@@JohnPaulMusicUK your the man , thanks JP! I’ve watched this video a bunch and when I try to do this with the rc500 I mess it up constantly.. I’ll put a solid rhythm track down on A , then switch to B and put some chords down and things seem ok until the first time the play together and when it gets to the end it’s like it stops for a second and then replays rather than it being continuous and it sounds like crap .. I have no idea why it does that .. even if one loop is a second longer than the other wouldnt it find a way to blend it without stopping like that ? Thanks again for the video ! Your a huge help
Ahhh.. so if it’s stopping for a second, it’s adding a bar on to the first track as the second track thinks it’s 5 bars long. Try clicking the button when putting the four chords down just before the end of the 4th bar… like beat 3 of bar 4. Then it will calculate to go to the end of the bar. Hope that helps.
@@JohnPaulMusicUK ahhh thanks Jp ! Do you have any experience using the tc helicon voicelive 3 ? I’m currently using the play acoustic - boss rc 500 but I’m seriously thinking of just getting rid of both and condensing to 1 unit especially because I can switch from acoustic to electric guitar with the same unit .
I have used one but it was quite a few years ago. Personally I didn’t like the looping side of it although the vocal and guitar effects were faultless. If it was me I would make sure to go for the extreme version but Connect with @DavidShanhun as he has had extensive use out of his and has done many gigs with a Voicelive 3 👍🏻
Watching your videos puts me back in the conundrum of Boss RC-600 vs HeadRush Looperboard or even a Boss RC-505 MK2 with a couple of Boss FS-7 Switches. 🤔🤓
My advice. Step back and decide HOW you want to loop. The 505 MKii has the same brain as the 600 but one less loop and obviously more of a hands on control. The advantage of the 505 is the faders/mixer element and the effect you can get to and tweak live quicker.. this is why lots of beatboxed use it and people like Saro and MB14 who are just legends on them. But you have to use your hands. Now you can always marry that with a 600 or a Midi pedal The advantage of the 600 is of course it’s all floor based and that extra track and you can use the assigns to trigger multiple things at once - Come to my RC-600 workshop on Sunday and you can see everything to do with it. Really liked the clever use of the expression pedal to create the drop on a different beat. Nice work!
Thanks 🙏 👍🏻
Amazing JP learn so much from all of these. Much appreciated
Glad you liked it. 👍🏼
This is awesome ! Thanks so much JP ..
Actually this video is because you asked how did I do it.
So - thank YOU an you are welcome 😂 👍🏼

One of the most horrifying shit i have ever seen
What’s the syncmode Youre using? That’s nice! Live it!
Sync mode is the one where the measures can be different lengths. 👍🏻
@@JohnPaulMusicUK yes but what mode you use!?
To be clear, that’s the mode i use.
I use ‘Sync Mode’
