty in RID as well ( not gonna lie I enjoyed this show as a kid and even now but it still hurts to so a lot of my favorite characters get the short end of the stick, Soundwave Shockwave, megatron, arachnid ) , still while both megatron and soundwave were done dirty at least it wasn’t as bad as how they massacred my boy Predaking ( well the Predacons in general ) to bring back Starscream ( which is something I am not against just disappointed on how it was handled since it could have been done in so many different ways that potentially speaking could results in so many interesting / enjoyable moments, plot points, cameo’s, interactions and so on and so forth ( in all honesty my problem with Predaking’s supposed death isn’t that the fact that he was “killed“ but how it was done, which is basically boil’s down to plot and a retcon that doesn’t make any sense story-wise because the way it was done and shown in the show was, Skylynx and Darksteel were killed while Predaking’s fate was left for interpretation which doesn’t make sense to me whatsoever due to how Predaking’s personality and how much he values his brethren and that’s without mentioning that he was confronting starscream with skylynx and darksteel who were both in beast mode surrounding him, so starscream had the predacons in front of him preventing him from escaping and the throne of megatron directly behind him essentially blocking any way out and your telling me that he somehow someway managed to not only escape from them who were literally a couple of meters away from him, and is outnumbering him 3 : 1, on top of being literally stronger and faster than him, as well as being better than him in every aspect ( well Predaking is at least ) But not only did he managed to survive by somehow escaping which should be impossible due to Predaking’s presence ( in all honesty I can see him finding a way to outsmart and escape from skylynx and darksteel but with Predaking being there and knowing starscream all to well there is no way whatsoever for starscream to survive ) but also killing them ?!? By accidentally stepping on a comedically big red colored button that was conveniently on the floor and not only was it connected to weapons strong enough to one-shot a predacon but also coincidently put in a position aimed at the door, ignoring starscream and shooting the predacons who were behind him ?, see what I meant when I said it didn’t make sense story wise? If the decepticons had access to such powerful weaponry that can one-shot a predacon even if it is the average ones, why didn’t they use it against the autobots? Or better yet why didn’t knockout tell the autobots about these weapons to use them against Unicron ? And while I am not 100% sure if this is true I read somewhere that Predaking returns in his dragon form in a comic with Starscream’s arm in his mouth, but that’s irrelevant to all of this, so basically this whole rant is about how the decepticons ( especially Megatron, Shockwave and soundwave ) and predacons as well as arachnid and the insectcons were wasted potentials due to being done dirty
Not gon' lie but watching these scenes as the only Transformers fan that ever enjoyed RID 2015 ever since I was a pre-teen kinda wanted me to do this for joking purposes XD lol. Diehard TFP fans: "Prime was the most awesome and iconic series, and RID 2015 took that all away!" Me as the only Transformers fan to ever enjoy RID 2015: 4:32 Also... My POV: I enjoyed both Rescue Bots and RID 2015 alot more than Prime and the WFC-FOC games combined as I also enjoyed the 2 overhated Transformers movies AOE and ROTB for the Dinobots and Maximals besides 2007 and my 2 favorite overhated guilty pleasures ROTF and TLK alot more than the 1986 movie,DOTM, and Bumblebee movies combined ;) How Prime,WFC-FOC games,G1,DOTM, and Bumblebee movie fans would react to my POV: 5:26-5:58 Even tho' I'm just joking around? My only problem with this is the fact they didnt try to ask Megatron. Ok hear me out this show suppose to be sequel to TFP if some of you forget TFP ended with Megatron end the Decepticon and exile himself given the circumstance they can save a lot of time by calling Megatron since now Megatron already fuse with Unicroncore giving him the same power like Unicron incase you forget Transformers have 2 God Primus and Unicron if they just call Megatron he will beat Megatronus in few minutes

Prime gets revived at some point during the show. This is megatronus, who Megatron was named after. Megatron is still out in space somewhere and doesn't appear in this show iirc.
Megatronus wasn't a Decepticon. Megatron (Prime) created Decepticons long after Megatronus banishment (because of Cyberton Council making Orion Pax a Prime).
