ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns with multi-platinum recording artist, Grammy Award winner, and talented actress Ariana Grande claiming her red chair alongside superstar Coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton as they return for Season 21. Carson Daly returns as host. The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and Live Performance Shows.
This season's Battle Advisors include Jason Aldean (Team Kelly), Kristin Chenoweth (Team Ariana), Camila Cabello (Team Legend), and Dierks Bentley (Team Blake). For the Knockouts, one superstar Mega Mentor will work with all the coaches and their teams.
In the Live Performance Shows, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast, and the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I love how he does the looping and instruments himself. It takes a lot of skill to do this and do it correctly on the first try for a live performance.

@@blackclover4375 Oh yeah. Definitely real. I remember when I first watched him do this on his live performance of Shape of You and was absolutely amazed. It was the coolest thing to watch and I’m glad he’s still doing this for his performances!
He recently played a whole set on a German late night show all by himself solely using looping (and his guitar ofc) it was so good!!
LITERALLY HOW does this man manage to literally recreate his song LIVE on STAGE and sing it without making a SINGLE mistake!!!!! He is so talented!!

@@stumpali with looping, all it takes is 1 little mistake at the beginning and the whole song is, well not ruined, but you know... not necessarily good
Sheeran is the epitome of talent, and what is expected of an artist today. He writes/produces/sings/plays instruments. Singing alone is just not enough by itself.

Depends on the, "just singing." I'm cool with A1 voices (Adele, Jazmine Sullivan, Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, etc) coming out and just singing

I seen ed Sheeran in concert and he did this the whole concert for every song it was A M A Z I N G. Even doing it on the big stage shows he's such an artist in his own league. It's so facinating
Now he is real artist! He understands musicality and sings so well. He’s a gem.

How handy is a looping pedal! And if you're Ed Sheeran you can do ANYTHING with it. I just remember him earlier this season showing contestants video of him as a teen singing out of tune. And look where he is now! So impressed that he's self-made.

To the all people enjoyed his performance and maybe got confused by the way he builds up the music: the thing he's using is called loop pedal/loop station. You basically play something, record and save it, then you can add layers on it, stop and start it whenever you want etc. He uses loop pedal since he's 14 and he's literally the master of it. Also it's a proof that he always sings live.
Agreed though I noticed at the beginning he was having a bit of trouble cause he was trying to sing into the mic and people couldn't hear him at all which wasn't his fault. He didn't stop the music and was adjusting it to fix the mic like a true class and with a smile too. It really shows that he knows how the music business works.

@@HeroShades He wasn't testing the mic. If you are talking about what happened in 1:10, actually he's adding a layer with some kind of beat boxing to the song. In his performances he has 2 mics, one which he can add layers to the loop pedal and the other is where he actually sings ✌
@@luis_soul1 It sounded like he was having a hard time because he was singing into the mic and no one was able to hear him and he fixed it which he was testing it. He admitted that he was having mic problems because it was turned off and he didn't know. Everyone pointed that out too. I couldn't hear what he was singing into the mic at the beginning because there was no sound and the mic was off but luckily he got it turned on.
@@HeroShades I honestly don’t see any issue. If you watch previous live performances of Shivers you’ll notice that he does the same thing in 1:10. He goes to the second mic and do the same. It’s part of the song live.

I love the rawness of this. You can hear him going pitchy at times and they don’t even take anything away from his performance. I miss this kind of stages from TV nowadays.
This man is seriously so amazing. The amount of talent he has is insane! To use a looper and perform his whole entire song by himself on live television, background music and all is incredible.
I doubt that there is anyone more talented then this guy in music industry, huge fan and thanks for all these years bringing smile on our faces with every song that you release 🙌
