Megatronus/The Fallen is one of the Best Villains in Transformers and it would be awesome if we got another Transformers show with him as the Main Villain.
Unfortunately rid 2015 ruined his amazing character from the covenant of Primus not which is canon to rid 2015 and prime dreamwave productions, and bayverse tie in comics are the only ones who did him justice

Looking back, rid 2015 definitely wasn't as good in quality compared to tfp but I still have nothing but pure nostalgia and respect for this show for being such a prominent staple of my childhood, still to this day I still think megatronus was an absolutely goated villain other than the ogs like starscream and soundwave.
Same, this show is the most over hated and underrated thing in transformers history besides age of extinction, rotf, and animated 2007. This show deserved better.

Now yes, I'm aware that he did scream in anger when he was chasing after Starscream for the omegalock keys, but that was because he failed to capture them.
You know shit is about to go down when even OPTIMUS loses his cool. My personal headcanon is that while this is Megatronus, it's actually the mind of Liege Maximo with the body of Megatronus and a T-cog ripped out of another decepticon. Liege Maximo was, after all, the first decepticon. And while Megatronus was corrupted by Unicron, Maximo was an enemy of both gods. Also, that altmode is sick.
In all honesty, if they were going for more than one season they should've had Megatronus as the final main antagonist of the series. Maybe Starscream could've made a deal with him in order to rule cybertron only to have Megatronus betray or even kill him then rather than having each show up for only one season.

So Megatron was done dirty in RID as well ( not gonna lie I enjoyed this show as a kid and even now but it still hurts to so a lot of my favorite characters get the short end of the stick, Soundwave Shockwave, megatron, arachnid ) , still while both megatron and soundwave were done dirty at least it wasn’t as bad as how they massacred my boy Predaking ( well the Predacons in general ) to bring back Starscream ( which is something I am not against just disappointed on how it was handled since it could have been done in so many different ways that potentially speaking could results in so many interesting / enjoyable moments, plot points, cameo’s, interactions and so on and so forth ( in all honesty my problem with Predaking’s supposed death isn’t that the fact that he was “killed“ but how it was done, which is basically boil’s down to plot and a retcon that doesn’t make any sense story-wise because the way it was done and shown in the show was, Skylynx and Darksteel were killed while Predaking’s fate was left for interpretation which doesn’t make sense to me whatsoever due to how Predaking’s personality and how much he values his brethren and that’s without mentioning that he was confronting starscream with skylynx and darksteel who were both in beast mode surrounding him, so starscream had the predacons in front of him preventing him from escaping and the throne of megatron directly behind him essentially blocking any way out and your telling me that he somehow someway managed to not only escape from them who were literally a couple of meters away from him, and is outnumbering him 3 : 1, on top of being literally stronger and faster than him, as well as being better than him in every aspect ( well Predaking is at least ) But not only did he managed to survive by somehow escaping which should be impossible due to Predaking’s presence ( in all honesty I can see him finding a way to outsmart and escape from skylynx and darksteel but with Predaking being there and knowing starscream all to well there is no way whatsoever for starscream to survive ) but also killing them ?!? By accidentally stepping on a comedically big red colored button that was conveniently on the floor and not only was it connected to weapons strong enough to one-shot a predacon but also coincidently put in a position aimed at the door, ignoring starscream and shooting the predacons who were behind him ?, see what I meant when I said it didn’t make sense story wise? If the decepticons had access to such powerful weaponry that can one-shot a predacon even if it is the average ones, why didn’t they use it against the autobots? Or better yet why didn’t knockout tell the autobots about these weapons to use them against Unicron ? And while I am not 100% sure if this is true I read somewhere that Predaking returns in his dragon form in a comic with Starscream’s arm in his mouth, but that’s irrelevant to all of this, so basically this whole rant is about how the decepticons ( especially Megatron, Shockwave and soundwave ) and predacons as well as arachnid and the insectcons were wasted potentials due to being done dirty
@javierd580 predaking's whereabouts are unknown but the non canon IDW rid 2015 comics did reveal predaking was alive and on earth but that comic run was canceled before we could find out why he was on earth and how he survived. Within actual canon, the rid 2015 cartoon revealed starscream killed skylynx and darksteel but he never brings up predaking.
RiD2015 was such a refreshing departure from the dark yet dull Prime, and it introduced Vehicle/Beast transformations that hasn't been seen again since
Megatronus wasn't a Decepticon. Megatron (Prime) created Decepticons long after Megatronus banishment (because of Cyberton Council making Orion Pax a Prime).
Honestly When this show first came out I didn’t hated it as much as other ppl did but when certain characters got done dirty and made a complete 180 to their character journeys and repeated episode it’s very disappointing And this show honestly could’ve been great as Prime like personally I don’t really mind the animation that much it does getting used to yeah but it’s not that bad as other shows from this franchise And like this could’ve been the grand finale towards it just imagine Megatron coming back and teaming up with Optimus and his team coming back to be beat one of the 13 primes that would’ve been peak It’s just disappointing and missed opportunities that this show could’ve done but chose not too

By accidentally stepping on a comedically big red colored button that was conveniently on the floor and not only was it connected to weapons strong enough to one-shot a predacon but also coincidently put in a position aimed at the door, ignoring starscream and shooting the predacons who were behind him ?, see what I meant when I said it didn’t make sense story wise? If the decepticons had access to such powerful weaponry that can one-shot a predacon even if it is the average ones, why didn’t they use it against the autobots? Or better yet why didn’t knockout tell the autobots about these weapons to use them against Unicron ? And while I am not 100% sure if this is true I read somewhere that Predaking returns in his dragon form in a comic with Starscream’s arm in his mouth, but that’s irrelevant to all of this, so basically this whole rant is about how the decepticons ( especially Megatron, Shockwave and soundwave ) and predacons as well as arachnid and the insectcons were wasted potentials due to being done dirty

What happened to predaking and the predacons after Transformers prime ?
@javierd580 predaking's whereabouts are unknown but the non canon IDW rid 2015 comics did reveal predaking was alive and on earth but that comic run was canceled before we could find out why he was on earth and how he survived. Within actual canon, the rid 2015 cartoon revealed starscream killed skylynx and darksteel but he never brings up predaking.

RiD2015 was such a refreshing departure from the dark yet dull Prime, and it introduced Vehicle/Beast transformations that hasn't been seen again since
this show was made by the same people that made transformers prime but some how the action completly fails

Megatronus wasn't a Decepticon. Megatron (Prime) created Decepticons long after Megatronus banishment (because of Cyberton Council making Orion Pax a Prime).

Honestly
When this show first came out I didn’t hated it as much as other ppl did but when certain characters got done dirty and made a complete 180 to their character journeys and repeated episode it’s very disappointing
And this show honestly could’ve been great as Prime like personally I don’t really mind the animation that much it does getting used to yeah but it’s not that bad as other shows from this franchise
And like this could’ve been the grand finale towards it just imagine Megatron coming back and teaming up with Optimus and his team coming back to be beat one of the 13 primes that would’ve been peak
It’s just disappointing and missed opportunities that this show could’ve done but chose not too
