    I’m not prepared to take this on yet, but I have been looking to see if someone has done the tutorial for the live version. Not only did you do it, but you broke it down incredibly well. This is amazing and you sing the song well too. I’m working on Galway Girl right now then I’m gonna try this one. Thanks for doing this.

    Amazing tutorial and even more amazing playing (while also singing). Would you please consider a tutorial on how you go about deconstructing one of these looped songs of Ed Sheeran, into the various segments, mapping them to specific channels, and layers. All of this appears to be an immensely complex mental acrobatics, during the deconstruction and build-back phase.

    Just wanted to add if you play this in DADGAD tuning not just drop D you can play full Unmuted strings and the little riff is easier to play also...

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Will have a look at that. The guitar on the wall behind me in my videos is often tuned in DADGAD. I don't tend to use it when I play live just because of the extra time required to tune down. Thanks for your input 😊

    Awesome tutorial mate, your loop station, do you connect both microphones to that as well as the guitar? And what looper is that?

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Anthony!
      Only the mic which does the loop stuff goes through the pedal. In this video, I was using a Boss RC-30 but I've since switched to the RC-500. Stick around for videos about that.
      Thanks for your comment!

    When you are clearing both Channels for the second part loop... What pedal do you use for that?

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The small footswitch in front of my pedalboard is a Boss FS-5U. It's used to quickly switch between channels on my RC-30. When both channels are stopped, it allows you to select both so that you only have to "clear" (hold stop and press rec/play) once instead of doing it for each channel.
